Again, document it. Posting your dated certs on-site will inspire buyer confidence.
And lot numbers.... even bottling dates are an absolute requirement.

HTH

It actually is posted on our website.

I noticed E Clouds Vapes has the same address as ChemNic. I wonder if ChemNic just buys 100mg from other Nic vendors ? That would explain the nicotine inconsistency.

Jim our parent company is J&D Tech Group, llc. We own a variety of businesses including our vape shops. We've been in the vaping industry for over 3 years making our own ejuice. The address you refer to is our home office. I'm not sure how that would give you the idea we buy 100mg from other vendors then redistribute it. That would be pointless. We began purchasing pure nicotine then redistributing via ChemNic in order to cut cost. Other than the two people in this thread we've never received complaints about inconsistency. We sell hundreds of bottles to many juice makers including other vape shops. I'm not saying that everyone has always liked our nicotine but, those who haven't are less than a handful. With all due respect, some of the people on this forum beat all I've ever seen. It's like they're haters and are always out to bring someone down. I don't know if it's jealously or what. Just doesn't make any sense to me. But, that's probably because I try to encourage people instead demeaning them.

Well I am unable atm to test the liter I received.
I look at it this way.
SHIT HAPPENS
You can sell 1 billion bottles of NIC and not have a problem then sell 50 bad ones because of some mix up.
If my liter tastes good Im HAPPY and care less what others say.

@teresap said it was good, thats enough for me to buy the liter at the price it was at with the coupon. And if there is an issue, I am sure @ChemNic will address it with me privately in emails not on a damn public forum.
Then I can post on a public forum that Yes I had a problem and here is how chem nic handled my problem.

But atm I have no issue and am a happy customer. BUt seeing how a couple people had an issue, Yes I am concerned and will check my nic.when I can

Personally I dont need test results or none of that stuff, CUZ I WOULDNT UNDERSTAND IT.
As far as the member sin this thread chem nic
whiskey is whiskey
amandad is usually a very very very very nice, well informed DIY'er if she says the test was off it was off. She is far from nay sort of trouble maker imho
and the same is true for HUCK

Sharkvape does like to stir pots as well, and so do I some days, but hes a very open minded well informed person

In regards to labels
the only label I would suggest is a Date of Manufacturer for the PURE NIC - you know the stuff you buy from india
and a MIX DATE.

An expiration date is useless. Depends on how its stored and treated
A batch number is mainly for your use not mine. I dont need a batch number. All I need to know is...IF THERE IS AN ISSUE you will deal with it in a way that makes us both happy

And in terms of color and smell

Even VT Premium nic that I paid $125 for a liter has an earthy smell when new.
And color???????? Well this whole bleaching things makes sense to me. is it true....I dont know. I do know the nic select nic I bought went from almost crystal clear to orange in my freezer in 2 months? IS IT BAD? sort of kinda. its stronger now. SO I make juice at 3mg instead of 6mg and it tastes the same

BUt my VT premium is starting to turn darker after 3 or 4 months in the freezer, And tastes exactly the same as the day it was new.

SO I have no idea if color means shit..everything i read says it's an indicator of going bad. But who knows, Not me

Just for the record, I received my nic last week as well and it was fine. It was virtually colorless and had relatively little discernible odor. At present I'm out of reagents in which to test the potency so I can't speak to that aspect however, I will do so when I get some more supplies in. That said, given the above and Teresa P's results, I'm fairly comfortable it will test out to an acceptable degree.

I was going to wait and post my experience after also having taste tested the nic but given the circumstances, I thought I should at least provide the information I already had at hand. I will follow up with additional information as I am able.

Jim our parent company is J&D Tech Group, llc.

I got a package from them today!

Inside was the free bottle of the Fruit Rings flavor I choose in your kind earlier offer.

Thank You!

While it may be a while until I get a chance to mix it, I will do my best to post my review.

I don't post much as evidenced by my post count, but I have lurked here since the forum opened.

Let me relate my experience. I ordered a free sample, based on this thread, and made some juice. It seemed fine, with no odd taste or smell.
I did not notice any coloring to the nic. It came in an amber bottle, and no off color was noticed while it was in the syringe.

So based on this, I ordered a gallon in 50/50 pg/vg. After the order was placed the negative posts about color and smell started to appear. I started to worry that I had made a mistake. The comments about heat during shipping were particularly a concern. Heat does not cause oxidation, oxygen does. Heat can speed the oxidation reaction in the presence of O2 via enhanced diffusion. If the bottles are back filled with argon, then the only O2 present should be the stuff already dissolved in the solution.

My bottle shipped June 1st, and arrived yesterday, June 8th. 1 full week in a hot ups truck. The weather here has been high 80's to low 90's during that time. The bottle was left at my front door at 4pm. I returned home at about 5pm and measured the temperature of the bottle, 86 F. I opened the bottle and took a look. Inside the bottle looked terrible, brown and nasty, much like the pictures posted earlier. I was pretty bumbed out and walked away letting it cool.

Four or five hours later, I opened the bottle and poured a sample into a beaker. It was not nearly as colored as it appeared in the bottle. A slight brown/tan coloring. I transferred this sample to a clear 30ml boston round bottle. It appeared even less colored in this bottle.

