He was one of the first "vape wire" companies and he set his own price. Its one of the cleanest composition wires of Kanthal and Nichrome80. If you find it that expensive than I would suggest using Kidneypuncher, PureAtomist, or Coilsociety wire...they are very similar between them all and the pricing varies
Another point I was thinking about. Not to mention all of the OGs are using his wire which all helps the image. Dont get me wrong bless the man for his success. I just wanted to know is his wire prices nearly double because of hype or because it truly is superior wire but I have learned that its not so I will be buying accordingly.

Wire very clean, prices are superb but the spooling... well I cant say its perfect but its nothing to complain about either I feel. I felt no kinks in the wire but when building with thinner wire I would often hear the wire catch against itself. Hopefully I am making sense but to sum up I have had zero issues with this wire.
I also have several spools of Masters of Clouds Ni80 24, 26, 28 which appear to be well spooled and wire is also clean. My only down side again if you can call it a downside is that their actual plastic spool only has 1 small hole to hold the wire and it does a poor job at that. Unless you have a spool tamer, this may be a problem.

Search "Resistance Heating Wire" on ebay and you will find items under the seller "Kingorchid". View his other items. His wire is Sandvik just like Kidneypuncher but he only carries Nichrome and Kanthal D (only seller besides Temco that has Kanthal D also) and the wire is high quality, VERY inexpensive(as cheap as Kbee), and is the best spooled wire Ive used yet. I use it for my more intricate build because the spooling and quality of the wire there arent any issues that Im faced to deal with and that makes it go much more smoothly.
You can pick up 1000ft Spool of 38g, 40g, or 46g Kanthal D or Nichrome (40g) from him for $8, 100ft 28g Nichrome for $3, and he ships in minutes after purchase every time.
This wire lasts a LONG time also, the Kanthal D will last almost a year with every day use and regular cleaning...alot of the people that have bought coils from me on the forum can attest to that.
Give it a try, you will see...I wish he had SS wire and .3 Ribbon and I seriously wouldnt shop anywhere else...
Hard to understand what you're asking. Did you order crazy wire fused clapton or is Crazy Wire the brand name of the wire and it's a spool of fused clapton?

They are ok, the wire isn’t always the cleanest though especially the kanthal...I use them a lot as they are relatively inexpensive, but that Clapton wire will get the job done for you
Best place I’ve bought wire from in UK is from stealthvape but you don’t get as much for the price and you’re limited by stock most of the time.

My Crazy Wire 36g and 38g Nichrome80 spools all had several kinks in the wire. In addition, I had to use a small piece of masking tape to secure the wire each time before I let the wire naturally untwist itself by letting the spool dangle underneath my table or else it would just tangle itself up right away so it was absolute horror TBH.

I purchased a wire ready from this company (Crazy Wire Nichrome80 ) fused clapton spools )
and I noticed the following
1- The wire does not become blue
2- Cotton burns quickly even in a few watt 30 to 35
3- Maximum usage is only two days
4- A bad experience Unfortunately with this company I hope you will re-offer high quality products in the future

I'm not sure if any said jacobsonline.biz they are pretty fair price for us folks only thing is no ribbon wire.BUT imo they are affordable and pretty quick on shipping..cleanliness of the wire I always clean my coils before so I can't really tell but this us just another choice

Jacobs is EXCELLENT wire. Pure Sandvik. There are some other companies around saying they're using Sandvik, but they aren't. I've tried them and can absolutely 100% guarantee that most of them ARE NOT Sandvik. Jacobs and KP are the only two companies that I buy wire from at this point.

