Guess it makes it harder to file complaints to the state also.
Calling and having my medical records pulled from my surgery and post op 2/10 and 2/11. I need the records so I can file a complaint with the hospital and the nursing board on a couple of nurses.
Contacting a medical malpractice lawyer too go after the post op nurse for negligence and malfeasance. I knew that slag was going to be an issue, I called it pre surgery and she sure as shit withheld pain meds that should have been iv not PO only and disconnected my iv. Not to mention not checking on me for over 5 hours.
HOLY SHIT DUDE! Withholding pain meds is a big screw up. The nurse deserves to be fired. I also think the hospital is liable for her actions as well. Have your medical malpractice lawyer write the complaints against the nurses. Otherwise, the BON will lose your paperwork. Trust me on that one.
My husband had a problem with a nurse post op CABG. He had 5 grafts. The male nurse thought one hydrocodone 5/325 pill would treat his pain. Hubs almost went into cardiac arrest. His blood pressure spiked to 190/100 and he started hyperventilating. Stupid nurse tricks. We had that nurse banished from his care. His surgeon found out and was pissed off.

Had that happen to me. Was in the hospital for a hernia surgery and they cut my damn intestines. The nurse told me one night I was liking the dilauded they was giving me too much and she was cutting me back to only loratabs which is what the surgeon prescribed for me to take orally with the dilauded. I told her to call the surgeon immediately. She told me it was 1 am and she was not going to call the surgeon so i asked for a pen. The nurse gave me a pen and then I called the wife in front of the nurse from my cell phone, told her to get on line and get me the doctors home phone number and what was going on. The nurse walked out of the room and before the wife could find the doctors home phone number the nurse comes back into the room with my IV shot of dilauded. Next day I talked to the surgeon about it and he made excuses, then went and found that nurse and ripped her a new one.

Hahaha, your post reminded me of my dad. When I was in the hospital, he and mom took shifts. He would basically treat going home like going to a clean room. He wore shorts and tshirt, under his clothes. When he would get to the car; he took his shoes and socks off, sprayed himself with Lysol, took his shoes, socks and pants and shirt off, sprayed them, then put them in a big vacuum bag, vacuumed the air out, then sprayed the vacuum and car with Lysol, and put on sandals.
On the way home the clothes worn went to the cleaners. When I was released the car got sold, clothes and vacuum disposed of.
-a little nuts.
I thought I went overboard. :)

I don't understand this "old school" way of pain control. They are obviously living in the past. Pain is the fifth vital sign and is what the patient states it is. It (pain) can only be subjective. When a nurse states what she feels it turns into a objective opinion which is wrong.

Pre surgery tried to have her banished from "caring" for me.
The threat of bed alarm and restraint, her sniveling about how much water I was drinking, and oxy by mouth every 4 hours only.
Found out yesterday the doc said allow me to get up and move as much as I felt like, as much iv fluid and per mouth fluids as I could take and I was to eat.
Since my kidneys damned near shut down in the ER I camped out in the chair near the sink and refilled as much as I could.

Oh ya and no one would fucking listen about getting the thigh cuff for the automated bp cuff cause the large was to small.
The post op nurse kept trying to get me in a gown... and kept getting to small. I did tell her to piss the fuck off.

I ended up spending over 50 days in the hospital and 8 trips to the operating table over a six month period. A nurse is not going to tell me I dont need the good pain meds. No way! After I think the second surgery I went to surgery ward two and they took such good care of me I kept requesting that surgery ward, which when the nurses found out I requested to be with them, they just fell in love with me. They also liked the smell of my vape. Hospital had a strict no vaping policy but I was vaping Ego's with a tootle puffer CE5 tanks that didnt put out huge clouds so it wasnt a problem.

I had that same problem with every 18350 I ever put in my I4. So I stopped putting the short shits in it.

Now that I don't use my tube mods (2 sigelei zmax's and a vamo v2) I never use them at all anymore. But I need to get a couple more Samsung 18650s for my boxes that use them; my blue iPV mini, and the black one I'll be getting soon to replace the defunct kbox mini.

My "bedroom mods" are a Zmax & Vamo V5. If Me or the Dog happens to fall down on them it's no great loss. I always use quality batteries in anything I hold close to my Mug. I bought the most crappy cheap ass tube I could find, A crap fire battery, & a junk Atomizer. Took the spring out so it would fire when standing up & watched. No explosion just melted the Delrin in the Atty. People saying these explode are full of shit.

I would call the board of trustees.... Hospital boards love hearing from pissed off patients who know what they are talking about and were mistreated

Not sure what your seeing for ad's, I'm on a lap top
My Android cell phone. It's the Tapatalk software that wimped out, or sold out, or something. They have the balls to offer to buy a plan to stop the ads. They can go fuck their self. I'll buy an apple phone if I have too.:cool:

So sorry you had to go thru a ordeal like that. I'm sure it was hellish. I hope to hell I don't ever have to go to the hospital. I hear too many horror stories. My mother had her share.

On a different note: cooking outside on the grill. The menu is: turkey burgers and seasoned fries.
