I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but the eVic Vt is junk...

OK, well if you want to have a real conversation, I'd say the ipv3 from what people are saying. But the snow wolf is supposed to be pretty great too.
For some reason this makes me lean towards the Tesla...

So apparently you assume I bought them all at the same time? I returned the m80 to get the evic.
No I was just trying to make a point that all the money you got tied up in these things you might of gotten a better mod.
I get tired of people saying they can't afford a good mod but then they will have hundreds and hundreds of dollars in cheap mods and tanks.
George I'm not trying to break you balls :(
And I believe if them companies in China wanted to make a good solid mod that would last for years, they would,
but the cost would be up there with the $200 mods.
Like a lot of companies, they make things not to last so you have to buy a new one lol.

And every company no matter what the product is or how good it's made will spit out a lemon ever now and then.
And every company will make that one that seems to just last forever, it's the luck of the draw.

Right now I got 7 mods sitting on my desk, a P3, iStick 30, iStick 50, Kbox Mini, DNA40 and three rDNA 40's.
The iSticks I would be happy if they lasted 6 months. And I know if I drop one on a hard surface I would be afraid to pick it up lol
My P3  yea it's weak :( and Provape is a little slow on the updates but having an original Provape 1, that is over 5 years old and a ProVari 2.0 which is over 4 years old, and they both work as good as the day I bought them, so I have faith in my P3 still working 4 years from now.
My Vapor Sharks are my work horses. And I can't say enough about the Temp control of the DNA 40 chip.
And VS costumer support is out standing!
The Kbox Mini is one of my Favorites but I only had it a little over a week.
But I got the whole kit for a little over $50 and would be very happy to get a year out of it. And I mean that in a good way :)

Beside my P3 and I haven't own my Vapor Sharks long enough to comment on them but,
Here is the way I look at these new VW mods and it is not $50 for 50 watts, but $50 for 6 months of working. o_O
I think it's even safer to say for every $10 spent I should get a month of vaping lol.
This my be dumb for me to think this, but this way I don't get butt hurt when my $50 mod craps out in 5 months. lol
I normally wait for a couple of reviews, not un-boxing, but full reviews of a device before I get one.

If you really want the eVic VT to work then I think you should try to exchange it for a new one and give it another try.
And if that don't work out and 50 watts is good enough for you I would try a Subox Mini kit.
But again I would stress that I would be very happy to get a year out of my Kbox Mini and I don't think Kanger would get butt hurt if they seen me say that. And I say a Year because it's not my main device, if it was my main and or my only device then I would be happy for 6 months of everyday all day use.

It will clear out because it is thick like me?

Good shops don't, but a lot of places do. It has its uses, but not for reshaping panels like people used to do.

Well, I honestly hope you're right about companies messing up once in a while because I'd hate for people to get ripped off and have to go out and buy something else to get through like I did. I like the evic, a lot. That's probably why I'm so pissed it died on me.And I get your point about price but a $70 mod idn't exactly cheap and I don't think it's expecting to much for it to last at least several months. I'm still on the fence about refunding it or exchanging it. I would love for it to work as is should.

BTW: The VS rDNA is down to $130 and the DNA is $100.
I personalty like the rDNA better because you can take out the battery and put a different one in instead of waiting for it to charge. :)

And just to clarify things, my istick 30 died, bought the m80 and gave the 50 to my mother, returned the 60 for the evic and bought a Tesla Two 100w unregulated for a back up when my evid died. t's getting pretty frustrating.

True Story,
I was at a Vape convention last weekend and almost bought a eVic VT but seeing it side by side with the Subox Mini Kit and seeing the Kbox mini with an Subtank Mini on it, I picked the Subox Mini kit over the eVic VT.
And that was before I was even told the Subox kit was cheaper then the eVic VT kit.

I moved up from a nautilus to a subtank mini. Then I got A Zephyrus and let me tell you, I have barely pickrd up my mini since. It's awesome, but I like to build coils and the rba on it is great.

Besides my Provape 1, Provari 2.0 and my P3 I got 8 Provari 2.5's lol
I got over 63 mods, some cheap and some are not, but I learned this, you do get what you pay for.

I don't have a Zephyrus yet. I got a Subtank and Subtank Mini's, Atlantis v1 and a v2, Arctic, and a Herakles.
I can't say I like one better then another, but I think each one works better on certain mods.
I like the look of the Herakles and I like the look of the black & white Subtank Mini's on Black and White mods.
I'm a big fan of my tanks matching my mods.

And I am still considering buying one. But I'm deciding between the SnowWolf, Tesla 160tc and the IPV3LI first. Remember, I said I would consider one when my iStick dies. I'm getting a big mod first. Tomorrow is the plan. And building a mech mod. Oh, and a reo. Gotta get one of them too. At this time, I don't need anything else under 150watts.
I've decided I'm gonna buy one. I figure if BOY GEORGE doesn't like it, it's probably a great mod.

I didn't even open or receive it yet... Should've waited or got the smok. I didn't pay a lot 70$ for whole thing (top and bottom) but I don't want problems

Eh, I returned the Smok for the evic. The Smok is a good vw device but the it doesn't have temp control. And to be honest the evic is a better device technologically but I just don't think it's built to last. The Smok felt rock solid though. I'd look at something totally different than either if I was you. But hey, like everyone's saying, maybe mine was just a lemon, yours might work great.

Don't fall for George's crap. There are a lot of people that seem to love them. He isn't giving an honest review, just bashing a company that has offered to make it right. They are willing to replace his, even though there is a good chance that he screwed it up himself. He did admit to spilling juice in it...

As I have said several times, electronics are electronics. Amps volts watts and ohms don't change just because it's on a car. Ohm's law is ohm's law regardless of where it is used. I've worked with far more complicated electronics than these simple little mods. If you can't see that, you are stupid. Hundreds of people make their own mods, and yet you can't wrap your mind around it. A chip, a screen, a battery sled a button and the 510 connecter. That is all there is to these things. Just because I build race cars and motorcycles doesn't mean that is the only thing I can do.