Limited experience with wire but I have tried a few so here goes.
Damn Killer: tried their spooled alien Clapton wire and had two issues. 1) it's NOT true alien wire. It's a .3x.8 flat ribbon wrapped with 32GA. Just a flat Clapton really. 2) the flavor was absolute shit. The only thing I liked about the wire was that it was easy to wrap and held its shape well, that's it.
CoilArt: have only tried their version of pre-wrapped alien coils. My only issue was that they were not alien coils. Same as the DK wire (.3x.8 32GA). However, the flavor was really nice with those coils and the resistance was spot on. Definitely enjoyed them.
UD: tried their uber cheap pre-wrapped Clapton's (26GA X 32GA, I think) and they are surprisingly decent for what I use them for. I use these cheapies in the rta I have set up for juice with nicotine and they do me right. Because I use them in an OBS nano tank I unwrap the coils ( legs are backasswards for that Atty) and re-wrap around a 3mm bit for six wraps @ .8 ohms. Taste is actually kinda nice.
Advanced Vape Supply: about two weeks ago I purchased a 30ft spool of their 30GAx4/40GA wire and cannot say enough good things about it. Resistance is spot on, ramps quick ( even on a 4mm with 6 wraps ), works great in TC/Power/CCW modes and the flavor is awesome! I think the spool was about $23 USD for 30ft, IIRC. Lol, that's less than .40¢ per coil I build and being SS and the fact I'm not a moron ( I think, maybe, I dunno), those coils I made will last me for a while. Not sure when I'll need to buy wire again, lol. I like their SS enough to stick with buying from them for the foreseeable future whether it be pre-made wire or purchasing different gages to make my own multi-core wire.
Anyway, that's the limited experience I have to offer for now. Hope it helps, somebody, anybody? Eh, I digress and don't know why. Really do enjoy building though and don't ever want to see another tank with a pre-installed coil again. Building is definitely for me.

Yeah man, I've become a fan of AVS's SS. I'm still relatively new to the game but I really like what they have to offer and the flavor coming off their SS wire is fantastic. Thinking about trying their twisted fused Clapton's next time for my dual coil Atty's.
Haven't tried anything from coil master but after seeing their shit so heavily promoted by some reviewers, I'm sick of hearing about them.
As a side note: dig the hair dude, that's bad ass.

The cost for one spool was about $11 including shipping for 1,000 ft of the 40 and 46 (each)

i am just going to add a +1 for lightning vapes. I used to use AVS exclusively. But I wanted to try LV to see if there was a difference.
No difference in taste buying clapton and fused clapton SS wire from either. They vape identically.
Here are the 3 differences I noticed

I haven't tried TM or KP so I can't compare these other brands, but I have heard great things about TM. I live in Europe, and the shipping cost for sending premium wire from the USA to my place is almost never cheap... I am very satisfied about the quality of Wireworks. Not only the quality of the wire itself, but also the spooling techniques are perfect IMO, and, for advanced coil builds, spooling techniques can make all the difference. I think it is a huge improvement when compared to CrazyWire Company. Another thing I love about Wireworks is that they also have 27g, 29g, and .3×.1 ribbon because these sizes used to be hard for me to find where I live.

i just received AtomizerWick, really disappointed about their Wrap, too crunchy and hard, i dont know is it Ni80 or not, i cant do alien coil, it break of all the times and if i lucky i only can do clapton or fused clapton without break off really disappointed

What experience do you have with other brands of wire? What gauge is it? How are you unsure if it is nichrome? How are you making the coils?
i tried LightningVapes, TwistedMesses, Kidney Puncher and some China brands, i make alien coil like normally, do clapton wire, get that clapton wrap and stretch it, with other brands i do it just fine and everything work but with AtomizerWick it break off right after i stretching clapton wire

I am about to order more ribbon, even though I have over 200ft left of 0.3 kanthal Coil Society. I am going to reorder from Kbee wholesale, and this is why:
I suspect that Coil Society's 0.3 kanthal ribbon has been pre-stretched. It comes off the spool *more or less straight* but has much more tension to stretch/straighten it than Kbee's, and even after stretching Coil Society's ribbon it is not *straight*. It feels weaker somehow, and will not get perfectly straight like Kbee, that's why I think it's already been stretched or deformed somehow. I also always have at least one piece in a ribbon stack that looks off, not totally crooked but Off, inconsistent. My 6 spools of Kbee 0.3 were perfect, so I'm going back to them. Just for ribbon, though, not anything else.
I'm also going to look elsewhere besides Temco for 36g nichrome, if I ever need to order more - rough spooling, hard to clapton consistently sometimes

Both of my spools of round wire from Coil Society though, 29g SS326L and 42g kanthal, are awesome. It's just like they bought 0.4 ribbon though and stretched the shit out of it, I have no proof of that, just a vague theory.

