I really don't know who I will vote for..... I know it won't be Hillary... Since there are no candidates running I want. I will vote for whoever has the best chance of beating her. At this point, that only leaves Trump.

I think that this is the first time in 30 years that I can actually endorse someone who chooses not to vote. Of the two major party candidates, I would have to go with the one whose career isn't publicly known to be rife with shady deals and who doesn't have over three dozen "suspicious death" actual bodies surrounding that career. But I won't be voting for either. Gary Johnson is probably the most suitable candidate for me, even if it is a "wasted" vote. Doesn't matter much which way I vote anyway, since NY is a profoundly Democrat state.

Yeah, don't get me wrong, I'm the first to say, "get out and vote". Most people place far too much importance on presidential elections, though. On a federal legislation level, senatorial and representorial elections are way more important. That aside, I don't belong to any party, but my ideals are probably mostly leaning toward libertarian. Still, I have voted in every election for the past thirty years, and will vote in this one. But it is, honestly, the first election where I think it really doesn't matter. We're screwed either way.
Don't forget they appoint federal judges and most likely will have a say in how the Supreme Court will be shaped this time!

Yep, but the application of law in practice, well... for a system that is supposed to institute "checks and balances", there are really very few checks and balances on what Congress can and does do. The Supreme Court can only pass judgment upon cases brought before them. Most of what Congress accomplishes (or fails to) will never, ever, be subject to Supreme Court Justice.
