OK, just got done looking at all the new stuff I've missed. I ordered a Jackaroo, Freemax Fireluke Pro, new pair of 21700 batteries, new carrying case for spare batteries, new nitecore charger, an ultrasonic cleaner, and some coils. My ex-wife had all the vape stuff I've invested in over the years and she threw most of it out, so I'm almost starting over. But, luckily, I still have my Pulse 80 & 90 and my Drag. Plus, I still have all my mixing equipment and flavors.

I saw a thread asking which top airflow RTA was your favorite a day or two ago. It made me remember that I really like the Digiflavor Themis I'd won in a contest. The first time ever, I'm trying it out single coil. Also the first time ever, I'm using a 4mm id coil, it sprung out even more so 4.5mm probably. It's working pretty good. I used 2x26ga SS clapton 6 wraps.
I liked the original so I got a Themis with the mesh deck. I had a horrible time with it at first. I'd about given up on it but got a Profile from all the hype it'd been getting. I learned how to work with mesh and also how to wick it properly. So I went back to the Themis and got it going decently a few times and parked it. I also got that one going today.
Both of these are vaping pretty darn good.

Thanks, yeah. My Novas get used a bunch for everything and get banged up. I have backups because they were so dang cheap. I hated the edges when I first got one but now, I don't even notice it. I think it was one of the best value mods of 2019.
I'm really getting big flavor out the one on the left (mesh deck) in the picture. The other one is pretty good, but omg dat meshhh. I remember when I couldn't make it work and it was horrible. Dry hits galore and hot dry mesh hits suck. I'm glad I revisted it because with a little practice/experience this thing can be awesome. I was just taking long drags at 80W to see if it could handle it and yep, no problemo. I have no idea how it compares to the Vady Vape Kylin M. Maybe I should look for one.
Hey @nadalama are still enjoying your Ijoy Captain Elite RTA? I've grown to really like them. I was playing musical atties today and unintentionally made a matchy with one. I'm testing out one of the cheap black friday Smok mods I got called the E-Priv.

Also today I tried out my Baby Prince RBA and it's fricken tiny. I don't care for building on it and theres no room in it. I'm scared to go over 2mm id coils and theres room for like 4 spaced wraps of clapton wire. I'm trying round wire next time.
I put it in a Big Baby Light edition and holy hell those lights are BRIGHT. I have to close my eyes when taking a drag. It's almost absurd how bright they are. But I might be getting sick and have had a headache all day.

Hmmm, I love my Themis never tried the mesh one though. Wonder if they are still around. Think I will go look. I don't suppose the mesh deck fits in the regular Themis does it?
Yes, the decks are the same size. I made sure to get an opposite color as well. I switched out the middle part section and I can see the liquid level a little better.
If you ever used a Profile, you should have no problem setting it up. When wicking it, I just lace the cotton through (both sides of the mesh secured). I tried the "fold the mesh over the cotton" method and don't like it.

Thanks I have 2 of the profile RDA's and 2 of the RTA's I haven't found the themis in stock anywhere yet but maybe I can find a replacement mesh deck. Oh!!! I wonder if the steamcrave mesh deck for the plus might fit in it! Let me go try. BRB

Absolutely, I am. I would have more of them, except strikesusa has dumped all the iJoy gear they were carrying. They don't have a bit of it any more.
Since then I've bought two Hellvape Rebirth RTAs and have been working with them. Built one as dual and one as single; like the single better.
As can we all.
Congrats on getting back on the wagon. There a whole lot of us who've fallen off the vape train a time or two.

meh, I figured it was a long shot and it's really not a big deal as the deck works just fine in the plus. I like the top air flow in the Themis so I was hoping maybe. Ya, you can't find those any more. Not like I need another mesh RTA anyway

Totally boring shit today. Washed out a bunch of plastic bottles. One of these days I'll get some widemouth ones, tired of the tiny ass holes on the top of these 120's. Rinsed out the old juice, washed with some dishsoap. Let soak. Rinsed real well, then soaked with baking soda water. Rinsed again and waiting to dry. Tedious and mundane. Bleh. Just hate to waste the ones I've got already.

Mixed up 60ml of King's Custard and 60ml of idk what, possibly a Boosted Remix? It was whatever this is:
3% TPA cheesecake graham crust
1% TPA marshmallow
2% TPA strawberry
5% CAP sweet strawberry
1% TPA vanilla swirl
2% FW yogurt
0.5% CAP super sweet
I didn't have plain tpa strawberry so subbed 1% inawera shisha strawberry and kept the rest the same. Tastes pretty good so far but I know it needs to steep.

i just made my first ever Clapton. staggered 24 n80, 28 316, 32 316. yeah, its kinda ugly, but i learned a lot. but its not so bad that it can't be used. i didn't make coils yet =waiting for my eyes to readjust. i put the laptop there for contrast, and i still couldn't see shit.

Yea I've been using a pair of magnifier glasses with led's. It helps but still don't think it's strong enough. Might have to break down and see about one of those larger magnifying lamps. My mom used to use one for making jewelry and beading.

That should look nice. I went with the stainless, just because it's been awhile since I've had a plain metal atomizer. Lack of color options had me mostly choosing black mods. My alien was silver/gray whatever, the eclipse only came in black body (just the button colors changed and the few options were horrid). The revenger was black, the panels I liked most for the swell were black. So most of my atomizers I started getting in black but it gets dull after awhile. Don't think the bachelor tank came in other colors than silver (bare metal), or the original ammit. Might've had black I don't recall.
I kind of miss the older silver stuff. That and paint invariably ends up rubbing off in spots. I need more color in my life so long as it's not rainbow. I know some love them, I just can't. Not sure where I remember it from, that rainbow color. It's like the color of plastic jump rope handles from the dollar store or something or like from those electric windproof lighters they sold by the register. I used to have a koosh ball as a kid, I think it was rainbow colored too. lol.
