Lost Vape Triade DNA250

hey boost, question? what is that black leather or elephant leather triade you purchased?thanks bro.The 510 is great on the new 250. No problem with any of my rda's or tanks
Agreed, most places call the Elephant, Elephant. It seems like Ecig calls it Black. I've noticed different places call them different things. I wish there was standardized naming with a pic from LV showing which color is which. That would be too easy and we can't have that (it would make too much sense
).Most places call the Purple, Purple Ostrich. Ecig calls it Purple. They seem to have different names for some of the colors than most other places. For instance they have both Grey and Cowhide which are the same ones called different names at most places.

i asked because i like this mod so much that i ended up purchasing my second one yesterday, and i chose the elephant black. as a backup, lol. i should be recieving it by friday hopefully. and i cant wait. i want to say thanks(wings and boost), for all your help. you all is what makes this place so great. vape on.

My tirade 200 has been through the mill. The leather peeled within a month. It was red now looks blackish. The ONLY problem I'm having is the triangular 510 is loose. I've tried tightening but the screws are so tiny I can't tell what to use to get tight. It makes attys wiggle and bugs me.
Ive tried to take care of it but I use it daily. Work, home.....I always have it. It's my security blanket. It's held up well for what it's been through.
Will the battery door for the 250 fit the 200? Does anyone know how to tighten the 510 platform? The 250 looks great, I'm envious. What you gonna do with the extra 50 watts? I never vape over 120 anyways. Reckon I bought a 200 just because I could lol.

To tighten the screws you need a torx screwdriver or key, not sure but I think it's T5
Here's a cheap set...I can confirm it's a T5 later, if nobody else does.

I am not trolling okay! I do not see how this can be real hides. Do you guy's know how much those exotic hides cost? Although it is possible I guess. In China anything goes except maybe a Panda.
I have an issue though with both the 200 and 250. It self drains batteries on me. Anyone else notice this? If I am letting it mostly sit I get 1/2 hour out of HG2's. If I use it constantly like 5 hours. I think these were really designed for Lipo. Plus it can be finicky as to battery insertion. Many times have to pull them and reinsert to get it to work. I really don't mind though.

The 250 doesn't have the battery rings which can cause a mod to be finicky. You obviously don't have a 250 so why are you posting that in the 250 thread? I have two Triade 250's and neither one drains the batteries when not in use. As a matter of fact none of mt DNA mods do that. If they did they would be defective I would open up a ticket with Evolv.

I could have figured on the usual suspects to jump right in. You guy's are special. You have special things no one else has. You should feel special. You guy's are so special. The truth is if you guy's could afford a good custom mod you would not be so protective of this Chinese rubbish. I felt that way with the Reuleaux DNA200. For some reason my Triade doesn't feel like that to me. In fact I'm actually carrying it today and I'm out and about.
I'm not sure what you consider not much difference in battery life but a triple 18650 DNA200/250 mod gets 50% longer runtime then a dual 18650 DNA200/250. I consider that quite a big difference. YMMV
I can kill my Vt133 in 8 hours with 2 -30Q's. I never been able to kill my Triade in one day using 3 -30Q's. I usally vape 3-4 tanks a day, using the 7ml Supreme
Mine also. Never thought I'd find one that would have all day battery for my chain vaping truckdriving arse.

Same here have the Triade 200 and gave my LG browns a fresh charge and put it away for around 6 weeks using other mods.... pulled it out and vaped the whole day (30 ml) and still had charge left.I have two Triade 250's and neither one drains the batteries when not in use. I'm set for mods but if I ever find this 250 for $110 to$115 I will buy it in a heartbeat!
I found another odd bug in the 250. Maybe just mine. Don't know. I will put in fully charged batteries and the meter will show 3/4. After a few fires it will show full.
i wanted to say something. You guys got me wrong but I did this to myself here. I could care less about the paint or any cosmetics. I park Super cars at Walmart where shopping carts slam into them. These are not important things. Your loved ones are. In fact all of Humanity and the Animal Kingdom. Material things mean nothing. Regardless of if you are rich or poor they mean nothing. To be honest damage of material things upsets me in the least. Others may get all upset but I urge you to set your sights higher.

Yes they are interchangeable.
Only use enough wick to cover the holes. If it's overstuffed it blocks them instead of allowing the juice to flow.
After putting cotton through fluff it before trimming helps too

Yeah I was speaking about the regular Reuleaux. Maybe I got a lemon but it didn't feel like three batteries worth of life. I like slimmer profiles also so I ain't doink a three fer again.

Anyways, I have a serious question. Is the black door on the 200 the same thing as the Elephant on the 250? My 250 is Purple Ostrich. Looks nice honestly.

There are two black backs. One is a black lightly textured leather, and the other is a black elephant which is far more textured to look like elephant. Definitely a large noticeable difference between the two.
Here's a chart that shows the different colors. The only problem is not every vendor calls the colors by the same name. For instance, The Elephant is just called Black at Ecig (at least that's what people that have bought it have said) and Purple Ostrich is just Purple there.
PS I think Croc would be nice. It's pretty tough and looks good too (imo).
