at last i have received my Authentic KangerTech Subox Mini-C VW APV Box Mod Kit from fasttech
this is my first mod kit, and my second vape device
it's so handy and beautiful, i've not found a battery for it yet
i was exploring the box and reading the manual
first, the mod looks second hand to me :/ is that possible?
second, after reading manual, i tried to open top cap of subtank mini-c and i failed every time

can anybody tell me if this can be my fault or the tank's?

No I don't think fasttech would send you a used device- there are many reviews on You Tube on your device. I have not used this device and tank and hope this video helps you!

Pop the tank in the freezer for a few minutes. Should make it easier to open.
I've never known FT to sell "second hand" items, but I've learned to never swear by anyone.

yeah i saw many reviews before i buy this mod kit, the problem is that i do everything as i saw, and tried as i read the manual, but it's not openning, i'll try the freezer way

http://vapingunderground.com/threads/best-battery-for-vaping.309302/

this thread has some great info on 18650 batteries- stay away from Efest batteries and try to purchase 18650 batteries from trusted sites- you should also get an external battery charger-

thank you so much for this
the problem is that Li-Ion batteries aren't known here at all
wherever i go and ask for Lithium battery size 18650 they show me aa batteries, or anything buy Li-Ion ones!!!
i've found some local online stores but i can't trust them, they're selling lg batteries for a really cheap price, i don't think i'll receive what i see in their picture
and in some other stores i found it titled "Special Vape Battery" but it's really expensive, much more than it's price
i'm really having problems finding a suitable battery here :(

EDIT: another question, why do i need external charger? why not just charge with the mod and m-usb cable?

I had issues getting the tank apart when I first got this one too... the tank is designed to to be attached to the mod to remove the top... with the tank screwed onto the mod. pull up on the glass and the entire tank separates from the base. **NOTE - do not do this with a full tank of juice, it will spill.
The tip itself screws into the center post (I have to use a rubber grabby thing to remove the tip).

Oh guys i don't fcking get it!
i can't open it
and most people are saying that subox mini-c comes with protank5 but this thing is not a protank 5 it's subtank mini-c
and the other thing is that it doesn't really have juice flow control
mine has only two holes, i turn it, and just the same holes come back! i can just close/open juice flow, is that all?
in all the reviews i've seen so far the juice flow control changes to smaller holes
i've just watched a subtank mini-c review right now, it's almost the same as mine
i mean, mine doesn't %100 match subtank mini-c and not even protank 5
i'm so confused

i think you are talking about getting the coil or base out, i know how to do that and it's not a big deal
i can't get the top cap off, the mouthpiece or whatever it is called :((

On the Back of the box- what is the tank - it should tell you! They are all saying the Protank 5 ? What does your box say- also the instruction booklet should be able to tell you. Maybe you have to push down then twist off the top? Some of these tanks have child proof tops.
Also it looks like it pulls straight off. No twisting?

well, whatever i do, i can't get it to open, i'm afraid to break the tank otherwise i'd try much harder

yeah i have checked it all, it says subtank mini-c, the manual also says subtank mini-c
the kangertech website says protank 5, people say protank 5, and mine is just different than both! :|

anyway, i don't really think i use juice flow control, let's say it let's me open/close it, that's still a cool option, but i can't do anything with it if i can't fill it :/

At this point- I would fill it from the bottom since you can get that apart- not sure why your tank would be different? Just do not fill from the bottom too high or juice will spill, maybe almost to the center tube.
When you have the bottom off, can you push your finger up under the glass to get the top off, sometimes these new tank seals are pretty tight.
Try rubber dish gloves for grip.

OH MEEEEEEN! I opened it at last
just closed my eyes and pushed it hard, then turned the same time, it opened
but isn't it ridiculous? all that effort to open a tip? imagine you're refilling this tank outside!

YIPEEE !!!!!!

I have a Tobeco Super Tank Mini that was horrible to take apart for the first time, took me an hour and I have been using many tanks for vaping in over two years, I swear they glued it on- lucky there was a you tube video on this problem! Use a little eliquid on the seals( little rubber rings), helps to make it easier to remove- now my super Tank is easy to come apart!
