Never be afraid that the top medical people are 'not available' or 'not willing' to work with you..Here is the guy I found to do Sherri's surgery and care.. VERY nice and VERY helpful fellow. Just 'cause he did Supreme Court and Senator's surgeries, didnt mean he didnt have time for us 'little people'.. Love the man :) : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marty_Makary

Isn't part of the problem is they keep changing the diagnosis ? First it was cysts/ fibroids then it wasn't. Do they feel once they find out exactly what the problem is then they will perhaps have a solution?
Seems like they are over testing...That's a big problem here...A good Dr shouldn't have to run a Million tests...I watched this documentary a few mounts ago..It's on netflix if anyone is interested

That's a very interesting clip , thanks for sharing. First off let it be known I am no fan of doctors. I think it must be hard for doctors because they test and test and they get in trouble or they run too few tests and get sued when something goes wrong .

It's a cultural thing ....The US is rated 37th in the world in heath care....If you have a chance you should watch the whole Documentary

I just finished speaking with him and strongly suggested that the manufacturer of the items be a part of the descriptions. I was assured that this will be addressed pronto.

Snoopy , how is your son today ?
He's doing okay. Has complained about pain off and on just under his rib cage on the right side, which is concerning because he doesn't really feel pain normally.
He is going in for a bunch of blood work and x-rays Wed and a followup on Thursday and his ped is working on getting him an appt with a pediatric GI specialist.
Thanks for asking :)
How are you faring up there? It's damned cold down here in Indiana as @Midniteoyl mentioned earlier.

Yes we can -40 weather with wind chills into the 50's late in the season. We normally get a couple weeks in the winter when nobody shuts their trucks off.

This is probably going to sound a bit funny, but I partied with the "cast" of the RHPS of a theater in Tucson Arizona when I was in college, but actually saw the movie for the first time a couple of months ago, 25 years later!

I shall never visit. HOW IS IT (I know why actually) that you can be that obscenely cold whilst I am from farther north, and the coldest is gets there is 29?

I am just so darn lucky . You know the weather is very cold, prices are really high but there are some really great things here as well. We are surrounded by mountain and wilderness and there something so special about so much land that has not been touched. Another great thing is the northern lights. The northern lights are breathtaking and if you are to be so lucky to be close to where they are and they dance around you it is something almost spiritual to behold.

I saw a bit of a trend forming until you threw in Camryn (had to lookup the name, but instantly recognized the face) and even Siouxsie is a bit straying but the facial features seem to pull her back in, that and the eclectic singing sort of fits (yep, I owned a few albums too).
Let me guess... you've got a thing for @kelli too... ;)

I love the idea of no neighbors anywhere in sight. My dream home is on 1000 acres surrounded by national forest to ensure that I never have a neighbor. Probably one of the biggest reasons why I don't really mind being a shut-in now :)
I think I could live where you are, but I'd have to have a summer house someplace where there was a LOT more darkness because I don't think I could handle all that light all the time.

All the light proves to be fun when having people over for a barbeque. You just make sure you have really great blinds to block the light so you can sleep.

I think it would be safe to say that I love women in general. As I have said before....beauty never fades, it merely develops a certain patina. Camryn has this something I really cannae define...I think it really came together when I read her book "I'm fat, get over it". OH...I also would date Helen Mirren without a seconds thought.

Indeed! My brother had an ex girlfriend on Shetland who's father made some gizmo that allowed one to actually hear the lights on a tube radio.

Helen is quite the woman, along with Rachel Welch and Sophia Loren.

That being said I've always had a thing for Mary Stuart Masterson... But she needs to cut her hair short again... I prefer short hair on most women.

Wee two bedroom log home on 10 acres of heavily wooded land.....no neighbors for miles, yet not too far frae a city in case I come close to death which does happen from time to time. Adjacent to the home would be a very wee chapel built into the ground. Mahoosive covered porch and a stone hearth. No sounds but nature and my own breathing.

I deleted my comments about a certain medical topic earlier. And for the record....ANY AND ALL coincidental tidbits regarding ANY SUPPOSED links betwixt and between myself and ANY OTHER FEMALE on this forum are unequivocally false and will at not time in the age of mankind and certain celestial bodies...be true nor may they EVER come to pass in any way other than textual.......so help me God.........and stuff.
