What Flavor Are You Vaping Right Now?

*chuckles* Knew there was another reason I use RDAs.

It's all good though. I'm not putting down using tanks. If that's what you like, go for it! :)
I'm absolutely going to be a rebuildable guy, planned that from the start. And now that my tastes have switched to freebase and more vape I'm going through coils too fast. I was a snob with tobacco and I see the same happening here. Coils basically taste great for a couple days, then they taper off in flavor long before getting burnt. That is UNACCEPTABLE! :D

Build some of my own coils & with a little cleaning, care I can go three to six months on a coil. Have read others going longer. My issue is basically hygenie, sanitation. Yes, I swap out the wick. You have to get a feel on things & will.

Don't worry so much about that evil fear mongering PSA. "You could be vaping metal into your lungs." The metals mostly used by us require sustained heating for long duration to release the amounts needed to be toxic. Even a basic metallurgy class can teach this, or go ask a local blacksmith for a five minute explanation.

Yes metals degrade due to heating/s and oxidation, time. Common sense and visual inspection can tell you "ah, time to build a new coil". You'll also "feel" it when it's time, or you'll be like me most often.

"Ha! Tried this kind of coil for a few days. What does kind XYZ do? Hm, pull this one out and see." Point being we don't usually allow for the material to degrade to a point where it becomes dangerous for use.

Please overlook me, I've been brain damaged since birth literally. As in any kind of defect on my part likely may not be from vaping. I'm not saying that vaping cannot cause harm. I'm not saying it does either. I'm not the "poster child" for vaping here. Just expressing that it isn't as dangerous as being made out.

Is there risk/s? Yes. You already know that though. You also know there's less risk than cigarettes. Again, get a feel because you will.

Hell, life gives you cancer anymore so what can you expect?

I don't think there is much risk to vaping. I've certainly heard no stories of such. I'm good with any minor risk compared to continuing smoking. I'm lucky and saw immediate improvement in health. 30 years smoker.

Doctors were impressed. Even though they weren't too happy to have me lecture them on their bad advice on quitting. I let them know how wrong it is to only offer the option of "cold turkey or nothing". Doctors are IGNORANT....as we can also see from our current health and political situation in this country. But that's another subject.

Good posts but getting back to "what are you vaping right now..."
My DIY lemon meringue cookie and a Pre-made (POG by Naked with a little cream added)
Also doing a SFT (single flavor test) of a tobacco I had but thought I didn't like. Turns out I didn't let it "steep" before... it's not bad and will go into my everyday tobacco mix. If anyone cares, it's Hangsens USA Mix.

Still, ... unflavored at the moment.

Tried a bunch of tobacco flavors starting out. Liked a Virginia flu cured blend from EC Blends. It was okay. But tobacco flavors really didn't appeal to me.

Got addicted to Hawk Sauce. Then, fell out of that addiction/love and started into a little DIY. Piddled and figured out a basic "oh that kind of tastes like York patties" and learned a good Bubble Gum flavor. Now, I'm mainly unflavored because well I barely taste stuff anyway. Besides K.I.S.S..

Can you describe it? Like apple pie filling or more like fresh apples? Any cinnamon? I'm considering adding apple pie to tobacco.
I found it:

The 30 ml. bottle has 34 reviews. Same product in 60 ml. bottle has 19 reviews, but still hard to tell: "refreshing apple", "sickly sweet", "almost like graham cracker", "mellow apple", "heavy on the green apple".
Sigh. These things are so subjective.

I've never ordered from Element Vape, and honestly I don't know why some sellers do things the way they do, unless it's about pmta's. The 30 ml. comes in max 6 mg nic, while the 60 mg. bottle has only the choices of 25 mg or 50.

One of my favorite apple pie flavors is Loaded Apple Fritter, yum so good.

I don't mix tobaccos, but was trying to put together a good RY4 for my sister, so had to do some research. Most of the sources I found about mixing tobaccos recommended LONG steeping times, as much as 8 to 10 weeks. So your observation is right in line with what I read.

I have also read comments that Hangsen has some of the best tobaccos. I have not looked lately, but at one time (maybe 4-6 months ago) it was nearly impossible to buy Hangsen flavors in the US. Are they back in stock now? I love their ice cream and lemonade flavors.

I would love to try black cherry (don't have any) Someone assured me that MF (medicine flower) has the best one but they are crazy expensive.

FA Black Cherry is good. I think I have about four different black cherries, but FA is the one I always end up using.

Oh, and I'm vaping today:

Naked Green Lemon
Kilo Honey Creme
Kilo Cinnamon Roll

So that's two votes for FA black cherry (at least I can afford that one) Thanks!
My RY4 is basically FA soho with caramel and vanilla added. I tried Hangsen RY1 and didn't like it... and yes, they are hard to find anymore. I would recommend FA and FLV anyway. I can slip the Hangsen USA mix into my recipe but wouldn't use it as the main tobacco. FA soho and PUR sweet tobacco are both "nutty" if they would like that. Also, ask if they like black licorice (I know... most people don't but I love it) I put a few drops of FW licorice in my tobacco mix and love it (I use that in a little pod)
Woops... thought I was a DIY thread (got carried away)

4 weeks is plenty of steep IMO. Shake it once in a while too (and of course shake it like crazy just after mixing)

I've had Mt Baker apple fritter (very strong fried fritter notes... almost too much)
I never had the Mt Baker Apple Fritter- but the Loaded Apple Fritter is strong on the apple cinnamon- sweeter side more than the fritter or pie crust flavor.
