It been more like 40 to 50 years. And what was Trump going to do to increase wages.. that HE could do himself? Seems to me he has been working in that. But again there is no quick fix.. unless you work for the government I guess.
I'd like to see him keep his promises too. Or at least the one within his powers to keep.....

Trump also ran on replacing Yellen, the head of the Fed. But, he has changed that too. When he campaigned he said he would replace Yellen, now he says she is doing a good job. So, while you call it the pot calling the kettle black, it's actually Trump reversing his policy on the pot and the kettle.
You may be confused because I've used one policy reversal as an example. But Trump has reversed several economic and trade policies. His reversals are a trend, not on a single policy basis but an over all policy change. His new policies, that are reversals, are trending towards more of the same as we've had for many many years, not the America first policy/policies he campaigned on.
So, I'm slightly amused that you bring up the FED but the one thing Trump can do about the FED, without Congress, is replace the chair as he said he would do but he has also reversed that campaign promise too.
You can refuse to see that Trump has become establishment. But that is what his policy reversals show. Including the FED.

I'm not giving him away yet as it's too early for that, but I have doubts that he'll ever perform well. If he don't turn it around soon, I'll be raising a new colt in 2020.

Aircraft Carriers are not fighter jets & they take time to move into position. Long distance between Australia & North Korea. Even at top speed it would take a week or more to move from the Straits near Indonesia where Vinson was on 15 the to coast of NK. They would not make a transit like that at top speed unless absolutely necessary so as not to risk mechanical issues.
