Does Luna like to shred? My sister had a cat who was a shredder once. Any time said cat got miffed at sister, as in, sister was away from the house for longer than an hour or two, cat would shred Kleenex. She would also chase yarn balls, unwind them almost completely around all the furniture legs in sister's apartment. Kitchen table, kitchen chair legs, the wheels of the microwave stand, on into the living room and around the legs of the coffee table, rungs of a rocking chair, etc. She definitely got her point across. And you might as well forget ever untangling all that yarn. It went into the trash.

Cats are lovebugs, sometimes, but then sometimes they are the devil, too. :)

It is some stuff we had and didn't like very much so we put it in a baggie and stashed it under the bathroom sink to use for trips or in an emergency

Frankly, I think the cats are trying to "wipe" us out!

I do that too, stash a bit of TP/Paper towel or such around....last time I went to the laundromat, I had to warn Dad to check ALL my clothes pockets for that stuff...o_O

I never leave the Apt without something to catch an atty leak or whatever...plus allergies suck.

Ack..I just laid down next to Milly for a snuggle and she licked my forehead...so scratchy and weird. But, I know it's her version of lovz. If a cat tries to groom ya, they probably like you. :D

I'm using a bit of stim cash to finally rebuild my ancient living room surfing/photo & video editing/streaming HTPC. It currently has 4GB of ram, a Maxstor HDD, and a C2D E5300 from like 2007..it's on it's last legs. :(

What ya see there was the bundle deal I found for $170 shipped:
  • ASUS M5A78L-M PLUS USB3 mobo
  • AMD FX 6300 OC'd cpu
  • PNY XLR8 32GB ram

Also on the way:
  • Western Digital Re 2TB SATA 6GB/s 7200 RPM 128MB Cache hard drive for $40
  • Fractal Design Focus G Black ATX Mid Tower Computer Case for $55

The old computer's PC Power & Cooling Silencer 750 EPS12V Quad/Black 80 Plus Power Supply, Xigmatek Loki HSF, and EVGA 650ti SC 1GB video card are fine and staying.

Not new stuff by any means, but for just around $300 I'll have a very nice 'older' PC.
It's decent quality stuff I can afford and it'll sure as hell make life easier and less frustrating for the next few years. Yes, ASUS does indeed make beautiful mobos. :cool:

My current PC and the one before it are both laptops, because I just farking LOVE having the ability to take my PC with me, if I want to. But desktops will always be near and dear to my heart just because you can do things to them without needing special tools, or a freaking schematic drawing just to know where shit is! Expansion "cards", upgraded RAM... just all of it. My last laptop, it came with 8gb RAM, but I wanted 16gb... of course that meant that the 8gb had to be removed, and 2 8gb "chips" installed. And I really tried to do that myself... but when I realized that meant I'd have to completely disassemble my whole new PC to do that, I said screw that and called Microcenter to make an appt to have THEM do it for me -- it only cost $30, since I'd already bought the RAM!

Sorry for all the /OT, here's Milly being a mellow kitteh
I went to the store and she was like this when I got back, she does that...just waits there by the door. :)

It's like 70F today and while she loooves racing around between front/back windows and lurking there, she gets overheated in the windowsills.. I got a fan going across the couch and she ain't no dummy...lol...

Here's a short vid of her playing around...so shiny and such a buff 'lil kitty. She's deceptively small, but is 9lbs of anarchy.

I'd taken a USB3 hard drive enclosure out of storage to test a new drive, and she pounced on the bag it had been wrapped in. But, of course, as soon as she saw I was filming her, she stopped doing it. :-/

When I went for the bag, she shut THAT down pronto..thwackk.


It's all good, the little moments like this with our fur-babies is good to preserve even if it's not quite what we wanted.
Will be 7mos I've had her the end of this month. =^.^=

Yeah, I'd had a pure Tortishell before, but never this Torbi variety. She's pretty damn unique and I wub her.
I got her a new toy today, the same weird animal thing (hedgehog?) as before. It'll be destroyed in a few days, but she loves 'em...to death. :D

Attack was immediate and brutal...she's motorboat-kicking with the hind feet while trying to tear it's head off. God help the mouse that ever gets in here...heehee.
