I have a wind up Westclox Big Ben. But the alarm is so freaking loud, so I never really use it. It looks cool, though! But, I keep forgetting to wind it.

Pardon my language, but as a person who has lived in Florida twice, why in the HELL would you wanna do that?
Because I own a house there and can't seem to get out of the frozen north.also have family and friends there...my backyard

Gaah, I pretty much hate FL too. And I’ve only been there to visit.
I have been thinking about leaving NY, though. Maybe move to a state where there’s a Gov that isn’t into lockdowns and a dick like Cuomo.

This reminds me of a news story I saw once. A man was missing for years and years, and some guy looking at Google Earth spotted his car submerged in a canal like the one behind your house! Have you heard of that?

When we lived in a lake neighborhood below Savannah, the neighbors warned us not to let our pets into the back yard. The gators would lunge out of the water and grab them. You'd be shocked how fast a gator can move.
Semi-tropical areas aren't for the faint of heart.
