This isn't a game post. It will never match. It's just something for a laugh.

I don't know how or why, but I saw the "angry Karen" video when it was first posted on YouTube, maybe from one of those side displays when you're watching one video, which leads you down the rabbit hole...

Anyway, this guy pirate sound tracks videos. He did a good job with the hysterical Karen and what happens when two people reach for the same pair of panties at Victoria's Secret. The Karen's faked faint is the most ridiculous thing.

Anyway the next person can resume the game by bouncing off Snap's "Take on Me" by A-ha.

She has such a pretty voice
She was a great artist and songwriter, 1933-2003. By the years she lived, you can see she dealt with the pain of being black in America, and ended up among the many mid-century black American artists and writers who lived their final years in France. The French love American black musicians and were sensitive to their civil rights issues, though the French have their own karma to deal with from the colonization of North African countries, with "les Arabes" who make up an underclass of immigrants in Europe. Anyway, I'm glad you enjoyed the song.

I love this. I discover so much that's new to me in this thread.

I'm trying to think if I've ever heard this particular hybrid, country hip hop (?). I really don't think I have. Generally country oriented musicians will sneer at hip hop, or at least they don't like it, and hip hop artists tend to be kind of oblivious to country style music.

But a friend of mine once laughed about hip-hop-phobia, saying that the tales of rebellion and trickery in story lines such as, say, "The Dukes of Hazzard" were considered funny, charming Americana, while the kind of protest nature of much of the hip hop genre made people consider it dangerous and trashy.

Attitudes have changed though.
