The pamphlet also said you had to do firmware update but was incorrect..

For those who have cancelled your order with GearBest: How long did it take to get your refund? Tempted to cancel and order from Wake and Vape but if it takes a few days to get the refund I might as well wait.
I got mine that day in a couple of hours. I've tried looking into wake and cape and was Unable to find the ipv4 on their sight. That doesn't means its not there I might just not be using the search function properly lol
I think I'm just going to cancel my order and go with Wake And Vape. Even after paying the extra for priority shipping I'll still save a few bucks. Plus I'll get a cool holster lol.

I just told GearBest to refund my money through paypal. Well, I told them but they said going to until they said it would take 3-5 days to do so. Might as well wait. We'll see if they cancelled or not when I wake up lol.

Ordered from wakenvape on Saturday was shipped yesterday so yes they are legit.
I don't get it. Why didn't they put the black sleeve on the black unit and silver on the silver. Maybe it's just me. Anyway if the paint on black ipv4 is the same as black ipv mini2 it won't matter because it will be silver in 2 months
I have not seen a picture of the final version. The best information I saw was a screenshot of an email from Evan at P4Y stating the black will have a black body AND black door. The image circulating is not of this configuration however. The email was specifically asking about the pic with the silver door, he said that was not the final version of black pictured.
With the taco shell batt cover a sleeve is not practical on the IPV4......get one in your hands and you'll better understand what I'm talking about.

my m80 from vaportek shit the bed too lol .. also ticked off about how long i waited for the goliath from them .. and they told me they were gonna get version 2 instead of version 1 .. might have been youdes fault but still
I figure screw it I'll just ride out the GB thing. Not in a big hurry for the ipv4 other than naturally just wanting what I paid for. I was worried that if I cancelled the GB knowing my luck when I got to Wet Vapes their in stock ipv4's would be gone and I would still end up waiting.

I'm in limbo right now. Canceled gb a week ago and ordered from vapenw. Still waiting for a confirmation email or something about my order. They said they received 100 units to fill their pre-orders and that they were getting more to fill the rest. I'm not sure which criteria I fall into though......lol
I talked to the man at VapeNW..he said they are expecting another shipment later this week..my brother just placed a pre order with them yesterday so I was curious and made the call..

Wake and Vape understandably must have been busy yesterday and night. After communicating and being told it would ship yesterday, I got my shipping label notice at around 2:30 am. I was asleep, lol. It's pre shipment, I expected that. It's unfortunate, but electronic shipping labels allows companies to print the label and fill it, but not drop it off. I am cool with it, as long as it gets picked up, or dropped off today. Gearbest fucked up, they're losing preorders left and right.

Yeah GB is really fucking up left and right. It's not helping that they keep extending pre-orders and not updating customers about when they will receive and place orders. They just take your money out and it could take months for you to receive any news. I had to hound them for info....even that was a run around.....so after a month of seeing my order in a constant state of "processing" I said enough is enough. I went elsewhere to vapenw. At least they are relatively informative. I'm hoping to see a shipping sometime next week....we shall see lol...only upside with GB is that they are very fast with refunds.....speaks volumes on their inept customer service that they are faster with refunds then shipping a damn product out....
i know this was asked before but has anyone had any experience with vapor range. i see they claim to have the silver ones in stock and am curious if they are worth dealing with over another company like wake and vape
Never used vapor range. But all I can say is damn you WakenVape. It's now selling ipv4 for $65 after vapingcheap code. I guess I can take a $10 hit Lol

The chip does have overheat protection, I believe, and she has a review in her blog that briefly goes over the TC feature. She doesn't seem interested in using it, but she knows it's there. The iPV4 page is down, I'm gonna make the crazy assumption that they sold out, lol. Because of that I can't check what the page listed, though I thought it listed both.Good luck if you have to explain a return though.
I really don't care, they have a good return policy if something's wrong, assuming they honor it. If I'm wrong and it was listed incorrectly, oh well. Almost every vape site screws something up in the listings. I'm confident she knows about the device after reading her write up. I do understand your position. I won't buy any Efest batteries due to their misquoting of specs. Just principal based on my disdain for a company lying, or misleading customers with info that could be dangerous.

I ordered my ipv 4 through them. I have the black one on preorder but the silver is in stock now.
I emailed vaporrange on a date they might ship the black and they said it could be a week or two. They offered me the silver if i wanted it now instead. They do have them in stock and got back to my email quickly.
Not fast for me, been 24 hours now since they said they would cancel my order and refund me, I do expect to wait up to a week to get my funds back to my paypal account, but they not even cancelled my order, still shows as processing still, maybe I'll end up with 2 IPV4's, least be 1 of each color if that happens

@st0nedpenguin fair enough. It hasn't changed since I first started looking Sunday. If it's DOA, it'll go back. Anything else within their 14 days, back to Wake and Vape, then it's Asmodus.
@Dan DePippo mind me asking why your Mini 2 went to Asmodus? I have one about a month old, it's been a great compliment to my iPV3. I'm curious what went wrong.
I'm debating selling my Mini 2 once I get the iPV4, but I doubt I can get enough money to make it worthwhile. It's a great device, and one battery depletes super fast, but I can use any of my 18650's. No marriage required. Might check what used ones are going for. It's flawless pretty much, and has a Vapor Skinz.

Man, I thought I canceled my pre order with VapeNW after I bought my current IPV4 from my local shop....well apparently that's not the case ...surprisingly I just got an email from them saying my silver IPV4 has shipped today with a tracking number... I thought the email might have been for confirmed cancelation and refund... But no sir, it was my mod has shipped!!
