I am not attacking any faith....nor am I inferring that any given religion is perfect and peaceful. But if you choose to go that route be my guest...I am not ignorant to the frailties of my religion's past doctrines.

Want me to start listing the crimes of the Catholic Church, or just Christianity in General?

It's a zero-sum game m8...I don't wish to play. ;)
Actually...don't bother....somehow I am not surprised you took that tack.

No worries, I was just posting a counter-point to your posting. ;-)

Ha, you don't know me man.

I used to be a youth pastor's assistant and also taught Sunday School. I went in the field and witnessed/ministered to the homeless and bikers in the park after dark. I went to the possessed and demoniacally afflicted and prayed over them....Christianity was my life.

Now, it is not.

For a Franciscan Friar, you sure are sensitive...

Well, didn't you say you were Buddhist previously?

I only meant that of all the world's religions, that one doesn't kill for it's own sake or survival, it doesn't force anyone to be a part of it, and like you said, it's grasp of metaphysical concepts in relation to everyday life is rather nice. :)
Probably because it isn't a religion ;)

Oh pfft..belief system/religion, whatever you call it....it's just words...you know what I meant.

Man can't describe a God. If he could, it would not be a God.

Maybe political and religious debates are better in the PMs. To counterpoint, Buddhism is one of the 5 major world religions. I didn't make that up, just a fact and that's all I'm saying. I'm innocent. All I said was I love Tesla!

Agree.

Have you seen this?

It is one of the better docs on him IMO. Albeit in a dramatic fashion. But, they used an actual Serb actor to play him, it's uncanny. The great irony: his mother was an illiterate inventor and his father a priest....such a lovely convection of purposes. I believe, much like him, that you need to know both science and the world of the metaphysical to understand the Universe. They will be merging into the same knowledge, one day.

Apologies for the crappy quality, if you like it, I can likely find better.

The Secret of Nikola Tesla (Serbo-Croatian: Tajna Nikole Tesle), is a 1980 Yugoslav biographical film which details events in the life of legendary inventor Nikola Tesla (portrayed by Serbian actor Petar Božović), born to ethnic Serb parents in 1856 Croatia (at the time, part of the Austro-Hungarian Empire), who arrived in New York in 1884, became American citizen in 1891, made immense contributions to science, and died in New York at age 86, during the middle of World War II in 1943.

Croatian director Krsto Papić assembled a cast which includes three American actors playing iconic personalities of 19th and early 20th century America, J. P. Morgan (1837--1913), Thomas Edison (1847--1931) and George Westinghouse (1846--1914). Morgan is portrayed by Orson Welles, while Croatian actress Oja Kodar, Welles' companion for the last 24 years of his life, has the role of Katharine Johnson (1855--1924), with whom Tesla corresponded for many years, and whose husband, Robert Underwood Johnson (1853--1937) (portrayed by Croatian actor Boris Buzančić) was a poet, scholar, diplomat and Tesla's longtime friend and supporter. The other Americans in the cast are character actors Strother Martin (who died six weeks before the film's September 12, 1980 English-language premiere at the Toronto Film Festival) and Dennis Patrick as Westinghouse and Edison, respectively.

Because the pain clinic could not find anybody to do the nerve block I suggested they refer me to the specialist I've been trying to go to for 6 months. he specializes in pelvic pain and does nerve blocks so I'm assuming he will do the pudendal nerve block. Unfortunately he does not take insurance at the moment I would have to pay out of pocket and then try and get insurance to reimburse me I was trying to avoid that but I don't see any other solution

They require a $200 deposit just to make an appointment so I was a little leery of the whole thing

Although I haven't heard of deposits for Dr. Apts or to secure an apt, it would be smart to ask them what you need to sign when making that deposit and reading it through very good, beforehand. I don't know what the laws are in your area about asking this type of thing before an apt so I would look up that as well. But I think you should do what you can as soon as you can to see a specialist like you are talking about.

Just mixed a little bottle of razz and black berry with just a hint of vanilla ice cream.
Been hating this vanilla ice cream flavoring. And have had very little success with it.
But this is a mighty tasty vape.
Think I am way better off just using the vanilla ice cream in small amounts as a subtle creamy note.

It sounds yummy!!
I'm pretty pleased with it. :D

I've been playing around with custards, sweet creams and the vanilla ice cream quite a bit lately.
I think I'm getting a little bit better idea of how to use them.
lol even came up with a pretty good skittles sweet cream vape that I've been vaping for the last four days straight.o_O
