On a sad note I went to a friends house to help with some things since her partner of 30 plus years passed away and his kids are fucking her out of her half of the house. Had to take down a Crystal Chandelier and install an antique looking fixture in the dining room. Took a couple of other things off the walls for her while I was there. Fucking people can really suck to do shit like this to someone I have been friends with for decades.
Wasn't it nice? My car said 69 ! Went for a walk in the state park down the road and I did have a tee but was the only one with long pants!

I was driving to Home Depot wearing a Winter Coat. Had to take it off and turn off the heat in my vehicle~! Not sure what the temperature said inside my vehicle I was too busy dying from the heat~!
That really does suck! I too have seen this behavior by far more people than I care to admit. It really is shameful!! Will she be ok though without her home???
I hope so and she knows I will do anything I can to help her get situated in her new place. Was helping her with how to deal with Vz and Optimum while I was there.

I will do the same for anyone I still consider a friend. Had to cut ties with too many assholes I considered friends over the years. I give many chances but after the 3rd strike you're done. After that there is no going back because I gave 4th and 5th chances to only get screwed again. It is just upsetting to see someone you care about getting fucked over. You know when someone goes out of there way for you, you always own then 2 more~!
That’s really horrible. Unfortunately that’s when people’s true nature comes out, and it’s the worst f@cking time for it.

That’s so nice that you have a state park right by you. I have a city park, but it’s like a good 45 minute walk for me.
See what's a two mile hike over a couple of hills from us. We go over every so often. We normally don't hike in though. We could but from the looks the hills are rough walking. Yeah, we live in the sticks, not quite the boonies though. The boonies are just up yon a piece from us though. I'd say likely two miles or so.
This is a pretty forested park, called Forest Park!! Attached to a cemetery and it’s a big cruising place. The energy is a bit off kilter which is why I don’t like going there. But it’s a humongous place, but the part near to us is a bit strange sometimes.

Know what you mean though. When I lived in VA the Rainbow Fest, not the LGBQT one, but the occult one was held on a mountain we all call North Hill. For a few months after that North Hill held a sense of being strange. I still roamed the hill. It was nearly my backyard as a matter of fact. There was a bar up on the river too in my backyard.
Yes, even as a child I could go into that bar. It's a roughneck, family type of place. The strongest they let kids drink are soda suicides. Roughneck to me in this case means loggers, oil workers, bikers, truckers, welders, mechanics, ya know, ... roughnecks. And no, I don't use that as derogatory. Hell at one point or another in my life I've a bit of each myself and a farmer, solider. So figure I'm roughneck too.
Good people the lot of us. And honest, apologies I've not worked oil rigs or driven truck. Been around enough that have ergo do know just a little. But I'll not claim of doing them because I've not. All respect to those who do/did.
