I really hate daylight savings time changes.
DST didn't use to bother me when I was younger, now it throws me for a loop. I don't care which time they pick, but just pick one and friggin' stay with it for God's sake!
I dunno. The older we get the more the illogic of it gets to us - perhaps that's it.
The real reason why "they" ever came up with this whack job idea is lost to folk lore and old wives tales at this point. (And yes I have heard all the alleged reasons. True or not none of them are sensible.)
No matter what numbers you care to stick on them you still only get the same number of hours of daylight.
It's time (heh) to stop dicking with the numbers.

No winter storms, but there were reports of some snow late last night and a 50% chance of a wintery mix today.

Same here but we are only at "storm watch" status with NOAA so far - no snowfall predictions yet. (Those sensible national weather service peoples they is.)
Biteass cold though. I got 14.9 degrees outside the house right now.
All I can say to that is Oh, hell no!
I'll be up until around 10 or so, then crash out until around 4-5 this evening. Back to work tonight at 10.Am I staying up or not??? I dunno. So... decaf it is.
I usually crash about 6 am and get up at 2 in the afternoon. Gotta overlap at least a few hours with those "normals" and their 9 to 5 office schedules.
