If anybody's looking for a coil trimming tool, I got one of THESE from this guy for half the price of a coily and with free shipping and 5 Japanese organic cotton pads. Same exact thing as the Hugsvape tool with a different name on it. Quite handy actually.

I had some trouble with my newer Vsticking VK530 yihi draining my batteries below 3v when sitting at idle for a few days-
Called Vape NW (still under warranty) they gave me store credit to cover the cost of my Vsticking(which I get to keep, works but I take the batteries out when not using). No more VSticking White Deity left so I bought the Asvape Gabriel and got a set of Golisi 18650 , 3000mAh batteries with my store credit. Kind of girly, right?

snap, interesting colors, but hard to make out.
is that a bird?

No not a bird- they are wings with roses. I got this in the silver frame.

snap, i like the flowing lines as much as i like the design.
are they comfy to hold?

Yes the Gabriel is very comfy to hold! It has a nice textured feel too it too!
The only down side is that it is a single 18650 battery mod- so the battery life is not the best, otherwise I am really liking the Gabriel.
It is one of the few single battery mods I own. Too bad I can't use a 21700 battery with this- would give a little battery battery life to this mod!
Oh by the way- I had absolutely no trouble with the battery cap on mine- smooth and works great, I watched a few reviewers struggle with it.

Looks like tatoo work.

Yes it does like like Tattoo work- even though I am a Harley rider for over 30 years, I have No tattoos- I wanted to be different- LOL!
The Asvape Gabriel is really nice and I can get my tattoo fix while I vape!
I wanted one when they first came out- but too expensive then.
I have the Asvape Michael, but in the stabwood, not the Devils Night print.

i finally got a nice looking set up.
sorry i can't post a pic.

since i enjoy the flowing lines n the hand feel of the sigelei sobra, i got one in gold.
i wanted one in rainbow, but that's not available for less than $72.
i found the gold for $38 at 8vape.
just as good. both the rainbow n gold have shiny metal instead of snakeskin.
that deltram top almost matches n oddly, the juice i filled it with has a gold tint.
since it has a splash of black in the middle of the mod, that's my accent.

i also got the nitecore i4.
does anyone have this?
are the green lights supposed to be flashing while batteries are charging?
on my cheap charger the light was solid when charging.
also, how do i tell when the batteries are fully charged?
how long does it take to charge?
my old one took 16 hours.
sorry for all the questions but the instructions are poor.

On the Nitecore charger I have, an i2, a light for each battery blinks while the battery is charging, then stays on solid when it's finished.

If there is battery condition detection, all three lights blink at the same time if the charger detects a bad battery.

How long it takes to charge depends on how many batteries you are charging at once. I can charge a single 18650 in a little over an hour. A 21700 takes a couple of hours. Add almost that much time again for each battery you add to charge at the same time.

I think my charger is more efficient charging batteries one at a time, but I've never timed and recorded it.

Wonderful to hear that you have a rig you are happy with.

thank you, nada.
i think mine is working then. i was worried. there are 2 buttons you can push for various things n i was afraid i'd need to push something.
those buttons seem to be for advanced users so i didn't wanna mess with them.

By the way, @susieqz if you want a Sobra in rainbow for less than $72, you should set @Countrypami out to track that down for you.

Pami, what did you call yourself? The Link Ninja? If it's to be had on the Internet, Pami can find it. :D

it would be too much work. tons of places have the sobra n you have to go there to find out that rainbow is sold out.
lots of other colors but rainbow must be what everyone wants.
only direct vapor has them because they are charging twice as much as everyone else.

long.
p'm used to not tasting flavors bu i just tried bavarian cream.
it was disgusting.

I almost always watch YouTube videos before buying an Rda. I'm so new at building, want to be sure it looks like I'd be able to manage the deck in an unfamiliar Rda.

I’m not new to building but I still will watch a few of the more “reliable” reviewers to see how the deck is for building on and airflow etc... also to get a general idea of coil size and placement to maximize flavor from many of the reviewers as well. They’ve been at it a lot longer than me so why not tap into their experience. I may not always agree with them but we all have preferences as we get more adept at building.

Most commercial juice makers recommend 2 weeks of steeping. Keep in a dark cool closet if possible and give them a good shake every so often. Then you’ll get the best flavors out of them. Enjoy

A few weeks of shaking and store in the dark for steeping- some can be longer to steep. Some no matter how long they steep are still disgusting and no amount of steeping can fix some really bad tasting juice.
This is when you can narrow down certain flavors you like and dislike!
I hate most citrus( orange and lime), blueberry, cheese cakes, yogurts, maple syrup, coconut, chocolate, tobacco
I love grape, peach, apple, strawberry, coffee, bubble gums, sweet and sour candy flavors and minty flavors, sweet candy flavors
Keep you eyes open for great sales on juice samples so you can try different flavors that appeal to you.
I remember not tasting too many flavors, went to my Vape Shop for free tastings and bought what I could taste- like peppermints, spearmints, cinnamon Fireball,it took me the better part of a year to be able to get my taste buds back.

Also, different types of flavors tend to require more or less steeping. Tobacco is probably one type of flavor that requires the longest steep, up to a month or two. Custards and cakes, and chocolate, improve over time, say 2 to 6 weeks. Fruits and mints, cinnamons and non-custardy vanillas can be fine after just a few days.

