The fact that Hillary had so many supporters really surprised me. The fact that she STILL has them literally amazes me. Hell, she was proven to be a criminal!

What was she convicted of though?

Just curious. I intentionally tuned out all the hillary haters.

Here's the way I look at this whole thing: Trump promised much during the campaign and has delivered relatively little of it. Some things, like repealing Obamacare, he cannot do on his own; he needs Congress to actually put a bill on his desk in order to make that happen, so we can't lay all the blame for that on him. But there are things that are entirely within is power that he's openly reneged on -- like staying the heck out of the civil war in Syria.

That said, for just about a year now, it's been clear that either DJT or HRC would be POTUS now, and I remain absolutely ecstatic that we did not get HRC. :D

I cannot get ecstatic that we got who we got.
But the entertainment value is great.
Do not be surprised to get laughed at if you go to another country though.
Trump so far IS a national embarrassment.

If only he had Palin as his vp.

The only way to do anything at this point in time would be a massive revolution.. a complete overthrow and overhaul... which woud have too many chances for something unwanted/worse to rise up... the system has to change and it is almost purpose built to keep that from happening... Trump was a fluke...

"Eat the rich!"
Well the VERY rich are eating us, poor, working class heroes and in between.
If statistics project a Democrat to win or somebody's agenda demands a Democrat to win,
some Democrat will say whatever the prospective Democrat voter and the undecided want to hear.

If the above mandates a Republican or a Libertarian
or a populist somebody will fill that void and spew forth the required bullshit.

Exactly. The alternative was obvious in your face corruption and crime.
We chose what we hoped was the opposite but at least in my case, it was with a grain of salt and I now admit ignorance
of a variable I did not take into consideration. I did not know about the blood deal
struck by Donald when his daughter became an Orthodox Jew and married Jared.
Now, especially after his going back on so many promises and breaking his word
I'm fully aware.
Just a minute ago I watched a flick of people bitching about his promise to prosecute Hillary
being overlooked.
