An absolute classic
Hi Callum, welcome to the music game where you match any word from the song before yours to make your music post. It is a fun game to play and meet and play with a great group of people as well! .
Example: Bliss Doubt posted - Aleister Crowley the Great Beast Speaks
Then I SnapDragon posted- The Number Of The Beast- Iron Maiden
I matched the word Beast from her song post title.

“Kinship with all creatures of the earth, sky, and water was a real and active principle. In the animal and bird world there existed a brotherly feeling that kept us safe among them... The animals had rights - the right of man's protection, the right to live, the right to multiply, the right to freedom, and the right to man's indebtedness. This concept of life and its relations filled us with the joy and mystery of living; it gave us reverence for all life; it made a place for all things in the scheme of existence with equal importance to all.”
― Chief Luther Standing Bear

On This Date in 1966 -FM Rock Alternative Radio was born
  • July 30, 1966 was the date that RKO General Broadcasting launched WOR-FM, the first “free format” major market FM Rock station in the country.
  • The original WOR-FM disc jockey lineup included: Scott Muni (formerly of WABC and WMCA), Murray “the K” Kaufman (formerly of WINS), Rosko (Bill Mercer) and Johnny Michaels.
  • As a fourteen-year-old boy, I abandoned my AM transistor radio and moved my father's bulky Magnavox FM receiver into my room to listen to the big change that came to radio via this newborn frequency. For kids of my generation, this was the Golden Age of Radio.
  • Jimi Hendrix at WOR-FM stuudios, 1967

That rascal of a raccoon was back, but this time messed with another hummer feeder. I thought all was lost for this one, but YEY, it wasn't broken and this be the good thing for the day.
I moved it to hopefully keep it safe. Too bad the petroleum jelly doesn't work on raccoons, lol.