The easiest way to test flavors is to just use a dripper that you can easily change cotton in.

Some custards (like your Bavarian cream, probably) have an almost rancid flavor until they're properly steeped. I got a snoot full of that taste one day and it's almost more than I can do now to vape custard.

Around 2 weeks is the general time frame. Some flavors, like strawberry especially you wanna vape within 6 months.

Some no matter how long they steep are still disgusting and no amount of steeping can fix some really bad tasting juice.
THIS ^^^^
I vaped a ton of ECBlends when I first started vaping, didn't realize how bad they tasted til I had something that tasted better. But, just because their version of that flavor may not be good, another vendors may be. My theory is if there is a flavor you like in real life but haven't liked in vapes, it's because you haven't found a good version of it yet. The exceptions to that are cherry and chocolate... THERE ARE NO GOOD VERSIONS of either. They are just 2 flavors that DO NOT translate in vape.

Also, if a vendor can't make a simple one/two flavor mix taste good... don't waste any more of your money with them... just move on!

An example of how subjective vaping taste is...I love my chocolate DIY vapes. Have Mykreign's Deep Fried Oreo, a chocolate chunk cookie, and a Tiramisu cream that I vape one or more of every day. Butterfinger poke cake is good, too.

I really, really wanted to like cherry, and did find that it is much improved after LONG steeping, but is still blech. I made a Spumoni juice, which is like pistachio/chocolate/cherry ice cream or gelato, and I think the recipe is as good as it's going to get, but I just can't vape it.

Do have one cherry vape that I actually designed to be similar to cough drops, and I can vape that if I'm under the weather. It also has peppermint and horehound in it. Sounds gross, I know, but it's my bad-cold vape.

Have found a few very good chocolate vapes, also, including a Golden Ticket clone recipe (the real deal is good too if you wanna shell out the bucks) and HIC's 3 Musketeers

The only vapable cherry I've ever had was Mama J's Cherry Pie, and then only in small doses after a very long steep

it took me the better part of a year to be able to get my taste buds back.

That strawberry & cream recipe of mine, that I started at 31% flavoring, 2.5% of which was sweetener... I was over 2 yrs smoke-free before I could even start bringing down the sweetener; that went pretty fast, within just a couple months I was down to no sweetener at all; after that, I started on bringing down the percentages on all the other flavors, now down to about 23%.

I don't think it's a coincidence that it started being too sweet, and then over-flavored, AFTER I got rid of WTA. The same might be true for regular nicotine, that once we start decreasing it, we start being able to really taste the juice's flavors and sweetness; I got down to 3mg over a year ago, and just a couple months ago went back up a bit to 4.5mg; my son uses 6-9mg, and he's still using one of the iterations that's about 27% flavoring.

thanks, guys. i'll wait a couple weeks. i didn't know about shaking.
if ecblend isn't good, where do i go next?
except for ick, their peach is the only thing i can taste.
Try some of the Tmaxx No Frills- love Strawberry doughnut
I love Om Vapors- Baked(apple pie) and Serene(peach cobbler)
The SauceLA- Main Street(apple pie), Vanilla Bean Cream(coffee) Caramel Waffle Cappuchino(coffee), 1922( fruit punch koolada)
Get Your Kicks(bubble gum), and from their awesometown line- Red Laces,Grape Powder and Strawberry Lemonade.
Loaded Glazed Doughnuts and Loaded Apple Fritter
I got a sample 10 pack from Vape Wild- 10 mls each for $1.00 to try, not really a fan of any flavor, but I got to try them.
I watch for sales- Sauce LA and OM can have 120 bottles for $4.99 great price- I stock up then.
The SauceLA has a sample pack for around $3.00

Before I started DIY I was ordering Hangsen juice from China and Vape Wild and Mt. Baker Vapor from the States. Started off back in 2011 getting all my juice from Madvapes, and ordered consistently from them for 3 or 4 years, except in emergencies when I'd have to stop and buy juice locally.

I liked Hangsen's Fennel, Cinnamon, Tiramisu, Cherry Limeade. Vape Wild's Cowboy Cooler, Vanilla Clouds, and Brownie Batter Banana Split. Mt. Baker's Ecto Cooler and I forget what else. It's been a while. Madvapes' Cinnamon Pear, Grandpa's Mix, Cauldron, Mad Grapes, Wintergreen..

Now that I list those out, I realize they are almost all spices. Didn't vape much that was sweet until I started ordering from Vape Wild.

I used Mt Baker Vapor in the beginning too, so long ago I can't remember what I liked from there, I think Extreme Ice- my hubby still loves their Grape- I still order that for him, he has tried other Grape Eliquids- but likes Mt Baker's the best! He used to like their Pink Champagne too, I don't think they sell that anymore.

The best grape flavor I've ever had came from Oasis Vape. It's a flavor called Hermes, it's like a grape candy plus soft mint. I liked their flavor called Dino, too. It was very similar to MBV's Ecto Cooler. Several of their flavors were very similar to each other and I wasn't fond of their bakery flavors at all. Very heavy and dark, possibly over-flavored, even for me.

I've mixed a Grape Ice DIY juice, but it was a while back, and I mixed it at 12mg. It has been waiting for me, and likely won't get vaped because it's so heavy on nic.
