You aren't taking proper precautions. No ohm meter, starting with dual claptons. You don't learn how to ride a bicycle on a harley. Start simple and get educated on builds and battery safety. You thought your battery was 25a and it was 20a. Things like that is how people get hurt and we are just looking out for you.
im new to building on a mech but i can fucking build some crazy shit on regulated mods. Case and point,
Still got alot to learn and want to start getting into finer guages but on a build for regulated i got thst skill. But i learned in a regulated where their is a saftey net if i go to crazy. My box ust tells me no if i dont work. But on mechs, my skills just are not up their where im confedint that i wont explode. And plus people like chef and a few ithers in the coil porn section put me to shame, so im not trying to toot my own horn so to speak. Just boasting a littlw bit with a dose of humble i guesse.
Im drinking heavily so forgive me if i missed it.
Ill be back in a little bit. Gunna go chill in the mech section and learn some more.

Also i took the advice on a build i hace 6 wraps of 24 at a 3mm id. Its performing a crapton better then the claptons did.
ill have to think about it. I really like how the vcm looks. But ill admit my mech itch has been scratched.

Heavy drinking and building a mech doesn't mix well. Nothing wrong with hanging in the mech section, it's recommended, but sober up to learn your stuff, man. Seriously, people are lookin' out for you.
@boat, hucks speaking 100% truth. If you're drinking put the mech down and don't try to learn about them. Read when you're sober so you take more in and go regulated when drinking.

Hope all are having a lovely evening. I'm fighting with my starre tank, hubby says it tastes fine but I just changed the coil head and it has an odd taste to me. Hoping it just needs broken in ick.
That's fine when you're using a regulated mod, but not fine when using mech.

Proof again why I just need to buy another herakles though. I keep trying new stuff and idk why at this point, just wasting money I guess. The starre is OK don't get me wrong, just can't figure out why it tastes funny.
Again, this is why i love this place.
All im doing now is vapeing it right now.

So build away and wait until tomorrow before you start drinking again and check, test and make sure everything is good to,go before you fire it. Just don't wanna see you become a statistic .
Those damn coils have a longer break-in. I only use the .15ohm nickel coils in mine the beat the ni crown coils. Never did like the regular starre coils....funky taste for like 20mins.

Last thing i want to do is give vaping a bad name. I actualy got ran off my mustang fourm becuase i used vaping to quite smoking. It was worse becuase i started falling into the hobby side of vapeing.

I just got my balrog today.. keep in mind I am a heavy sub ohm dripper kinda guy.. and this thing is actually really nice. Flavor is great and preforms really well for being a little tank. Have to say am thoroughly impressed with this little guy.

Holy fuck. It suprises me how many people have no respect for guns. Only time mine were loaded was at the rang, i was carying with the hammer on a dry chamber. (It was a single action revolver) only time it was ever pointed in anyones general direction was jf i was prepared to end them. (Long story about a time in my life thst i really sont like talking about.)
Ditto. Loving the tank, even though mine is kinda finicky. Speaking of tanks.... @always9988 I ended up PIFing my Starre, I just couldn't get into it. Is the Herakles strictly a DL tank? I hear so many good things about that one.
its a nice little mod. I love mine. Im planing on writing a full review of the thing.

kind of busted up some of the water pump and power steering line
So about 350 if the power steering line was the return line and about 425 if it was the pressure line. All becuase you were mad at it?

My tank leaks a little bit when I fill it. I take off the AFC, dry off the bottom really well, close it back off completely, then fill. Then I have to keep my eye on it and clean it up a bit, because it always leaks a little after that. The flavor, though! I'll put up with the ritual, I've had a bit of time to get used to it. A couple people have said the same, while others have had no leaks at all.

i just took the airflow ring off. Im not to impressed with the tc coil but the power coils are great for flavor. And it has a decent cloud for a tank. I get a little weepage when i fill but nithing horible. a
I think the original? Got it from halo, basically rebranded starre tank. Was trying to support the folks that helped me quit, and they were having a sale.
Ugh so its not just me. I haven't liked tc so far
and bought 2 packs of kanthal coils. DamnitI think it depends on how you use it really. With the stock drip tip its a bit different than the slammed 510 tip I use. I kinda go back and forth between dl and mtl depending on my nic craving, the juice I'm using, and the airflow etc. There is a good airflow in it and can change it from barely any to a ton, based on preference. But I've found it really shines at 50-60w with the .6 coils personally. It can go higher or lower if you like more heat, but for 99% of my juices (mostly desserts) its perfect somewhere in there.
The best part is I can't get it to dry hit at all until 80+ watts. I got this after hating everything about the subtank because it was constantly dry or burnt (I'm a chain vaper) and it was a night and day difference. And so far haven't had any leaks, I drop it in my purse several times a day and leave it on its side and everything lol
