Good 'mawnin', fellow vape people of Corner #2. Also known as @Whiskey's West.

Once again, I awoke to a screaming urinary tract, 6:30 AM. To see a guy with mobility problems struggle to the bathroom seated on a 'Rollator' probably looks quite comical.

I don't want to ruin my clothes - the drainage tube is bad enough. The bloodletting continues.

Yet, it's a gorgeous morning, and my positive attitude is radiant (radiant? Dear God, I'm starting to read like a Cindy Crawford Meaningful Beauty commercial; Deborah Messing, are you on set for this shoot? Where is Dr. Sebagh? We've had to cut and refrigerate twenty melons for this shoot!)

Material deleted and condensed at this point to save myself any further embarrassment...

Today is another vape mail day - and, another box of SMOK TF-T8 Octuple fused Clapton coil heads to bring our coil head supply up to eighteen.

@Whiskey, @Kevin H., @Saddletramp1200, @SirVtHondaGuy08 - here we are!

LW & Liz :):)
Sent you a PM and ordered the Octuple claptons per your suggestion.

Keith Emerson is dead. Did his own Brain Salad Surgery, it appears. What a bummer. Chris Squire from Yes, Richard Wright from Floyd...now ELP. Bet Peter Gabriel is next. I was raised on that stuff. They were more my parents than my real ones. I remember skipping school and eating pizza in one of the first microwaves at my friend's house while playing chess on one of the first crappy computers and listening to ELP and Floyd and partying like pisspots. Man those were the days. RIP, Keith.

Mornin gang. Tea and bacon, yadda yadda... :)

Jetson, I had no idea about Chris Squire, when did that happen? How appalling, Yes has been one of my utmost favorites since before I was in double digits (Roundabout came out when I was 9!). Hate to hear about Emerson though; ELP was another big fave.

Saddle did they give you one of those kick ass ice recycler shoulder bra things?

I made breakfast, grilled cherry tomatoes, scrambled eggs ala Ramsey, sauteed mushrooms, onion, sweet peppers on sourdough toast.
That brekkie menu sounds ace. Mine is poached eggs with mushrooms sauteed with spinach and rocket.....veggie chorizo and toast.

Chris Squire was the only plectrum (playing using a pick) bassist that had MONSTER tone; his bassline in 'Roundabout' was stellar.

Keith Emerson and ELP were one of the first bands that featured analog synthesizers as key parts of their musical arrangements.

The Beatles snuck synthesizers in '68-'70; the problem with the early ones was getting them to stay in tune; heat, cold and humidity changes made them unstable pitchwise.

Robert Moog (of Moog Synthesizers) and the techs at ARP Synthesizers in Newton, MA (MIT guys) came up with the first 'auto tune' feature. While they went through the tuning sequence...

...you couldn't play them.

DRAT!

The loss of Chris, Keith, Jon Entwistle - gosh, what a shame.

Four years ago, Bob Welch passed. His version of "Sentimental Lady" (which was first performed by Fleetwood Mac, with Bob Welch in the band) can still make me cry...

RIP, Keith; Chris; Jon, Bob - all of those we've lost. Their music moved us; their lyrics, made us dream - and, shaped our lives between the 60s and 70s.

Time for a mood elevator :(

The eggs done Ramsey style you can find the way he does it on youtube. I took the advice for dill, instead of creme fresh I used plain greek yogurt and a splash of whole milk. To get volume I know this is going to sound funky but the Thai fish sauce does wonderful things to eggs.

The richness of the eggs on the grilled toast is offset with the tomatoes.
Big ole mug of coffee to wash it down.

Getting prepped to go hit the steam room and brunch at sweet tomatoes afterwards.

I'm the same, but the wife falls victim to it.

It can bother my asthma pretty bad, there's just so blasted much dust in the air. Later in the summer when everyone else's allergies have calmed down, I'm red-eyed and sniffing from grass allergy.
