Trump is no Ron Paul. Never has been. He never ran on a "end the fed" ticket. I don't think any past Ron Paul supporters thought Trump was a "end the Fed" candidate. Nor does he have an ideology.
There was no Ron Paul running. There was no perfect candidate. Trumps lack of ideology and his pro debt stance has always been quite open. I'm afraid that there were no Ron Pauls running. And these crybabies have a context problem. There are lots of Trump's speeches still out on video. If you only listened to the media soundbites, drain the swamp and bashing goldman sacs, these were said in a very distinct context.
The context of Trump's goldman talking points was simply about candidates and politicians. Those that were influenced by donors. He never bashed the banking industry. He bashed those getting paid for influence. I've never agreed with Trumps pro bank, pro debt stance.
The same with "drain the swamp". The context was always about candidates and politicians. Not wall street. Not banks. Anyone that listened to full Trump speeches knows this. He always said that he knew lots of successful businessmen and he would use them to make america great again. If anyone is surprised by Trump's picks it's because they never listened to a Trump speech.
It is exactly what I expected from Trump. I never expected a break from the banks. I certainly expected a bunch of CEO's. I listened to his speeches.
I think I'll enjoy the next 7 months. There was no Ron Paul running and Trump was the best choice. I was under no illusion that Trump would end the fed or that he'd pick a bunch of day laborers for his administration. I do expect allot of liberal and neocon policies to be reversed. Changes in foreign policy, immigration, regulation, trade and etc. I have a feeling that after Jan 20, I'll be posting Trump accomplishments on many of those issues. I'll have to wait for a Ron Paul or the US version of Nigel Farage to end the fed. We didn't have that option this time. We had Trump for the other issues.
I think it's funny that some think Trump was supposed to be a picture perfect President. He was never a picture perfect candidate. I think it's even funnier that someone thinks I should be upset about it. I think Trump will, overall, be a better President than any other choice we had.

It's working great, so far. Hitlery has not picked a Treasury sec. We'll still see changes in immigration, trade, foreign policy, tax's, obamacare, regulation and others.
Overall, it'll be a net gain over any other choice we had.
