Thanks for the info!! Perhaps 70+ watts is the limit. I don't get above 55W with mine, probably why I have not experienced the issue yet. Good to know the Magma cap works!!

The magma cap works but you need to find a thicker o ring for it to work. I believe it's actually an improvement and I would recommend replacing the stock chuff cap with it even if the one you have is fine. I think 2 of them cost me like $1.35 at FT. Love being able to use my own drip tips.

It's not a tank. It's a mod IJOY made awhile back that's name is Asolo. They are just having fun with the name. The mod claimed to be able to TC Kanthal which it couldn't - on good days it can stop dry hits and burnt cotton, but not TC Kanthal. Because of that some of us don't really trust IJOY and I should have known better.

The other day I received four LG HDC2 batts from Liion for the VT133. Had always purchased from Illum in the past, but liked Liion's blurb on the Sony VTCs and why they don't carry them anymore.

I was going to paint it green to match my Royal Hunter, but I don't have the patience to do a good rattle can paint job.

I thought when I changed tanks it was supposed to recognize the change and prompt for "New Atomizer +/-" .
Been swapping tanks all day on the "Power" profile and it hasn't prompted. Admittedly I've gone from the Clieto with a .4 coil, to the Crown & Crown II with .5 coils.
It's prompted me before, probably with a TC profile selected.
Am I doing something wrong. It does recognise the resistance change in the coils, so it's working, but am definitely curious.

It only asks it its a new coil when the resistance is very close. If there not close it knows its a new coil. On top of that in the Power Profile temperature control is disabled. Whether or not it's a new tank only matters in TC.
True that- deck size. I do however consider 70W high wattage...not extreme by any means, but high. I guess these days, we could just say 100W is high, 70W medium and 40W below low.

Personally, I consider anything under 60w low wattage. 70-120w is medium. 120w and above I consider high wattage.

Actually, I have about 10 years on you. It's not me or you its the industry. Shit I remember years ago when a 800cc motorcycle was considered a big bike. Now its considered a lightweight or entry level type bike. Its just the way most industries progress. Just remember how far we have come. A little over a year ago I bought my first tc mod. It was a Sig 75. Thought it was the greatest thing since sliced bread. Now, I barely ever use it because its just not powerful enough.

...I was half kidding bit I do kinda feel old when the newer vapers are talking. I'm not live and die Kayfun old, but I rarely need over 65W. For my cloud chasing RDAs, I don't even push those past 75..and thays way too hot and I love a warm vape . I've never felt the need to go up to and certainly not past 100W. Definitely the industry. One thing thats a constant. 400 BHP is 400 BHP no matter how you slice it. Tesla or Challenger

Just a heads up on the Hcigar VT75 Nano. I've been reading on another forum people are having trouble with the battery cap. It seems that the threads are very fine and it's extremely easy to cross-thread the battery cap. Maybe it was just a bad batch, but more than one person is talking about it.
I've also been reading that people are ripping their battery wraps on the Therion when changing batteries. Seems like the inside battery is really tight.
I still think for a reasonably priced 18650 DNA200 mod, the VT133 reigns supreme (A supreme is a good match on top as well).

I never felt the need either until I got my Crowns. Before that I was using a Sig 75 with a STM and I was always around 30w in tc. After purchasing the Crown and running it on the Sig I was getting a good vape on it but I was chewing thru like 3-5 batteries a day. So, I bought a VT200. Well as most of you know that didn't even come close to solving my battery life problem but I loved the DNA chipset. The along comes the beautiful and ground breaking Reuleaux DNA. I loved that mod because it could handle any wattage with ease. I tend to vape between 65-85 watts. I rarely go higher, in fact since I have gotten into building I find myself vaping at lower wattages than I do with prebuilt coils.

Mike Vapes ripped the DNA 75 on his live show. Says he's having all kinds of issues with it not firing certain coils and limiting him on others.

