Our cat pulled one of her periodic "you ain't the boss of me" tricks last night, wouldn't come in until WAYYYYYY after dark, so she's been grounded -- no going outside for a while, which comes at a convenient time, for Halloween, all the yard apes wandering the neighborhood. :)

My baby is sick!! I think she has a UTI but I'm not sure. She doesn't cry when she pees but she has blood in her urine. I got some homeopathic stuff from the pet store and it seems better but idk. We just moved and just can't afford much of anything right now. Guh!! Think happy thoughts for my wee kitteh.

My ex's cats had constant UTI problems; his vet told him it was because the high level of "ash" in commercial catfood; he had to buy that Science Diet stuff for them. Apparently it has zero or a lot less ash.

We just switched her to wet food but she still seems kind of miserable. Hopefully the stuff is helping. It's very likely stress related but *sigh* I don't want my sweet kitteh in pain at all.

Maybe a long shot but what kind of dish does she drink from? I had a diabetic cat (yep insulin injections twice a day for years) that developed similar symptoms from his bowl, along with a rash type skin condition on his chin. But I'll be damned if I can remember which was causing it now I want to say it was the SS bowl but am not 100% maybe something to look in to.

It's a plastic dish but heck yeah ill change it out. It won't hurt them so no reason not to. Lol. It's an old bowl.

My mom had a diabetic dog so I hear ya on the insulin.

Absolutely, like I said it maybe a long shot but I am sure you're like me if it may make a difference it's worth a shot. I've been dealing with a dog that has pancreas levels that are off the charts high but no symptoms so I have been re-examining everything to try and find an answer so I totally get trying to help your fur baby at any cost.

I think Tuxie is still mad at us; she wouldn't eat her dindin. She doesn't act sick or anything, just contrary. :giggle:
