I likes Maths.
It makes people cry.

rdr^2

Kewl. We are completely opposite brain types!! Of course I suspected that when you said you were spring cleaning :teehee: j/k Chemistry is interesting, but I am allergic to math! So all 3 go down the drain for me. I didn't have to take "chemistry in Respiratory, but we did chemistry of course, and we did have to take a physics class that was geared toward Respiratory. Took every brain cell I could beg borrow or steal and I barely made it through that one by the skin of my teeth. How I got a C I'll never know, but I wouldn't rule out divine intervention! :teehee:

Ok.............where is everyone lately?????

I love those subjects and do my best to keep brushed up and studying them as much as possible on my own. I did really well with them when I was actually taking classes and actually turned it into a pretty decent tutoring gig for a while there but havent had the time lately.

And yeah!!!!! Its like a ghost town in here lately! Whiskey tango foxtrot?!?!?!?

I've been bouncing around a little these days. No big vape news other than everything is working, which probably is vape news these days.

Me too as far as the vapey bits go. Everything is working and I'm not on a quest for 29 more attys. Only thing in my sights right now is a Reo P67 as soon as they are ready. (Which should be any day now.)

I could make a political comment on that but will refrain :)

I can only imagine! :giggle::giggle::giggle:

kewlios!! On both counts. Am glad he's gonna be having these regularly. I've got a hammer tone in my sights for someday. :D

Who is up on your roof?!?!?!? Lets git em!
Sorry I disappeared last night. I was pretty exhausted for some reason so I called it early! Hope you had a good night!
lmao. Probably some big critter. They left though. No biggie. Glad you got some rest. I've learned to sleep when I'm tired. I've been sleeping in 2-4 hour snatches lately, but that happens sometimes. At one point over the last few days I was up 36 hrs, but then I slept some. That's also fairly "normal" for me.

My dil's father's surgery went very well. Didn't last as long as they expected, and my son said it went very well. That's all I know so far, so praise God for that!!

I'm a SL TRA guy myself.
I've never seen one of those in person, but haven't seen a HT in person either, it just calls to me. Dunno, but just seems like the TRA would get more slickery from juice or palm sweat. I like SL doors, but not as fond of the SL bodies.

How do you make a Reo not work?
Take the battery out! Not too many other ways.

How do you make any mech not work? I believe there are exactly 3 answers to this question....

1) As Deb suggested take the battery out
2) Take the atomizer off/disconnect it or the coil somehow
3) Give it to a punk who wants to build at .01ohms or lower becuz "cloudz brah"!!!!

Glad to hear everything went well and took less time than they thought it would. Last summer I had to go for surgery to get a tumor removed from behind my right ear. The surgeon told me it should only be about a 45 minute surgery, it ended up taking 3 hours.

Good morning Deb!

I surely will be doing an egg hunt on Sunday morning. The best kind too....peanut butter eggs!!!!!! YUM! Poor girl....she's gonna have to compete with daddy on getting her eggs from that nutty bunny! :giggle::giggle::giggle:

Its a busy weekend for the 2 of us. Lots on the go today and tomorrow before she goes back to her moms on Sunday morning.

Fun story alert! Fun story alert!!!!!
Wednesday at the grocery store we were meandering around the bread section looking for some bagels. All of a sudden she gets very excited and starts grabbing at my leg yelling "Lets go see the slobs Daddy!!!!!!" There were quite a few people around who all started looking at us both, some giving some not so pleasant looks. I got equally excited with her and said "What slobs? Where are the slobs?" To which she replied "Over there silly" while pointing over towards the seafood section. I look over and see the huge tank...."OHHHHH Lobsters!!!!!" I exclaimed with all the onlookers laughing. "Yeah lets go quick!!!!" she says, so off we go to the lobster tank. We spent about 15 minutes looking at them and playing with them. Too bad I had to work or I would have bought one and made a lobster dinner for her.

The TRA isn't a slippy finish. (In case Garth is wondering what the hell we are talking about that would be: Tumbled Raw Aluminum.) It has a a bit of a matte feel to it. I like TRA because no matter what you do to it you can always buff out scrapes and dings.

But I do have a HT (Uh Garth: Hammer Tone) and I like that too. That's a 2.0 mini I bought from Oldbroad.

As far as SL (Garthypoo: Super Light. It has holes in it. You're getting learned in Reonese.) I do like 'em but don't have one yet. Weird as it may seem it would be a SL/LP in red if (okay - when) I do that.

Take the battery out! Not too many other ways.

