this is why you test out single flavors first.. on many different set ups..
especially if you mix for others.. for just self.. do what you think taste good.
Good point.

Hi Daintanee. I have 2 dripping atomizers I use for testing. An Atomic built with 28g wire at 1.4 ohms, and a Venturi built with 24g wire at .6 ohms. Both are know for their superior flavor production. These are on a Sigelei 100 and 150 respectively. The only conclusion I can draw when testing side by side is that the warmer vape (the subohm) seems to have noticeably better flavor with the juice I tested. I tested both at 18 watts and also switched boxes. It still holds.

That was one juice containing maple syrup, custard, cake batter, and caramel. With other juices I don't know what will happen as this is the first time I did a side by side with both atomizers. If I find any big differences with other juices I'll let you know.

Not much to go on, I know. I believe Smoky Blue is right and you are going to have to find out for yourself.

Edit. I didn't answer your question, did I? I'll try. I understand that some flavors don't do well or burn at high temps. I believe HIC said that happens to FA cocoa. I also know from the commons here and on Vapors TV that cloud chasers often use toned down juices so that the flavor hit isn't too much for them. Less flavor required? I suppose. Well, that didn't help much either.
Haha! Kids and their toys! I guess they got the new I leaf 50 watt box and kanger sub ohm tank with .6 ohm coils. Friends of my oldest daughter, heck we treat them all like our own! I don't sell them juice I just charge them what it costs me to make it, plus they love you guys recipes. I made wllmcs banana coconut cream pie for them with a 50/50 blend and he says it rocks in his new set up! Kid likes his clouds! I told him he may have to buy juice somewhere or we can experiment! What buy juice? I'll come over, u expirament for me is the reply I get! I'm just laughing!!

Daintanee, I vape almost exclusively at 0.5Ohm, dual coil in my Magma (basically 2x 1Ohm coils in parallel, so technically it is not "sub-ohming" from a wattage per coil standpoint). I did drill an extra set of airholes in the base of the Magma to get the airflow I like. I mix VG nic base with VG and then flavors. I am not overly fond of the taste of PG and it irritates my throat a bit. I have a hard time tasting almost anything in any of the tanks and RBAs I have tried at 1Ohm and up but love the flavors in my RDA so I can't really comment on how taste might differ.

The only real issue I experience is with some mixes gunking up my coils faster than others.

Don't think I really added anything to the conversation, but I felt like posting something, it has been a while...

I'm vaping HIC's Cocoa Cookies that was mixed just about a month ago and it has only gotten better. It's like the best thing I've vaped in over a week. AND - this bottle is very high nic for me (around 20mg) and It's not really an issue somehow. I'm not getting that burning-my-mouth feeling I sometimes get with higher nic--especially if I've recently eaten or drunk anything. I wonder do other people have this experience with certain mixes--the nic feels more or less prominent? I'm not talking about the nic flavor, exactly--but the way it feels in my mouth. It never occurred to me that it would be different in different recipes, but this is very pronounced.

Oh, they think botboy is a god at reddit, so probably just confused if someone posts seriously excellent mixes. But that's a whole other story.

Speaking of Royal... I've been enjoying Royal Tobacco at 4% for a while now. The other day I was mixing up a fresh 30ml, decided to cut out a 3ml sample and a couple drops of Clove(~2%). I didn't think I liked clove much but... wow it's really good. I may need to dial back the percentages a bit but I'm going to be making Royal Clove instead of straight up Royal from now on.

You just have to pick on a tobacco I haven't gotten yet. Lol! Since I like your other recipes so much, I guess I am going to have to order some. Thanks for the reason to open my bottle of clove.

I've never really known what to do with clove. I briefly tried it by itself once and didn't think much of it. Mixed with Royal it brings out a unique sweetness and kinda covers up that little bit of menthol it has.

I won't do straight tabacco, but put clove in it and I'm there!

Yeah, it sounded like a good idea when I bought it, but since then I haven't found it called for in any recipes and I kind of forgot about it. While waiting for my order perhaps I'll try it in something else.

Oh yeah? Try Worcestershire straight sometime and see if you can keep your stomach intact. I did. I'll mix up some clove straight away. When hell freezes over.

Okay, Yes I searched to no resolve, I know it is here somewhere...anyway,

I was looking for a "Must Have" on FA flavors. I think it would be beneficial to get the more popular ones than try to stock up on all of them which I may not ever use.

Thanks in advance

I can't blame the weather; it's currently 70 degrees and heading to 75 here; sunny too. I blame my inner child for trying to escape to the outdoors.

I'll look for u too, this site is currently acting up! You can get trial sizes from mamajsjuice cheap. And it depends on what you like also. Obviously caddisfly and I disagree, j/k, look up in recipes section and see what u may like and write them down. We all have different tastes, but I know what you are asking as I recall reading it!

Heeheehee. Divorced in the 70's, single ever since. Of course, my theory might just be the cause of all that singleness.
I don't think so! I believe my husband shares your theory and keeps his mouth closed as well! He does mess with me wittily like with "your theory" and I made him a plaque for his office that says he graduated to a full ass! He just smirks at me!

Lol! Tell him I said "Good for him."

Now where were we. Since hell froze over in your neck of the woods, I just tried FA Clove at 2%. Pretty mild stuff. I'm going to add another 2%. Back soon.

What a pleasant vape. I tried it at 4% and upped the wattage to 21.5 watts on my brand new Sigelei 30Watt box mod. (another good reason to be single) It tasted great. I then tried it at 6% and that crossed some line. Too much. I'll dilute it back down to 4%. Now who has a good Ham flavor?

Anybody have a Joytech eGo ONE? I saw a video this morning on that other site and ordered one just for the hell of it. Really small and stealthy. I didn't think I wanted stealthy til I remembered how I used to take my little stick batteries and eVods into Wal-Mart and Smith's, etc. I havent been able to do that with the Segeli 100watt or Cloupor T6 LOL!! It's a damn shame I think I can't go 15 minutes without a TOOT!!

Everyone will get that, too, @Zeeli . Licorice is anise plus spices plus molasses/caramel. Irish Cream has chocolate, which is better with licorice than most people think. Doubters should definitely try out your recipe! What will you name it? It deserves a name.

And.... sold. I had 4 or 5 on my list to make for the weekend, but an "OMFG it's amazing!" will add one more, lol. There's a thread in the unlisted vendors section, people chatting about HIC's Mixes and I don't remember seeing that one reviewed, so thanks! I'll say Lemon Soda, Orange Soda and Blueberry Coconut Smoothie are amazing, as well!
Oh wow - might have to go get that one too :)
Ditto'd, lol. Hard to pass up after that, huh?
