so, how are you cleaning them ?
I don't have an Untrasonic cleaner, probably should, but I don't. So just tear down, soak in hot soapy water, and air dry. I keep up pretty good in general, but pulling all O rings and and threaded tank sections, eh, maybe once a year. My biggest problem is I will set something up (outside of my every dayers) vape for a few days, then leave it sit built, wicked and dirty for months, maybe a year. Shit gets nasty at that point.....

No hands out there? :wait::D All my cleaning and organizing made me stumble across a couple of flavor mosters I have not used in ages, and really enjoying tonight. The VA Kraken

And can't believe I forgot about this one. The Hastur 24 MTL. This rivals all of my favorite mtl rda's for flavor, and is top fill, as you will notice most of the others are not. Kayfun lite +, Kayfun 2019, skyline, Dvrwa, Ares, and Doggie V1, in no particular order. I still get the small amount of leakage around the base, but very small price to pay :)

SS mesh for me, and I love it. Still need to find/try ceramic.
There's only a handful of places that even carry ceramic wicks anymore. I think they're called fc2000 or some shit like that. Dunno, still have a few pieces of ceramic wicks left from my z atty u ... Still mad about that one.

Check your posts and screws. That resistance is way high again. Should be about.65. Try it on your PN250c or SX Mini G-Class. But even . 6 is way high for a single battery mod bro. That's kinda high for a series stack actually.

i did check em. that .6 (i will check it in a min), is it "bad" for a series ? my goal is to find a build that isn't so powerfull.

It's not bad, it's just that in my view it kinda defeats the purpose of a series setup. My view, of course doesn't have to be your view.

Series is about safe power to me. I can get 180 watts while pulling like 25 amps from the batteries.

the Para'normal = 250c. the Purge, single what ?
The mod you're putting this build on is a single battery mod right? Even .6 will not perform very well. I run my singles at like .12-.18 or so. Once I get over .2 it starts getting weak. Again, to me.

Resistance isn't everything either. Wire mass plays a huge role in performance, especially on mechs.

I would suggest pulling those down to 3mm and 5 wraps if you want to get in the ballpark for a single and simple round wire. You can do that for those coils. Put em on a 3mm rod, hold one end and pull the other. Then pull some wraps off to get to 5.

I ask him if it's series and he shows me a pic of 2 series stacks and 2 single tubes :wait: That just narrows it right down :D

It has to be series. It would be pathetic on a single battery mod. .6 - .7 is not uncommon for series. You'll get good battery life for sure.

:giggle:, i'm a pita, ain't i :D

well, it looks like i have to lower the ohms a bit. i have to check batt voltage, it shouldn't be low. but its starting to get weak'ish.

Experimentation is the key to mechs. That has to be done with all the sound safety factors uppermost in mind. I am very honored by your confidence in me, but I don't know everything my friend and there are folks here with a lot more experience than I have.

I generally run my series setups in the low to mid .3s That is pretty aggressive. The average for most folks is between .4 and .5

As long as you are certain about your batteries, their wraps and that you have no shorts or loose stuff dangling around, you can safely go ALOT lower than where you are. Simple twisted builds are awesome too. And really easy. Yesterday I twisted a long piece of 30ga Ti1, cut it in half and twisted it again. Fantastic vape in the Lotus on my Cylon in TC.

You might want to try that with Nichrome. Say 28ga double twisted/3mm and like 8 wraps or something. Over wrap it and pull some off until you get the resistance you want. If you try twisted, just don't over twist it in my opinion. I don't understand guys who twist their wire until it may as well just be a lower gauge wire. You need the bumps and spaces in the twists.

The Para is a dual battery mod. You vape at 180W, but most people don’t even approach half that power. Which kinda convinced me that as someone who vapes at 40-ish W, mechs aren’t for me.