Not on purpose anyway.

Nope. Reos is punk proof. The battery spring will collapse if you try to do anything stupid. Ruined the Reo? Nope - just buy a new battery spring.

Yummmmmm pnut butter eggs! Good thing I'm not there, or I'd give you a run for YOUR money on em! Cept I can't run :D

Hilarious story! As to funny looks, when my son was little and someone would ask about his daddy, he'd say...... "my daddy is in prison" I'd then need to explain that his dad worked at a prison. He had the keys and got to go home at night hehehe

As to mistaking words...... he came in one day and said.......mama......I'm gonna go play with the little grill. In that we had a hibachi on the porch, I told him no he couldn't play with, the little grill was dirty. He looked so hurt and said, mama the little grill isn't dirty. A few more back and forths over the little grill.......finally I said........show me the little grill. He took me outside and pointed to a little girl out there

and LP is low profile which means the catch cup is milled down to fit any size atomizer. But who's Garth? hehehe

and that's how it begins!!! :D Seriously, I wouldn't have a mech other than a Reo because they are just a lot safer than other mechs. Once I learned how to build coils and got used to it.......there isn't a more simple vape out there! Building coils, with a good coil jig if you can turn a handle and thread a needle you can make great coils! and I can't really even thread a needle cuz I can't see the eye well enough anymore.

Seriously department:

Rob uses a battery spring in the design that will pancake in a split second if you do something nassty like a dead short. It may also sag - not completely pancake - if your build goes silly low and still break the connection. For "normal" use it's good down to about 0.2 ohms.

I know some people on VU take exception to using a collapsible spring like that in the design, usually combined with saying something like "I have a brain and use it so I don't need a spring." Last I checked brains weren't idiot proof either so...

I'll take that spring as a safety feature any day.

Naw...the little one showed up and we're drawing a card for Grandma before heading over to make egg nests out of rice crispies squares.

Ive been building and dripping on single tube mechs since 2 months after I started vaping. I only very recently got in to regulated devices and they are pretty cool and all, but I will ALWAYS love my tube mechs. Thats not to say I'll never try squonking...in fact I might have just enough to splurge on a decent little mod at the end of the summer so who knows...a reo might just be my first squonker.

I never got the hang of using the coil jigs. Personally I prefer the tried tested and true drill bit method. Lately Ive been messing around with braided coils and fused claptons and other fancy stuff(a-la puff the magic dragon ;) )

As confident as I am with my building ability and my mech use and battery knowledge, I would always appreciate a safety feature in any mech....unless it actually affected performance.

Well that's one of the things they bitch about regarding the spring in a Reo, yet no one ever cites what this alleged performance drop might be. Geez - it's a solid aluminum body, gold plated contacts & spring, and all metal to metal contact points. Someone please actually measure the performance issue here and get back to me on that.

Just chalk that up to me bein a idjit! lol forgot you build already. That's the objection I probably get most from folks. :D

I knew there was no way I would have the patience to drip, so squonker it was. And if I was gonna squonk, it was gonna be a Reo. Just didn't feel safe with anything else. Most that have tried tube mechs, then Reos will say that performance is better on a Reo. At least the ones I've heard mention it. I think it's the porky dust he sprinkles on em! :p (He lives in Maine and has many porcupine visitors)

Given the materials used I cant imagine much in the way of a drop from the spring unless you short it.

I wouldnt say Im objecting, if anything the only reason I dont have a squonker is because of a lack of funds. Someday though....someday!!!!

I hear ya. There are some cheap squonkers if you ever just wanted to try it to see if squonking is for you. Either the pico squeeze, or a copper vape from FT. Pretty sure either can be had for less than $30 the pico squeeze usually comes with a coral atty and everyone I've heard says that it sucks, so if you can find one without for less that would be good, but I think most get the kit and toss the coral. lol

You do realize you dodged a bullet there. If you brought the lobster home it would have become an instant pet. No way she would have let you drop it into a pot of boiling water. :)

Personally I think the Coppervape is a great choice for an inexpensive pure mech squonker.
The Pico Squeeze isn't bad, but the RDA it comes with isn't very good. It is unregulated, but with protection, at least for reverse polarity. Not sure about any other protection.

Hahaha...you might be right. Although she does have a lot of the chef in her. She'd probably be more like "cool, he's making noises!!!!"

Yeah, that could go very wrong.

Literally Homers greatest idea ever...ill buy a 1lb lobster, let it grow to a 25lb lobster and eat the profits:giggle::giggle::giggle:
