Was up really early but had no company for coffee so I watered the garden and some plants. My Tomato Seedlings aren't doing well and I tried the Peat Seed Starters. The Basil is doing really well so I am not sure whats going on~!

I'm guessing they need some food. Peat doesn't provide any nutrients and tomatoes are heavy feeders. I would transplant to bigger pots with fertile soil or even outside in the ground if you're past your last frost date. I've never been impressed with those peat starters.

This is from Iowa State University:
"Peat starter pots can inhibit root growth and often do not break down quickly in the soil, leading to potential issues with plant development. Additionally, they can wick moisture away from the roots, which may cause seedlings to dry out or develop mold if overwatered."
