Yeah.. I never owned that RDA, but from looks alone... I’d put a larger diameter coil in.

That RDA was on the short list with me and I was bouncing the thought of purchasing it...

Then the series Asgard deck... and well I wouldn’t have to change my normal coil build to achieve .40

Still on the look for a series mod... stacked there are plenty to choose... but side by side series is more my thing, mostly cause I know I’ll knock a stacked mod over.

Although stacked should have more oomph... I might just look at older 18650 stacked mods... cheaper and 20s pack more than enough for my needs

Honestly... if I can find a copper stack section for my OG Grip... my goodness

I’ll message homie from Armageddon and ask how many were made... before I get my hopes up finding one

You are going to get either the Vice RDA or the Galatek RDA - you spend $50.00 and they give you a free RDA, so you do not need to put it in your cart-
you could write in the comments on your order page and hope they send you the Vice RDA. I wrote the hours from their FB page. Maybe shorter hours due to Covid ? I usually call around 1pm PST and always get an answer - You should look at Asmodus products on Vaporrange site (sister store to Asmodus) Minikin V2 for $19.00 the Lustro for $17.00 awesome prices there- I can't buy anything since I am in NY and they cannot ship here.

Both the diameter and the length of the coil could be ~50% larger IMO. I was a tiny little bit overzealous with the diameter in mine... not that it melted the bottom of my drip tip or anything, but it was fairly close, and, with a slightly smaller diameter the flavor performance would have been noticeably improved. It's a .32 ohm quad core 26/36 Ni80 alien so it is vapable on a series mech, BUT... because the diameter is slightly too big it needs a tad more volts so even on the HOG V3 with Samsung 20S batteries to minimize on voltage sag the vape still feels a bit weak. Whereas on the HOG XL with Samsung 30T batteries it felt just about right in terms of power, but like I said the diameter was holding the flavor back to some extent.

IMO the Saga mod by Vaperz Cloud is still easily the best value for money if you are looking for a hard hitting box mech with dual 21700 in series. For an older 18650 stacked tube and best value for money my vote has to go to Deathwish Modz - Evil Twin / The Ripper / Baphomet. These mods can fit 20650 batteries, which are not needed because the Samsung 20S hits harder anyway (and there are plastic sleeves included with the mod to make 18650s fit with practically no battery rattle), but the bigger diameter also means you won't knock the mod over as easily despite TBH you should just learn to be more careful and not knock a mech over... it's just for your own good. IME the 26mm Unholy V2 RDA that comes included with the mod is right up there with the big shots in the flavor department if you put in 29/36 Ni80 aliens at 7 wraps 3mm ID dual coil = .25 ohms. As for a side by side 18650 choice of mech the Side Piece Slim equipped with the ultem Carnage 1.5 RDA is my only favorite.

Another reason why I was searching for aliens the other day. Still in the search for larger diameter one for sure. The only one I found were 3 mm id. Guess I'll just have to break down and learn myself or find a vendor like coil shit guy and pay 20 for 2 aliens to get the custom ones I need.
Or I could just use it in parallel which is more than likely what I'll do. Reason I have t bought solid series mods yet. At least with a sectional tube I can still vape it even if I don't have series coils.

Although i never dropped or knocked over a mod; I also know that the possibility of a taller mod to do as such is higher than if I grabbed a side by side... and was more of me declaring that Murphy moment than being inept.

As for the SP-S, I would of jumped on the one I posted previously for $179, but not a fan of the Color way available... if it were grey/black or whatever colors purge uses similar it would be on the way.

Thinking of sending the B2B V5 and my Valhalla Cap to be coated by Purge in Northern Lights H-315, I think that would be pretty slick looking... but it’s just thoughts... I’m perfectly content slapping my brass Asgard mini on it and leaving it alone... minus a Simpson Silver contact puck.

Appreciate the feedback/insight

Nothing is wrong with trying to keep the ohms up of course. Just that, any 25mm dual coil RDA with a single coil airflow option and enough build space like the 25mm Goon RDA would have been a better match for the size of your coil.

Learning to build your own is just a piece of cake TBH. The only hard part is to ignore poor advice from those who can't do it without using legos or whatever it is they put onto the cores to keep the cores from collapsing.

I run 6mg Salts in my BB, but normally only vape 1.5mg in my mechs.

I don't vape a ton when out and about, so I much rather get a tad more nic in per puff.

How scientific that is... no idea... could be totally wrong with said approach. I just feel 160w+ on mechs at 1.5mg salts delivers nic way differently than 6mg salts at 27w, via total atomization of said nic.

I had my i.v taken out of my arm today FINALLY!! After being hospitalized then spending weeks at home with an i.v and pump I'm finally healthy and free. I still can't believe that a new tattoo getting infected almost killed me. Becoming septic and having organs shutting down is a eye opening experience! I'm actually looking forward to getting back to work next week.

Vape related, I played with my new BB and rebuilt a new bridge for it.