I've definitely had my share of issues with the Therion. Mainly, the 510 connector. Certain atties would short out or sho 0 resistance when fully screwed on.
I finally just fixed the prob myself, removed the 510 and sure enough the grounding cable was directly under the 510.
It's now a very solid mod with caveats. It's a 75W device
One thing that I have not run into in a while was the "too hot" warning. It seems to be linked to certain atties for me. The Herakles-constant. My Tornado- beautiful. Does great with Limitless V1 too.
Overall, silly to have a dual Batt Dna75. Actually, I see no need for a single batt version. The dual is just ok battery wise.

I've always said the smart play was sticking with the DNA200 board for various reasons. Not the least of which it's been out awhile and the kinks have been worked out. Then you also have the fact it's more efficient, more flexibility power wise. Especially with things like preheat on Clapton coils, that's about the only time I personally go over 75 watts. Even if I only went to 70 watts, I'm still a firm believer in having headroom. I don't like to take my electronics right to the edge so to speak. YMMV

Or maybe is your vaping style that you take really short draws?I vape dual coil, standard 7-wrap SS316L 26g .24ohms @ 30w and 430F (Aromamizer Supreme & Griffin 25) and it's a warm, creamy, thick nice vape. However I like to take slow, long, draws in succession for a few min... then put it down a few min, and repeat. I can't imagine taking a slow long draw at 75w. (The punch is 80w but that's just for 1s.) I also vape 100% VG though, so maybe people with thinner juices that wick much faster and produce less dense cloud can push that limit more.
Don't get me wrong. Not criticizing in the least! Just wondering what coils/wire/builds allow people to vape at such high wattage, or maybe it IS mostly vaping style... i.e. short quick pulls?

I'm like you, I'm normally using 28ga SS430, dual coils, 2.5mm, 7 wraps, 420f at 30 watts.
Most of the higher power would be using thicker wire (22-24ga) or Claptons. The more wire mass you have, the more power you need to use to heat it up.

OK, and the trend has been Claptons and twisted, so then that would make sense. (I did try twisted, Claptons, etc some time back but not for me. I like doing the simplest thing that produces a good result.) Oh wait, that might be called lazy.

I just barely pushed myself recently to start building dual coils. Apparently I lack the temperament to reach the absolute heights of this 'hobby'. If I ever took the time to build a quad coil I would never wanna vape on it at the thought of having to re-build it. Also, I do like my DIY Captain Black N.E.T. and it fouls the coil after about 5mls, which is why I don't vape it more often, even in the SC Velocity dripper. But I imagine quad coils and N.E.T. are rarely spoken in the same sentence!As it is the SS dual coils are lasting about 10 days for me, using my ADV of VG+TFA Caramel. And those 10 days go by fast. Hard to believe I was building single coils every day though, just prior to the SS when using Ni201. That's one reason I didn't mind going to dual coil... still coming out way ahead with the SS!
But quad coils?? The main reason I would personally not "try it once for fun" is for fear I might like it more than dual coils. Then my OC nature wouldn't let it go... I'd think how much nicer my vape could be with quad coils forever after!!

I started off in the dirt as a kid (in the 60s) and eventually when I reached 18 got a 250cc Kawi. Kept getting bigger bikes and over the next several yrs ended up with an 800cc Honda Shadow in 1988, which I felt was "a big bike." Until my buddy told me I'd love a Harley, so in '91 I went looking and jumped on a 1984 1340cc Shovelhead. Made the Honda feel like a sewing machine. Bought that Shovel and it's still in my garage. And now it feels like my 1984 250R Honda dirt bike... like I've been eying the Road Kings...
But still won't build quad coils or Claptons or twisted!
Going bigger on a bike is easy. Sit your butt down and twist the throttle. It's all good! Can't say the same for rolling your own coils when it gets into twisted and quads and all.

Never been a Harley guy but I love cruisers. Got the sport bike thing out of my system when I was younger. Had a few Hurricanes and Katanas. Funny story about the 883. My friend was always into the look of Harleys but the only one he could legimately afford was the 883. After owning one for about 2 months he had to sell it. Bikers kept coming up to him and saying nice bike my girl has the same one. Lmfao. That looks like one mean machine you got there.
I have never owned a bike I didn't love, Japanese or otherwise. There's room for all of them... except maybe the 883 Sportster. Yeah... it won't get any respect from Harley guys unless a woman is on it. (I am a woman btw, and even I wouldn't have gotten that bike!)
