I'm on the list for the newer version of that wood mod. The new version is still in planning stages but I'll wait. It's supposed to be slightly smaller but still a 18650.

I see a gorilla's face, or part thereofHere is one I have not shown before. I made it with the others but the wood ended up very thin. So I put it in my rotation to test it out. Glad I did as the side panels warped out on me So I replaced the side panels with harder and darker wood and made sure everything thing was straight. Have been testing it out with an new to me Hadaly. So far loving the way it looks and vapes.
But one thing I noticed after making these wood mods with a lot of figure in them is that sometimes i see images in them. At first it maybe just part of an image then my brain starts putting together other parts and locks in on what could be something different. So before I have myself commited. I am very interested in what kind of image your brain is telling you it sees on the front and back panels. Help a guy out please. Later on I will share what I see. Thanks.

I have a couple of 2015 Woodvils that take 18650s. That was his best year. There are no wires inside like the earlier Woodvills; they are kind of a transition to the P67.
Yep, as @KentA says, the last batch of woodvilles are 18650, and they're flat-top for any atty.
I was waiting like a year for them to come out, so when they did, I got two...
I LOVE the look of the fancy wood mods, but I think that'll be a waaaaaay off...

I've only ever seen one of the 18650s for sale - and they wanted a small ransom for it, lol
Definitely love the P67s - they just feel good in the hand
But the LP Grand was my first true
- it was my first mod after jumping from cigalikes actually

They are still a Cadillac - yes, there are other hotrods and Rolls Royce of squonking out there, but the REO is still a standard bearer.
It was some folks on Brand X forum that suggested I look at an REO when I was doing the typical noobie-can't-make-up-their-mind-on-a-mod thing. But, I had very exacting requirements - and needed something tough. Went to the website and $185!!! Entirely too much to spend on an "Ecig"
I found a guy selling clone REOs he was churning out on the sly at his jobsite, for $60. He included a clone Chalice III, which he build for me.
One hit off of it and I shit the money for Pinky and an RM2 that day. I just copied the build on the Chalice clone using a drill bit and some free Kanthal that came with the Japanese cotton I got from Amazon - and the rest, as they say - is history.

The Grand Woodvil's always took an 18650. Rob made both an 18650 and 18490/18500 version in the 2015 production run.
The 2014 run before that had 18650, 18490/18500 and even a 14500 Woodvil. IMO the size difference between the 18490/18500 and the 14500 size was negligible. (Ask me why I would know that...
)Gonna have to pay girl if you find one. Really don't think Rob is ever going to produce Woodvils again. (He's still not doing all that great health-wise.) But metal Reos are still in production.
Kent (Hi Kent!), I e-mailed Rob last week and there will be more P67's coming in about two weeks, and more a couple months after that batch.

REO's are good mods without a doubt.
However I personally think they are a bit ugly and do not like the way the atty perches on them.

Wow - if ever there was a topic that needs it's own thread this would be it.
Just to give you an idea, I'm attaching a chart of the BF attys Rob sells at Reosmods. There are notes regarding what they started out as, dimensions etc. NOTE: Just because these specific attys were modded for BF that doesn't mean they are all easy to mod either. Something like the RM2 starts out as a cheap Triangle atty and has a LOT of machining done to change it to a bottom feeder.