The most complex stuff I built for years was your basic 2 core fused claptons. It has only been the last few months that I delved into anything more complicated. Crazy Wire-
I've ordered approx 3k feet of wire from Crazy Wire and about 1/2 of the spools had something or another screwed up. The kenthal is almost always dirty. The Ni80 seems to be acceptable. The fine wire tends to have kinks. At least 1/2 of the 36g and up end up breaking, or at the very least I can feel the kinks as they slide across my fingers. And the ribbon .... their spooling is just wretched on their ribbon. Kinks every few feet, spools are entirely to small so the ribbon comes off massively curved. And the last spool I got from them actually had a strand about 4 or so feet right in the middle that was spooled in the opposite direction of the rest. Took me like 20 mins to unthread it all and still ended up loosing a few feet of wire for it AND ended up with a ton of wire loose on the spool now (third picture is of the ribbon spool where you can see 3 cut ends coming off of it --- https://www.instagram.com/p/Bk356-iDVHa/?taken-by=wpmac10). I have tried twice (over the course of a couple months) to email them with no response. I called them out on an instagram post the other day and they finally responded asking me to DM them. I have yet to contact them and I'm not sure I am even going to. Their customer service is crap ... their spooling is crap. The wire itself seems to be acceptable quality (after cleaning the kenthal that is), and the price is reasonable. Shipping was an arm and a leg since I'm in the US. And I've noticed there are lots of places that do free shipping to the US. I am the kind of guy who will give you a more chances than you deserve. But once I've had my fill, I'm done with you. Well they have had 3k+ feet and 2 months worth of chances, and I think I'm going to invest in a slightly higher priced wire.

Been lurking this site for a couple years now. Figured I'd throw my 2cents in on this subject. I am not a wire connoisseur. The most complex stuff I built for years was your basic 2 core fused claptons. It has only been the last few months that I delved into anything more complicated. So take my input with a grain of salt. But I do have things to share that might mean something to someone
Crazy Wire-
I've ordered approx 3k feet of wire from Crazy Wire and about 1/2 of the spools had something or another screwed up. The kenthal is almost always dirty. The Ni80 seems to be acceptable. The fine wire tends to have kinks. At least 1/2 of the 36g and up end up breaking, or at the very least I can feel the kinks as they slide across my fingers. And the ribbon .... their spooling is just wretched on their ribbon. Kinks every few feet, spools are entirely to small so the ribbon comes off massively curved. And the last spool I got from them actually had a strand about 4 or so feet right in the middle that was spooled in the opposite direction of the rest. Took me like 20 mins to unthread it all and still ended up loosing a few feet of wire for it AND ended up with a ton of wire loose on the spool now (third picture is of the ribbon spool where you can see 3 cut ends coming off of it --- https://www.instagram.com/p/Bk356-iDVHa/?taken-by=wpmac10). I have tried twice (over the course of a couple months) to email them with no response. I called them out on an instagram post the other day and they finally responded asking me to DM them. I have yet to contact them and I'm not sure I am even going to. Their customer service is crap ... their spooling is crap. The wire itself seems to be acceptable quality (after cleaning the kenthal that is), and the price is reasonable. Shipping was an arm and a leg since I'm in the US. And I've noticed there are lots of places that do free shipping to the US. I am the kind of guy who will give you a more chances than you deserve. But once I've had my fill, I'm done with you. Well they have had 3k+ feet and 2 months worth of chances, and I think I'm going to invest in a slightly higher priced wire.
Lightning Vapes-
Never ordered direct from them. I use it as fill in when I'm out since it's what my local vape shop sells. Never had a problem with it though the largest spool I've ever gotten has been 25 feet. Never had any of their ribbon.
I will probably look at KBee next as I have a number of friends that seem to like it a lot. I will throw out my experience with them after a few orders.

Spooled backwards? Lmao, Crazy Wire indeed!
I can vouch for KBee low gauge kanthal (28 and down) and 0.3 kanthal ribbon - I will not vouch for any higher gauges, all I tried had greasy dark stuff on them and I think the spools were shorter than advertised. Heard other people have had problems with various other wires from them
Kingorchid on ebay has some great prices for kanthal D and nichrome, and every spool I've gotten was perfectly spooled, and all but one (a long time ago) have been clean

I’ve had that with a few ribbon spools from crazy wire ...it’s like a sodding weave getting it off the spool sometimes and agree their kanthal is always dirty ...but it’s cheap get what you pay for I guess ....still manage to make staples etc with it just stretch it out before use
...wish we had access to the wire sources the Americans do id love to try KP wire, best wire source for UK at the moment is stealth vape but they are always out of the stuff I need
