FRINGES HEATED JACKET REVIEW

I have a Milwaukee® M12™ Heated Jacket. :)
Back when I got mine, Milwaukee was the best one on the market,
but they have been making them a few years longer than the others.

My opinion, ;)

I never considered Venture Heat because of there proprietary batteries.
http://www.ventureheat.com/23-related-parts
Where Milwaukee, Bosch, and DeWALT batteries can also be used in their tools.

Milwaukee
Washer & Dryer Safe :):):)
5 pockets :) one is a cargo net
Heated hand Pockets :):)
Battery is on the side :)
The battery can be replaced without taking off the jacket, but not as easily as the Bosch. o_O
12 volt or 18 Volt with an 18 volt adapter. o_O
Battery level gauge. :)
Portable battery pack that can be carried and used without jacket, can be used as a back up power source :)
USB port. :)
Controls are on the outside of jacket. :)
Biggest variety of jackets including hoodies. :)
No HOOD :(:(
They do make other jackets with hoods :)
The one I got doesn't have a hood :( so on a cold windy day I have to wear a hat ( beanie ) or a hoodie underneath the jacket.
I have used this jacket indoors while sitting at my desk for a sore back, it works as good as a heating pad. :)

Bosch :)
Five internal and external pockets :)
Battery is really really easy to get too :)
The battery is on the front inside, left hand side :)
Some people I talked too said when they sit down the battery digs into their beer belly.
But this is probably not a concern for skinny people :teehee:
12 volt
USB Port :)
Portable battery pack that can be carried and used without jacket. :)
Only make one type/style jacket o_O
Controls on the outside of jacket. :)
No Hood :(
Left handed Zipper. :(
Hand Washable only. :(:(

I am told Bosch has the hottest temp. :)

DeWALT makes the most rugged looking jacket :)
First time I seen one I thought it was a Carhartt jacket. :)
3 pockets
12 or 20 volt. :)
Battery is in a terrible place :(
Battery is on the back of the jacket, not only digs into your back when you sit :(
but you have to take off the jacket to replace battery. :(:(
Portable battery pack that can be carried and used without jacket. :)
Battery level meter. :)
TWO USB ports :) :)
HOOD :):)
Controls on the inside of jacket :(
which means you have to unzip and let the heat out to access the controls.:(
When I got mine they only had Hand Washable jackets only. :(
Now they have Machine Washable :):)

Heated Jackets work better when tight to the body,
think of it as a heating pad, if it's not touching you, it's not going to work as good.

Battery life on all of these seems to be close to the same.
Weather and even a persons body heat can make battery times vary.

If a person already has cordless tools and batteries, then they might want to stick to what they already have batteries and a charger for.
When I got mine there were only them 3 to pick from, but now there's a couple more companies making them like Makita and ororo.

Rather unnecessary. It's not fucking Antarctica. lol
Heated Jackets are one of them things if you never had one, you don't know what your missing,
and when you get one, You don't know how you lived without one. :teehee:
Every job I been on since I got my jacket at least one person has ended up buying one before I left that job.
Especially people that ride motorcycles, mainly because they don't have to plug them into their bike, and they work without the bike.

Pffffffft, there's at least one cute girl to see. I'd say we have Cleveland too but that's nothing to brag about.

Who am I kidding, I hate this place more than anyone but I'm stuck here for a while. At least Tony is willing to stick it out with me
one beautiful woman there to see.

keyword= "should"

unfortunately.. in my limited forum experience I have met the love of my life, some people I would call good friends; however, for each good person I have met, I have met 50 complete and utter douchebags.

AND........I was the match maker, didn't kno it, but I'm still gonna pat myself on the back ;)

But you've also met a lot of "imaginary friends too". Doesn't that count for something?

:teehee::teehee::teehee::teehee::teehee:

Morning buttheads!
