Hell no.
I left here in 93 it was 78 20% humidity.
Got in shitcago it was 10 at night, 96 100% humidity, a fucking hot fog.
Two months later snow before halloween... WTF
Then left that hellish hole 35 below 6 foot snow drifts and had just got done being 150 degrees colder than here. Colder than Macmurdo station.

NEVER thought IL. was pleasant weather wise.

We fool my son.....by using turkey bacon. He asked about it once.....we lied, and told him that it's regular bacon. He hasn't asked about it since.

The turkey bacon is actually pretty good. It's not as good as regular bacon, but still can fool my kid.
