That's why I qualified what I said, because I'm not saying anyone should judge the experience of a Reload RTA by my experience with this clone. I am getting along better with it now. Have to turn it upside down after filling to open the airflow, or it will leak. The flavor I'm getting from it is good, but nowhere near the best, which is what I've read from several people about the authentic and perhaps even other clones. I don't think my experience is typical.

Yesterday I bought a mod and tank kit from the Hardware thread, and then in the middle of the night I ordered an iJoy Shogun Univ mod in silver and Aurora Blue, and a Sigelei Evaya 66 in silver with a stabwood plate on the front. The Evaya is to replace the one I bought over a year ago and it died a premature death. I hope this one doesn't die early as well. That mod dying hurt my feelings some kinda bad - I loved the way it looked and vaped, and then one morning, it just wouldn't power up. I was very upset, still get upset about it, so when I saw them at Element Vape, I couldn't NOT order another one. At least I have some spares for the new one if something happens to it.
That's the mod that Sigelei customer service told me they didn't offer service on mods bought from EightVape. I think it was four months old when it died. So we'll see if I'm going to be out another (small) chunk of money. Fingers crossed. I guess if I never throw away more than $35, I won't be doing too badly.
Refilled some tanks, too, played musical atties again, retired my HCigar Towis Aurora from squonking. I'll still use it as a regular mod, but the bitch leaks from inside, around the very bottom of the plastic that forms the battery sled inside. It has to be coming from the squonk bottle. I put an Engine Nano on it and later today I'll just wash out the bottle and forget all that bother. Or maybe I'll pack it away and pull out an Arctic Dolphin Anita to use in its place.
Have about a half-dozen RTAs that need rewicking. Might get to it later tonight, I think the house is going to be quiet, so it'll be a good time for it.
Is this gorgeous or what? This is the iJoy:
I hope the resin on the one I get is anywhere near as nice as that.
$31.95 at ElementVape, free shipping at $60. Will probably put a Captain Elite RTA on it.
Also need to order a couple of wraps for these Drag 157s I'm going to have. The OG metal finishes weren't durable.

Put a build in one of my new Axial RDAs. Played musical atomizers before landing on aesthetically please combinations. Got into an argument with my wife about my vape spending (which had reduced dramatically). It seriously almost wound up in a divorce. She doesn't want me to smoke, but also is only supportive of my vaping if it's a smaller hobby. I guess I should go back to smoking and buying guns and cameras and lenses because those are really cheap.

Quoting my own post again....think I found something on ECF that might fix my leaking problem on the Aurora.
510 pin is fixed, not spring-loaded. If I screw an atty down to where it sits flush against the top of the mod, it's too far down and apparently cranks the 510 in an awkward way that causes it to leak. When I paid closer attention I realized that the 510 well is really shallow, so it makes absolute sense.
I put the Axial on it with its beauty ring, so I don't care if there's a gap between. Will try it for a few days that way, once it stops peeing juice, and see how it is to squonk now.
This is one squonker that I really, really wanted for a long time before I got it. Hurts my feelings to have to retire it, so maybe...fingers crossed.

I'll just say one more thing. My husband has been through the gun-buying, fishing-buying, hunting-buying, boating-buying, ATV-buying, and archery-buying debacles, and my little vape habit is innocuous in comparison. Miniscule. Teeny tiny.
On the flip side, many women are into the hair-doing, nails-doing, designer clothes-buying, purses-buying, shoes-buying, watches-buying, jewelry-buying, makeup-buying, wine-buying, spa-and-massage-going, girl-trip-going, ad infinitum, and believe you me, my little vape habit PALES IN COMPARISON. It would just flop right over and DIE from that comparison. In shame at its own little-ness.
I spent maybe $150 total last year on vape stuff and bought 3 or 4 mods and a few attys along with consumables.
However I likely spent around $300 on electronic components from china for my mad scientist hobby.
I love it when those little packets show up since it has been so long that I have forgotten what I ordered.
Look at package.. Plastic sheets again?? Nope more chips
however I spend little on any other habit/hobby so I never get any complaints.
I vape while working on my projects, so vape related.
And am actually getting together the parts to design a tiny smart switchfet module.
Prototype with standard 74xx chip then design circuit board and use tiny SMT if it works out.

FINALLY I GOT MY NEW MOD!
For those of u that don’t know, I lost my box mod during this Chinese New Year while I was at the Chinese New Year market. Been looking for a mod since then and was hoping to try a mech mod (I have one in Canada but previous owner scare crap out me with stories and I’m kinda unlucky)
Then just now in a group chat this one guy found out I vape, then I found out he sells vape stuff. Dude can’t believe I’m still a big cloud guy and have not made a transition to pods (I also lost my pod).
So ask the guy if he has anything preferably mech mod that he can sell for dirty cheap. Then he show me this coil art magician (that’s what it’s call in Chinese) and said if u pay for shipping then I give it to for free.
I was WTF SERIOUSLY? He said yeah, then I said can I come pick it up instead? He said great, I love company. (It’s been a while since anybody has gone to do anything fun here in China)
I was very depress this holiday cuz I couldn’t do anything, plus if Valentine’s Day and I’m single. BUT MY NEW FRIEND HIT ME RIGHT OFF THE SPOT WITH A FREE MECH MOD AND NOW I FEEL A LOT BETTER PERIOD. Spot fucking on bro.
Now I just need to go pick it up
Ditch work early and ran out to pick up my free mod. 1hr bus ride with almost no battery left I just went for it as I’m too dam excited.
Feels good to have a mech mod and even better that it’s free with a new friend on the side.

What did I do today? Charged batteries, washed out a squonk bottle or two, mixed some experiments from my ever growing list of experiments, mixed some tried and true recipes.....needing some new tried and true recipes. Starting to grow tired of some of them and don’t want to burn them out. They’ve been so good to me.
Charged up batteries refilled my squonk mod and my pod. Pretty normal vape day. Looked up some juice I need to order at some point.
