What Do I Win?

The top prize is a months' supply of premium customized e-liquid, defined as 4x30mL bottles, 10x10mL bottles, or 16x5mL bottles of any e-liquid products listed on www.vapecrafter.com, good during the month following the winning draw. Winnings for the October contest will be valid November 1 - November 30 and must be redeemed within that time frame.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
How to Enter
Simply post a recipe idea, a recipe-by-parts (ratio of flavors to one another how you want them perceived in the blend, no vendor information), or an exact recipe (including flavor vendors) as a comment to this thread. If you post an exact recipe, you will get 3 entries into the contest. A recipe by parts will get 2 entries, and an idea will get one entry.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
For advanced DIY-ers, the recipe format should be as follows for all recipe components:

xx% Flavor [Vendor]

These recipes should all be reproducible in VapeCrafter Advanced. If a certain PG/VG ratio and/or nicotine level and/or steep time is optimal, please include that, as well. We allow customization of all components to 0.1% accuracy and steep time in our temperature and humidity-controlled steep cells down to the day. If no PG/VG information is available the site will carry this product at a 50/50 ratio with optional customization.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
If you're posting a recipe-by-parts, please use the following format:
x parts Flavor
I recommend having all the parts add up to 10 for the "full flavor" of the juice. This will make it compatible with VapeCrafter Basic. Once again, if you use a certain PG/VG ratio or nicotine content, include that if you feel it is vital to the flavor and experience of the recipe.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
If you're posting an idea, simply post what flavors you believe will work well together. If you are a winner of the contest, VapeCrafter will contact you and work with you to come up with a delicious liquid based on your recipe.

Entries can be any original recipe or idea, don't just Google a recipe and take someone else's hard work, please. If foul play is suspected your entry will be disqualified.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
In order to determine the winners fairly we'll need at least 10 recipe posts in this thread!!
How are the winners chosen?
All entries will be placed into a randomizer, with the stated number of entries based on what type of recipe/idea is submitted. Five different users will be picked at random. These five will then again be entered into a randomizer and the result will be the winner of a months' supply of e-liquid!
In addition to all of this, the winners' recipe will be featured on the site as one of the three "Crafts of the Month" and any purchase over $20 can pick a free 5 mL of one of the three for free. Any purchase over $40 can pick two, and any purchase over $50 gets all three to try!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This post will be open to entries until 11:59 PM EST on October 20 2014 at which time I will announce the winner. The contest for next month will be put up on the first of the following month.

May the best recipe win!

Sounds delicious -- that Cinnamon Red Hot can be a tank cracker (or at least a tank fogger) for sure, so be wary of that!

WE HAVE LIKE 8 DIFFERENT KINDS OF RY4 AND SEVERAL DIFFERENT COWBOYS OR MILD BLACKS, WITH THIS I'D RECOMMENDED A NUTTY NOTE TOO MAYBE ALMOND OR HAZELNUT OR EVEN OAK JUST TO GIVE IT SOME SUBTLE BODY.

Are you sure you're thinking of the right place? I mean, I'll take the compliment, I think we run an outstanding operation, but we're located in Western MA and don't have a storefront (yet) -- we sell online retail and we sell wholesale to vape stores.

I prefer this mix at 70vg/30pg. Steep time is a minimum of 1 week (the longer it sits the creamier it gets). I just left it in a closet to steep, nothing special.

8% Vanilla Custard [Capella]
4% Capella Sweet Strawberry [Capella]
2% Bavarian Cream [TFA]
2% Vanilla Swirl [TFA]
2% Vanilla Bean Ice Cream [TFA]
1% Whipped Cream [TFA]
1% Vanillin [TFA]

This is an awesome contest. Thank you!!!! Can't wait to see all the entries.

Smoked menthols for years and always searching for the perfect menthol tasting TOBACCO! Every menthol I have gotten has been way to sweet or minty/menthol flavored! Need something with a good tobacco kick too.

2 different GOOD tobacco flavors ( I love RY4 & Kowboy Killa )
A touch of sweet ( vanilla or cream )
Touch of nuttiness
Touch of menthol - enough for that menthol throat hit I need!

Edit: Forgot, for throat hit too, fairly high PG. maybe 70/30.
Thanks!

This is just a simple recipe that I enjoy in the mornings with my cup of coffee. Kinda tastes like a blueberry muffin.
10% Blueberry (fw)
4% cinnamon Danish ( tfa)
70vg/30pg
As far as steep time goes. Im sure a day or few steep would allow the flavors to really come out, but I'm a shake and vape kinda guy.
Great contest !

I've always wanted a midnight vape. An "adult" flavor.

Strong dark, mud-like coffee
whiskey (bourbon - looking for a little oakiness)
a hint of irish cream (background)
maybe a touch of cuban cigar flavor?

I'm thinking of dingy dive bars and seedy pool halls.
Definatley not a 'delicate' flavor but one for the brave.

First ingredient is the burnt coffee flavor and I can't find it.

Holy crap, that sounds naughty. This needs to exist.

One requirement. Must be mixed while listening to Tom Waits (the inspiration). :D

So who makes the best gnarly coffee flavor? That's my hang-up.

TFA kona coffee seems gnarly to me, very strong (1drop per 10ml) and yes my pallet tastes burnt coffee when vaping it..

Thanks @immortalhope, I was going to defer to Kaween on that one, since I didn't personally know, but we carry that. It's listed on our tools under "Coffee (Kona) [The Flavor Apprentice]" Even if this doesn't win, I'm tempted to fool around with that myself.

Cool. Does that mean I'll get a sample of what you work up?
The original name was 'heartattack and vine'.

Sick name.

We would, but that kind of defeats the purpose of the competition. If you win, you'll definitely get more than a sample. If we come up with a good recipe, I'll post it on our VU sub forum and you and anyone else can order it with your preferred VG/PG, Nic, steep, and any additives you'd like.

competition? Ok. I guess I need to read the instructions.
IMO coffee flavors tend to fade.

Well you already gave us sort of a recipe so you're already entered into the contest. It's a random drawing with different numbers of entries given out for different types of posts, and if you win you get a month's supply of e-juice fo FREE
