To my taste buds, if you ignore the fact that a jalapeno has a tiny bit of heat and a standard bell pepper doesn't, they basically taste the same. Perhaps my tastebuds perceive it differently than other peoples, but to me the flavor is almost identical if you ignore the heat difference. So that makes me wonder why...

Jalapeno and bell pepper taste different to me, the bell pepper more strong and nightshady, the jalapeno more fruity. Often if a recipe calls for bell pepper I'll substitute jalapeno for the better flavor.

Jean made me an appointment today to go visit the vampires, she says I look like I feel bad. I never did get my last results because their machine was down and I woulda had to go back and have blood drawn again. So I'll find out in a few weeks if it's anything to worry about :rolleyes:
