Well hello thereAlmost all of you has revealed your faces so here is mine i'll share it to you guys like it or not

And I'm kind of in the opposite boat. I need to get back to some basics for a bit. Made a regular old single wire clapton for my NC2 in series (well not total regular, It was a para-clap 38/40) and it is an extremely satisfying vape. I need to throw together a few sets of fused claps/Fraples and aliens/fralians, in different gauges, for practice and because when I get inspired I go off for a while without a good solid vape to fall back on

It seems like more people have been joining the fun lately in the builder's corner and I think that's awesome. My schedule as of recent has been extremely busy but I have to find time to make some "fancies" for the forum. More people involved in the builder's corner means more fun when it comes to posting our work so I'm over due for a nice looking build.
Everyone else is doing amazing work! Great shots @WPMac. You've done some awesome work lately I'm really impressed. And every time @raymo2u makes a post you know your in for a treat its a privilege to see what he does and he's very generous in taking the time to explain how he does it to us mere mortals. @Pegleg Meg is always trying something new which you have to love and admire and of course you can't forget the master of masters @mach1ne who's always here to support us and try to make us all better builders. This forum is as hot as I've ever seen it cause there are so many good builders that I'm missing out on mentioning but those people know who they are and they know I love their work!

My bathroom light blew and it takes special bulbs so while they are shipping Im stuck with one light to shoot with as the other light is shining in the bathroom..So shots are unfortunately darker than normal and less detailed.

I, personally, don't consider something a pitchfork without at least 2 tiers (can consider a stag base as 1 tier) prior to final fuse because it does have that 3 prong effect that gives it it's name. But that's just me. idk what you would call this outside of breaking down the individual techniques?!? Staggered half framed staple fused clapton?!? lol ... In the end it feels more like an SSFC variant than anything. Regardless of what you call it, it is a big beautiful monsterIm not sure what this is, a Pitchfork Variant or ??

Actually all jokes aside the wasp is great. More air flow than you need. Can fit Staples and such in there. Great Flavor

It's great except that it whistles at any of the more open air setting unless you inhale with just the right force. Gets a bit warm if you puff much, so I put a drip tip on it
Close it more than halfway and vape around 50w with the builds I've used in it is really nice, though

had a busy day off work today, but i got another chance to try to come up with a better build for the aromamizer plus on a single 21700. i planned out some stuff on steam engine and wasted most of my build time thinking. i ended up with a set of aliens that have a 316 core in between n80 cores (3x28/38 4.5 4mm wraps). its got a bit less mass than the last build i tried in here and a bit lower in resistance. they seem to vape great so far. quite similar in performance to the 3x27 n80 alien build i use in 'the tank'. im only half a tank into them so far so i dunno about efficiency yet, but they vape and taste great right now...
Tried a new build last night. It collapsed. No pic. Staggered 28 n80 frames and some twisted 30ss core. In theory it seemed like a great idea. Maybe my frames we're too small

Your frames was to small I think 26 should be frame size with 2x30 twisted

Once I got everything together I was thinking the same. It was more even across so the fusing went to shit. Almost looked like one of Crazy Chef gator coils for a min.

Well it didn't turn out the same as the last time I decored it. And I know why. I liked the last fuse better so I'll be redoing the coil in the near future. Buuuut ... here's the fruits of my experiment from the other day

I'm not sure if I turned the thing around after the first pic though, trying to get "the good side" haha. I'm pretty certain it was down to when I was fusing together. In the past I've been too used to just doing 2 cores and letting the drill fly, doing that with 3 cores though tends to bind them together for me. Need to get used to going slower with this build and more consistent to get it all even.All learning though, thanks again

Took me a long hard look to see what you meant - I can imagine you half-done and saying "COME ON KEEP FUSING PERFECTLY!!!!" and cranking down on the tension from excitement lmao
Or maybe I'm imagining myself - I've never even made a 3 core stagger fc, scared I dont have the patience yet
You could be right meg, I know I was saying to myself "this seems to be going well, let's try and speed this up" probably not the best idea. Oh well, each mistake is a lesson. This lesson said "don't get ahead of yourself" lmao

3 airflow inserts - this one is two small holes, there is a single hole option with slightly bigger hole that looks Vivi Nova-ish in sizeIt makes this adorable tiny whistle, just like my Speed rev. Mini does - it's so high and quiet it doesn't bug me
It's tight enough for me, and I do like super tight - like the 14mm Speed Revolution mini which is just...too "mini" lol
I have a NoFear rda and a Hastur on the way, too

i just caught onto the etna rda a couple days ago from a vendor post on the forums. nice to hear its a good vape. almost all my mtl'ing is done on kayfuns lately, but i have been kinda craving a mtl squonker setup for long excursions. with high enough nic in my kayfun+istick30w i can get through about two full days at work (just a little less than half a tank a day usually). same build in a single coil squonker on a better battery and a larger capacity juice bottle should be great.
an update for the last build i posted too...the battery finished a tank with a bit of life to spare/still hitting nice and hard. looks like a winner for now for me+aromamizer plus+single 21700 mech mods. i should try it on a 26650 as well tbh...now that i have a serviceable default build for this setup i can start working on something fancier

Awesome, that's a big victory! I love this Etna - the squonk style (coil wayyyy above the juice inlet) had me worried, because I hate that style on bigger RDAs (too slow to wick for me, can't soak coils) but it works just fine for a MTL build
and no leaks, would have to try hard to do that

I just tried to remake the 50g Aliens...failed horribly after the decore caught my sweatshirt and almost instantly overstretched all the wire. I still tried, it went on but with that weird pattern.

I will try it again... I can't hold much tension consistently, I depend on a almost perfect stretch and almost no tension
Basically have to with that high of a gauge, it sticks and catches on everything....including your fingerprints.

My fingers are pretty rough so I actually go over them with wet sanding paper to smooth them outMaybe next week
