there is a big difference between a war and a civil war.....a civil war is countryman against countryman...when you expect to incorporate both sides into one country...you have to take the history of both sides into the country...the history of the confederacy is not the history of the south it is the history of America.There were plenty of Indians who lost wars who signed treaties and then violated those treaties because they felt the US goverment had betrayed the agreement...I don't think those Indians were traitors or even wrong in breaking the treaty..I don't think they felt they had a choice if they wanted to survive or live in any sembelance of freedom...and I do feel the US goverment had betrayed the terms of those treaties. I watched the coverage of Boston. The "counter protesters" were mostly carrying signs against the right. Not Nazis. "indict the right". "Fight the right".
It's interesting to note all the young faces in those pics of communist supporters ... a group whose collective life experiences could barely fill a thimble.

I was fairly ignorant about the Civil War having learned only what I was taught in school.
But I could see there was some serious shit goin on in this decal... So I asked Chambers about it...
He was eloquent and passionate and rebellious in his response...
He told me that each of the tiny sets of 3 letters commemorates the Indian tribes that allied themselves with the South.
He said he did that because these alliances had all but been erased from the history books in schools. (This was in 1998)
The namesake of the N.B.F. Hellcat Roadster is Nathan Bedford Forest.
Of course the white star on blue was a bit of a head turner as well.

It is about fostering Fear, Ignorance, Greed, Thirst for Power, Confrontation & Hate in the Populace over Reason, Quest for Knowledge, Cooperation, Teamwork, Family Values and Love for your Fellow Man/Woman. They literally believe they are creating events to usher in the Rapture itself summoning their god Saturn (Lucifer) to Earth for Judgement Day.

I actually called Matt Chambers to express my shock over the new hideous, brand neutering decals.
When Chambers told me the original logo had been replaced, and the commemorative/racist sticker eliminated
after only one year's production, (11 bikes I think) I asked him for the 'historic' decal mfg's contact info. He obliged.
I called that company and paid em to print me up 10 more full sets of the controversial decals from the original litho.
Then, like a dumbass over the years, I stuck em on stupid shit like my truck, front window, etc.
Until now... this is the only surviving set known to exist...

Another day, yet another statue of a military hero is reportedly under fire. This figure astride a horse was vandalized with the spray-painted words "Tear It Down."

The phrase "Tear it Down" was hastily sprayed in black paint across the base of the golden Joan of Arc statue on Decatur Street in the French Quarter sometime earlier this week. It has since been removed, with only the vaguest traces of the paint remaining.
The "Tear it Down" tag would seem to relate to the debate surrounding the city's ongoing removal of four Confederate monuments. But the statue of Joan of Arc, a 15th-century military leader, martyr and Catholic saint, hasn't been mentioned in the controversy to this point.
Amy Kirk Duvoisin, the founder of the annual Joan of Arc parade that ceremonially pauses at the statue on the first day of Carnival season, says she's confused by the vandalism.
"Surely, people realize she's not related to American history," she said referring to the French icon.
