I got mine yesterday too.Mama wasn't the only one to buy stuff today.
I didn't have much luck with the coils. Had little people all day so only had an hour to play while the girls were napping. Super frustrating. I need to get some good wire snips that will get closer to the posts. Watched some more videos on how to build so will give it a try today.

Good morning crew
And a dilemma it is! I spoke with the lab director and lab manager on Thursday, filled out the on-line app Friday. I have a friend that works there and she's been texting me all weekend.... They're VERY excited about me. My current boss also texted me Friday... He "heard" I had an interview and what did they offer me. Well nothing yet, I haven't gotten that far. I really hate the thought of leaving where I am,,, it's so convenient being 3 seconds from my work and I don't work weekends right now (I'm the only one) and the new job is 40 minutes away. But the money,,, every facility around us is paying $10-15/hr more than what we make and administration says we aren't worth it. We've had one persons retire, one has resigned, two more are retiring this summer and three of us are looking elsewhere. That's going to leave about 4 people to staff a 24/7 hospital lab.... Good luck with that. We're all a little bitter. Shit, we're all a LOT bitter. I'm definitely going to peruse it. I have to take care of me, and since admin here says I'm not worth anything I guess they'll be better off without me. Time will tell!!

I find that something usually pops up closer to choice time, that makes everything clearer on what path to take. I feel the cat being out of the bag with the boss, that will probably occur, given his character description you previously provided.
Good morning Pete hope you and Sue are doing well this morning...we are bracing for our second El Nino storm Event out here...supposed to be heavy rain and strong winds starting later on this morning lasting for the next couple of days..right now it's dark and cloudy and about 65°....high surf has people living on the coast scrambling for sandbags. Will be a interesting day today weatherwise

I genuinely like my boss,, he's on our side but he's powerless. It's those above him who make the decisions and they think we're easily replaced. It's not rocket science,,, you pay a full $10/hr less than everyone around... Who's going to come here for what you pay? They'll have to find out for themselves. Very disheartening to be unappreciated.