I compared this to the nic I have been using from Heartland. The Heartland nic is about 4 months old, It has been stored in a mini-fridge. I keep about 100 ml at room temp for use. The Heartland nic I used for comparison has been in that partially filled bottle at room temp for about a month. The color of the chem nic is very similar to Heartland. I think the chem nic is slightly darker, but to tell the truth, if the bottles were mixed up it would be hard to tell.

The smell of each bottle is also very similar. I mixed a 50 ml of my all day vape, and so far I am happy with it.

I will order some bottles and break the gallon down for storage, back filled with argon. The color in the bottle is so pronounced, it makes me wonder if the plastic itself isn't discolored by its interaction with the nic. Once I empty the bottles I will take a look.

Note, If I wasn't happy with the purchase, I would have sent this in email, before posting publicly.

So thank you guys for pointing out a good product, and screw you guys for making me worry about it for days.

Did anyone get the Strawberry Greek Yogurt? Looking to see if it needs to be steeped and what percentage to mix it at? Recommended usage is 15% - 20% but thats a big range.

Start with 15%. It's pretty much a shake and vape but, it will get better in a couple days. None of our recipes are designed to need steeping. Having said that, that doesn't mean they won't get better after a few days.

ok so I should have time to test my nic out this weekend and will post results
did receive my free sample of cinnamon danish flavor as well. I will make a test batch this weekend as well. and post my thuoghts.

THANK YOU @ChemNic for the sample.

I am glad to hear others are finding the nic they received to be in good shape.

@tcg If i read your post correctly...you said you were going to break down your gallon and back fill it with argon yourself?? If that is indeed what you are doing, could you explain the process and materials needed to do so?

wow relatively quiet in here suddenly

ok
so CInnamon apple danish flavoring. VERY VERY VERY GOOD. I dont taste a lot of apple though
Questions on it
1. is it DA/Ap free?
2. is it all PG based?
3. what is the specific gravity of it?

My nicotine liter
i just took it out of the freezer.
Its VG so its thick thick thick thick

I opened bottle no odor
I squeezed the bottle and a solid portion just slide out the opening and guess what?

CRYSTAL CLEAR

Ill let it thaw and test it with my ADV and see
but Im suspecting its PERFECTLY FINE

@Mattp169

To the best of my knowledge it is DA/AP free. I will need to check the recipe when I get back to the office on Monday. I made that flavor but, I honestly can't recall. I do sometimes use flavors that contain Diacetyl. I'm not a believer in the whole popcorn lung hype.
I have no idea about the gravity. I mix by volume.
It is completely pg based flavoring.
Glad you're enjoying it.

slightly brown tint
very very slight that is

earthy odor like all other nics i have had

tastes fine to me
but there is a hair of a TH I am not used to form VT premium

so its the same as my sample

im going to leave a few mls out for ixing since im low and refreeze the rest

Thank you! Unfortunately, we're having a heat wave and a half here, that's why I seldom order nicotine in the summer. :( ... I do not trust the USPS in their handling of my fluids when it's hot (not really much any other time of the year either), and I would never open myself up have unfounded reason to complain.

So no one south of the mason Dixon line should order nic?
Glad I get mine through the shop

Truthfully, not a good idea. Hate to say it, but with temps in the 90s and a heat index that puts it even higher than that, plus sitting God knows where on several mail truck for who knows how long.....not a recipe for freshness and a quality end user product, that's for sure. Good weather for ordering juice that needs steeping though!

I was thinking maybe a refrigerated truck would be nice....lol! We don't have a shop close to here that sells nic, or that would be a good summer option.

they don't sell the nic normally, th owner is a long time personal friend since he orders everything bulk I'll pay him for a portion.
Ensures I always have fresh flavoring, nic and vg
Also lets limit the time I'm in diy or wasting money- saved me from FW flavoring

That's definitely cool that you're able to do that, sounds like a great guy! I ordered nic in July once, fortunately it was only a small 60ml to try from a vendor I hadn't dealt with. Of course it got lost in the mail and by the time I got it with a heat index of over 100 here and ridiculous humidity, it looked more like someone had peed in the bottle. Will never make that mistake again....

If it weren't for that access, I would freak out about the diy. With all the opposite opinions and arguing back here, I wouldn't know who to buy what from, more less what time of year. Knowing that heat is an issue and I live in the dirty south, I would be able to order juice once a year. Hahaha - always one more thing

Given that another customer's nic was pretty well oxidized when she picked it up right after delivery, that is one tough issue. I guess I got lucky with a three liter order I placed a couple weeks ago with another vendor. I used UPS, and as I couldn't be home when they delivered to my sunny front porch, I left them a note to place it in the back in the shade. Thankfully they did and the nic is fine.

This issue may be a problem for many of us in the upcoming 50 days. Guess we have to watch for a cool spell in the weather forecast!

Thanks for the suggestions. As I stated previously, we back fill our nicotine with argon. After seeing some of the issues posted here, I've been on a mission to find out whether or not there's anything more we can do. Apparently, while argon helps, it, in and of itself, isn't completely sufficient. As a result, we will be making a few changes in the next week. I will post once the results are in.

Give me a week or so to check out the new process before you order. I think we have it figured out.
Good, cuz I have a birthday coming up in less than three weeks and the hubby wants to know what to get me....:D....lol!
