Never hit one before, many close calls but today, she wasn't that lucky....hurt me more to know she had to be put down than I cared about my car, I'm funny like that.

I hit a big mule deer outside Orem Utah crossing I-15.. Antlers went right through my radiator... nobody in town had a radiator for a 65 Chevelle so we had to order it. We were stuck in that dang town 3 days..deer can cause alot of damage or even cause a bad accident..especially at 75mph on the interstate... Lol

@always9988 my concert choir teacher moved from a place that had a lot of deer, never had an issue till he got to orange county, almost hit a deer in his driveway, always makes me laugh thinking about that and the whole "killer deer" idea, since I've never seen one here, it's like they were hunting him!

Ehh a bit gamey, I mean I like it, but it's overrated IMO. There's a reason we eat the meat we eat, wild animals are all tough and muscular. Last Thanksgiving we had some Venison, wild turkey, and Foster Farms Turkey, it was nice having it all together to taste the differences, no surprise the fosters farms turkey went first. All of it was great though. The Venison and Wild Turkey needed some gravy is what it was mainly. Maybe cooking it differently? /shrug.
If someone wants to cook me some Venison to prove me wrong, I'd be more than happy to give them the chance

I tried venison jerky, it wasn't bad..always wanted to try elk but still havn't yet..maybe I'll get a chance next time I visit my brother up in WA State...he says elk is good, but he likes antelope too..yuk! lol

Dogfish? You live up by Puget Sound by any chance? I used to catch dogfish out of there years ago...I'm breaking for dinner, knocks, baked beans, potato salad, slaw and 1 or 2 Dogfish Head IPA 120's.
