I've used a Cylon consistently for years now. I got the Tarnish one. I should probably try track one down too before they're extinct. They fire just the way I like and are just reliable as heck. I've accidentally dropped mine on asphalt more than once.

I ordered a Charon 218 today. Smoant has made some really great mods but also some really weird looking ones. When they're right they're so right though.

The Cylon is a good mod, very difficult to find now, most sites are out of stock. I picked up the last one a local shop had about a year ago.

I thought so too. Second one en route alongside its strop. Pulled my old strop out and realized a replacement was in short order. Luckily strops are still being made

The Cylon remains one of my all time favorite regulated mods. It was the third mod I ever bought way back when. Still great. Even by today's standards. I'm getting a few dead pixel lines finally in the screen in the black one. I'm pretty sure I can fix it, but since it isn't effecting anything and still works fine, I haven't gotten around to it yet.

Ya I may grab one of those also. I have the xtar 8 bay but seeing as someone just had a "poof" ( glad he wasn't hurt ) I'm a tad leery now in using it. It's been a great charger for me but well, why screw around with something that is not up to par. I know the gry 88 has great reviews. May as well grab some batteries for the New Year while I am there too

Not an expert here Deb, but I'm pretty sure it was his battery. As you know the charger gets power off the wall plug. It does not have an internal transformer. I have the same charger and it doesn't even get warm when charging 8.

I'm going through my stuff and getting rid of impulse purchases that I know I'll never use. Like the stuff from the Asomdos and Eightvape sales. I bought stuff here, too. I still have stuff from 2016+. I just won't use them. I don't need all this stuff. I stopped counting receipts just now at 22.

Today I cancelled $150 in stuff at FT. I only left a Druga to be shipped. I even cancelled the Profile M, Grus and another Zeus Mesh.
Feels like I'm going backwards toward hoarding again and I refuse to do that.

But yeah, there's always something.

I've already failed myself. With all the news of the government wanting to shut vaping down with the not being able to get vape mail shit I've been grabbing a little more than I normally would. A lotta more actually lol. When I got my stimulus check, I went straight to my favorite online vendor and placed an order I normally wouldn't be able to make. I look at it like this. The government givith before the government taketh away!!

I grabbed the ALL-44 (4 bay version) as a back up to my Opus... surprisingly I’ve gone 3 years with the Opus and no issues, but if it died I would of been assed out on 21700 charging

Plus got the email from LiionWS saying they had them in stock again.

I had the 4 bay in my cart but then figured what the hell, may as well get the 8. I needed new batteries anyway. I normally buy a bunch at the start of a new year. Once they hit a year old, I start to notice a decline or maybe it's in my head. Exception of the Mollies that is, those still seem to be just as good as day one. I still love those samsung s batteries though. So glad you told me about those last year

He fealt that he was spending too much money and getting too caught up in the hobby, so he settled on a Nord and signed off gracefully. In a nutshell. Nuthin wrong with that.

Nope, nothing wrong with that at all. Just glad it wasn't something else. Baldy is a good guy, we made a few trades together and I enjoyed talking to him.

I'm at the point where I find myself wanting less of the new stuff I see. I sold a lot of my gear early in 2020 and now find myself spending extra on the few mods I'm buying that will hopefully last a long time - Dicodes and DNA 60 boards and German made gear are all I own now aside from a few mech tubes that I know with proper care can last forever.

He cut back on vaping i believe. Sold off a lot of gear and with the pandemic, work and how great 2020 was just hasn't been around much. I miss his presence as well though.

I agree. He was a good guy here. There's a whole bunch who were here when I got here almost 3 years ago who are no longer around.

If he did, I wasn't aware of it. I know he got hot n heavy into the political discussions, which I do not do here.

He mentioned to me a couple times how aggravated he was over some of that, so my only guess is that his leaving might have been related.

I don't know what that has do with me though. We never had a cross word. Maybe he thinks I'm going to try to talk him into coming back or something. On the other hand he disappeared from all the other sites too, so I don't know.

My parents had covid, so we did not get to see them for Christmas, we are going there today to celebrate and for the game. My kids and parents are GB fans, making me wear a GB stocking hat. Wife is a huge Bears fan, making me wear a Bears hoodie Guess I really need to rock the Saints BB today

Yes, thanks. It was very rough on both of them, but vitals stayed strong, and both fully recovered. I personally don't think it will be a game at all. Packers 454, Bears 7............ lol. You have a great one as well buddy.
