UGH...saw a post on FB this AM of some guy at a gas station or something and his "ecig" blew up in his pants pocket. All on video. I didn't watch it bcuz I was running out the door. Of course it was probably a mech or the fire button was being pressed.
Why O why???
That stuff pisses me off, especially when it's poorly reported. It was a battery in his pocket and the video shows him putting his change in his pocket. Totally user error and giving vaping a terrible name. I realize the guy is hurt, and it could have been worse. I'm glad he's relatively ok, but people NEED to research what they're doing. Frustrating.

Howdy corner and all who found us that we missed!

You madam, are awsome! It's nice that you use your boys to make people happy. My poor pup is to scared of kids for that to be a option but she loves going to the nurseing home to see my GMA and others

I take them in rotation, hospital, schools, nursing homes and training demo's
Sounds like fun!
I don't like hospitals or clinics, always around sick people...too many nasty germs when people touch stuff, and I especially dislike sick people coughing and not at least covering their mouth in the waiting room...but that's just me not wanting to get sick, lol

I use strict universal precautions around all people. If you really think about it...the same people who are sick are buying groceries at the store. Coughing all over the products. I use sani-wipes or pick items in the back. Yes, I am a germ a phobic as well. I rarely get sick.
I could go on and on about germs. :) I'll spare you.

I have to get going. Nice chatting here.

Some dogs it's true are not the best with kids, raising mine specifically to be around any human , young , old, happy, sad, angry....took a lot of time to do and is necessary when taking the tests to certify them, and not always will it happen. 100% temperament & obedience

Name tags work. This is for punching in/out. The name tags do not have photos on them. Supposedly, the name tags cannot have a last name on them as well due to security. (Patients stalking the lives of the workers).
Guess it makes it harder to file complaints to the state also.
Calling and having my medical records pulled from my surgery and post op 2/10 and 2/11. I need the records so I can file a complaint with the hospital and the nursing board on a couple of nurses.
Contacting a medical malpractice lawyer too go after the post op nurse for negligence and malfeasance. I knew that slag was going to be an issue, I called it pre surgery and she sure as shit withheld pain meds that should have been iv not PO only and disconnected my iv. Not to mention not checking on me for over 5 hours.

Hahaha, your post reminded me of my dad. When I was in the hospital, he and mom took shifts. He would basically treat going home like going to a clean room. He wore shorts and tshirt, under his clothes. When he would get to the car; he took his shoes and socks off, sprayed himself with Lysol, took his shoes, socks and pants and shirt off, sprayed them, then put them in a big vacuum bag, vacuumed the air out, then sprayed the vacuum and car with Lysol, and put on sandals.
On the way home the clothes worn went to the cleaners. When I was released the car got sold, clothes and vacuum disposed of.
-a little nuts.

Should have said the high concentration of sick people at the hospital ER vs the relatively few sick people at the grocery store...I'll take my chances at the grocery store, lololol

Easier for the news to just throw shit out there to scare people than actually do their job and inform the public. 'Vaping is potentially dangerous but if you do things right you can prevent that. Vaping uses high powered batteries and having them connect to any metals (in this case loose change) could lead to this kind of mishap. Please keep yourselves safe and do some research on the dangers." but that would take like 15 minutes of research, knowing what actually happened, and a real care for the public.

Watching the NBC nightly news cover this last night, they did a pretty decent job of follow up interviews with vape store owners and users. They showed and explained it was a battery only, and that the gent was carrying it incorrectly, and he was the cause of his own situation.

I have to go to new job today. I'm suppose to get company issued scrubs. I also have to get HR to get my hand print in the computer to scan. They use the whole hand to use to swipe in the system. A little too advanced for me. I'm so use to using a krono's card to swipe and be done with it.
Last time I took the mutts to the Vet I had Him chip me too. Just in case I Mix Tequila & Rum again. :p

My gf and I used to volunteer at the the local shelter. Until they got to where they would send pitbulls to a "different" shelter because "their all mean and aggresive." I took my mixed mutt (golden retriver/rednose pit) in there and she walked right over to the manager and Sat down on her feet to get her lovings

I think it's probably that so many people want pitbulls for their intimidation factor, so they train them to be mean and aggressive. A lot of dobermans are that way too -- but any dog can be trained to be that way; if they're trained like a normal dog, then they'll just act like a normal dog.

ROFL... well if you had a face that looked like you'd been chasing parked cars, you'd be scrappy too. :D I find Pomeranians to be nasty little ankle-biters, usually, but I've seen a few that were really loving, sweet animals.

Funny story: in the medical practice where we used to take our son, there was one doctor that was just great: calm, friendly, terrifically competent; just the sort you want looking after your kid. But her partner? Ugg. She was always dressed like a fashion plate, makeup, hairdo, heels, frou-frou skirt suits, and just the most hideous temperament for a Dr you can possibly imagine. I called her Dr Pomeranian. :D Once she was giving my son a throat culture swab, gagging him unmercifully taking long enough for TEN swabs -- I nearly broke that bitch's arm when I grabbed it and told her that was quite enough.

Yeah!, I was just getting lunch with my mother and she brought this up, apparently this is getting some informative coverage rather than just the fear hook.

Was reading a thing last week about cops making Pit Bulls into police dogs. They said the hardest part of training them was getting them to be aggressive torwards people. He is a damn beauty!
I've always "pushed the limits" with my pit. I can walk up and stick my hand in her mouth while she's eating. I can tug on her tail and or ears (not hard. Just like a kid would do to see if she would bite a kiddo with wondering fingers) and she don't care. She just starts barking at me to scratch her lol

Ahh my pretty

I've got an i4 just like that -- had to stop using it; I was charging some 18350s one time, and it seemed to be taking an awfully long time -- when I touched it, it was HOT!!!!! So I got the batteries out ASAP, let them rest 24 hrs, and tried charging them again in my Efest luc2 -- they were fine. but I no longer trust that i4, which wasn't very old,. maybe 6 months, when it did that.

I was always mines favorite chew toy. We would play and romp and he would growl and me so ferociously lol and occassionally he would get a little too rough which was my fault. But he is the happiest dog we ever had. He grins like a fool when I come home and after being gone to work for two weeks i know it will be at least three days of constant puppy kisses from him.

I had that same problem with every 18350 I ever put in my I4. So I stopped putting the short shits in it.
