Morning fellow Cornerites!

upload_2016-2-8_10-53-12.png

It's warmer in the Ohio river valley. 46 where I'm at

sent from a dumb operated smartphone

Colder with a light dusting of snow in this part of the valley. Weird.

I think my fave commercial last night was a product I can't remember, but featured a curly headed dude sitting at a bar, talking to a spigot/beer tap.

Morning allo_O. Mondays SUCK!.....Still fighting what's left of my cold:eek:. 26*F here in CT with wind, feels about 15*F. Snowing now, and should be getting about 4 more inches of it throughout the day. Son's school is closed again today, wife's @ work, and the shop just towed my wife's SHITBOX Civic, since I can't get it to start:mad:......and it's NOT the battery. Probably the starter:confused:.....2009 with 33,000 miles on it:rolleyes:. I can't wait to see what's next......and what the bill is going to be for this one:(:rolleyes::confused::mad:! And that's why Mondays SUCK!.....Hope y'all are havin' a better day than me;).

Also now it keeps getting colder and the snow fluffier and more steady then just the light flurries that was happening just a few moments ago. Ugh I hate Indiana

Thanks again @Huckleberried for sending this weather my way

Got to love snow along with car troubles. Makes the towing cost even more. At least around here.
Hopefully they don't make you drop a creditnote to fix the car!

Thanks I.M.N.Y. ......A buddy of mine owns and is mechanic @ the shop. He still has to charge me for the tow and work though. Still going to be MORE than I think that I should have to spend:mad: for an 09 Civic with 33,000 miles on it:rolleyes:. And everyone told me how good Hondas are/were. NEVER again!:(

itsme, this is your future weather speaking. It will warm up a couple degrees and the snow will be gone, just like it is at Huck's house.

*this has been a public service from Ohio Valley future weather*

All im saying is the plant that makes the oil pans for civics/crv/ hondas atvs sucks. They don't give a shit about quality and Honda is about to buy the plant out (owned by Mets corp) and fire everyone in upper management. Honda keeps getting bad parts from the Madison precision plant and is tired of it.

My wife's Civic is assembled in Canada, with a USA made engine, and a Japanese transmission. I should've known that this was going to go severely wrong!

Their engine's are made in Anna Ohio IIRC using parts from Madison precision and their Japan plant then shipped to whatever plant where the cars assembled costly ass process that way

I've owned two Hondas, in the past: An Accord and a CR-V. Both were great vehicles that gave me little trouble. Bought the first one brand new and kept it for thirteen years. Bought the CR-V used, but had that for thirteen years, too, I think. Now I'm hearing rumblings that Honda may be resting on its laurels, at bit, lately.

The main thing is tho I'm not big on the fruity flavors. I like the dark, rich & creamy sorta stuffs and HIC's recipes like the double caramel cappucino or the ferrero rocher just sound marvelous. I'm a big fan of those things we had two big boxes of them in the lobby at work just a couple weeks ago ^_^

I'm the illegitimate love-child of strategy and creativity. Now neither parent admits to having me.
Does anyone have the link for the double caramel Cappucino please?

Thanks!
We are lucky to enjoy good weather generally year round, but spring and fall are the two seasons I love most..We got a lake just 6 mi up the road that recent rains has filled it to capacity.. Great large mouth Bass fishing right now..saltwater fishing has slowed some but should improve come April..
BTW, we have a local NRA shooting range about 8 mi from here..

Except it is cali and they fuck with gun owners, it is their favorite pass time other than going bankrupt and telling everyone else how wonderful the cali way of doing things is much better. (if it really was then why leave in the first place :p)

Going to be 60 here today, but my day started out screwed. Going to bust out the tiger balm, ice and pain meds.

I'm looking at the CRV's too, rather than the Ford escape

I had one from LA that I worked with.
He kept going on and on about how much more advanced and free thinking LA was to Portland. He finally went back.

My family has lived out here in east San Diego county for over 30 yrs..we all own guns and a few of us have concealed weapon permits....nobody is hassled by gun laws, despite what others might think being Cali.. Gasoline is a little pricy compared to the rest of the country and if you don't own your own home rent is really high...but the best thing I like (besides the weather) I can drive 10 mi to the beach, 50 mi to the mountains, and 100 mi to the desert..I like camping in the desert, riding dirt bikes and sand rails (VW dune buggies)..and especially cuddling up with a beautiful girl under the stars...yeah man, its great!

Yes , there IS coffee to save the day:)
No decent pain meds so something needs to.
I mean I DO have something that kills pain dead but can't use till later. Must kinda of function somewhat today.

Funny had to go talk to the rental office about something this morning, moved just right reaching for something and popped my shoulder out in front of the poor office girls, Putting it back was no issue just sounds grisly as hell. They were prepped to call and amberlamps thinking I broke something.

The ones that left there have raised our rents to retard level, lets not talk about housing either.
I love it here, 30-150 miles from a different climate zones also. I need only to walk out my front door and in woods, on an extinct volcano.
Hour west and in coastal rain forest, hour east in the gorge and mountains and go past it into high Desert.
North into another state and can go hiking on Mt. St. Helens.

Fricken ouch, Nasty:(
The shoulder does not hurt it is the collar bones above the breast bone.
About 20 years ago I tripped over a rail switch at work that they swapped out the morning before. I went almost went face first into rolling stock but put my arms out in front to stop myself and went right up and over blowing out my shoulders. They should have xrayed them and my collar bones, found out years later that my collar bones were dislocated along with rotator tears.

No real repair for that is there Nasty?
I would shrug but shit is kinda locked up atm.
No clue other than I think pinning them, at least it is not as bad as my buddy who has to stop working out every couple months and get fat. he packed on so much muscle it pulls his shoulders out of socket.

My brother loves Washington State..
He lived in Randle by the Cowlitz river..
I'd drive up and enjoy some awesome steelhead fishing, good hunting for mule deer and an occasional elk.. Then after St Helens blew he moved up to Bellingham near the Skagit river and still lives there to this very day..It's beautiful up there but the harsh cold snowy winters don't appeal to me much, lol

Bellingham is awesome minus the huge amount of people up there.
Went on a business trip a few years ago and instead of the person driving being smart and waiting a hair we got stuck in Joint base friday traffic. HOLELEEEFUCK.
1.5-2.5 hour trip took 9 hours.
