that bottom magnet. mine doesn't have that
Huh what ?
Sounded like you were saying your door doesn't have that bottom magnet. Just showing mine with the magnet. Maybe that's not what you meant.
Got it. Misread your post.i was referring to the cracking gadget has around the bottom magnet. mine do not have that.
Got it. Misread your post.
,i still can't believe how nice these mods are for as cheap as they were.

Yeah, that's my favorite too,the other was just a why not since their so cheap haha.Although that one is growing on me too,but it's not nearly as nice as the other.i know, they have really grown on me. i like the right stab, is that real stab ?
do you have mesh in those ?

Yeah, they are real stab wood, these are both from the sale at FVS.They came with matching buttons too.Mine were both a bit rough when i got them, they put lacquer or something on them and it had fairly heavy brush marks in them,so i sanded both smooth and polished with micro mesh pads.
On the rda's,yes that's all i use anymore is the Profile with mesh,i have 18 of them haha.
As long as you like high power, they work really well on a mech,on a fresh battery, they will hit pretty close to 90 watts at the start with the Wotofo mesh, which is around .18 ohms or so.But it settles down pretty quick as the battery drains down.I run that rda on mechs and regulated, but prefer it on the mechs more,i always use a good battery though, either the Samsung 20S or the Molicell P26 i think it's called.ok, i was wondering how the mesh did on a mech. .... i didn't get in on the stab doors, so i made my own.

I plan to make a couple stab wood doors for a few of my other mods, especially the Little Orca,at some point.I found some pretty nice stab wood knife scales on ebay that would work perfectly for making doors for a lot of the box mods out there.
I am going to regret not ordering one of these. I just know it. Sigh.
why are you not ? i thought about buying a bunch of them. then 6 months from now, sell em for $50 each
Seven Grandchildren and Christmas.
Yeah,i've went through that with a couple stab wood pen blanks, they have always been close, but had a few that had unexpected colors mixed in.The seller i've bought some other non stab wood knife scales from also sells some stab, but he puts in his listings that what you see in the picture is wiped down with mineral oil to really show the color, but the one you see is what you'll get.I see a bunch though that will put a picture, then say actual item may differ haha,i want to see exactly what i'm buying before i buy it.i will give it a try, thanxx
the stabs blanks. just know, that the color you see online, could very well may not be the color you end up with. they do "tricks" to make em look more bling than they really are. saying that, if you don't need an exact color match, you'l still be happy with it.
Yeah, back when i got my Orca,i wanted to make a stab door then, but never got around to it,now i really don't use that mod,so it had gotten forgot about until recently. That 2nd door i had bought to sand down to fit the Orca since they were so cheap, but since i got another of these mods,i still want a new door for the Orca haha.I made a mirrored plastic door for it,they are pretty simple to make since it's just a flat door and no drilling for magnets,so i figure knife scales that are close to the same thickness will be pretty easy to get done with just a bit of cutting and sanding.Stabwood for the Orca would be cool. I've got a couple regular doors but would be unique with a stabwood door
You have to unscrew the splined piece inside then the nut above it moves the 510 up or down it might be reverse threaded thoughMy latest armageddon mod has arrived. The earlier ones 510 was fine. The new one needs adjusting as all attys have a huge gap. HOW THE FUCK DOES IT ADJUST? Have the right size allen wrench and no matter which way I go it doesn't go up or down. What am I doing wrong?
I got it by accident. Shit I had just about everything unscrewed.
Preach it!Thank goodness for VU. I'd never have figured that out without help.
The red is nice. I only have black and white. Missed all the colors.I got my new Armageddon up and running thanks to some awesome coils from @zephyr. Thank you they are great!!
Also, thank you to VU for all the great advice!
You might want to call them. The other night I looked at their stock and they had about 20 color combos listed (black, white, blue, green, red, yellow, orange and clear bodies and doors) and I freaked out thinking they found the mother lode of remaining stock. Spent a while trying to add an orange/yellow door to my cart and it wouldn't let me. So I called them the next day and talked to Matt; he said he mistakenly unmasked all the colors, and immediately changed the website again. So I asked him what colors they had in odds and ends and he went back to the stock room and found me a red/red door, blue/blue door, and green/green door. They were shipped yesterday. Nice guy to talk to and he was quite accommodating to take his time to look for colors. He said the orange or yellow (can't remember which) was a V1 only. Really wanted that combo but he didn't have any.The red is nice. I only have black and white. Missed all the colors.
Honestly I'm good. Have 3 of them and getting any more is risking serious bodily injury and possibly a divorce. You might want to call them. Interestingly, he said that not all doors will cross swap due to polarity. I could hear him checking doors on as he was pulling colors for me. They must have been randomly putting magnets in either way.
You can blame me if it helps. Blaming you is not helping here, but YMMV.Honestly I'm good. Have 3 of them and getting any more is risking serious bodily injury and possibly a divorce.
I've spoken to Matt twice. He does seem like a really good guy. It's really cool how he calls you if you send an email with a question.
It won't. LOLYou can blame me if it helps. Blaming you is not helping here, but YMMV.

Did you by any chance put one of the new bottles in it?hey, can someone give advice on maintaining these. it may not even be the Arma, but i seem have to push the button harder.

I have a V3 that I put one of the new bottles in and the cap was pushing into the battery when you pressed the fire bottom.
It was an easy fix, I just took a Dremel (a small file would work) and shaved s not of the cap shoulder.

These mods "spark" and get a tarnish on the contacts quite regularly.
It will cause voltage drop or even a delay in firing.
Slip a piece of paper (i use little strips cut from a manilla folder actually) in between where the button makes contact, push the button so it's squeezing the paper, and pull the strip out - you'll see a little black line where it's wiping off the tarnish. A couple swipes and it'll fire like new.
You can prevent or at least delay this tarnish a bit by putting a drop of Deoxit Gold on the paper first.
That's the bottle I am talking about, the shoulder on those bottles is the full width of the bottle.all i have used is the $1 bottles. the bottle and the batt are in there tight. not over tight, but no slop at all.
what are you implying, that the cap is pushing the batt out of contact ?
also, i have been noticing this happening on my Purge box.
That's the bottle I am talking about, the shoulder on those bottles is the full width of the bottle.
What it is doing is making the contact bar come into contact with the battery and the bar making the bar slightly constricted.
The easy way to find out is take the battery out and see if the fire button is easy to push again.

3.19mmdo you have calipers handy ? measure the body thickness on the battery side.
nice trick, seems to have worked. there isn't much color difference on the printer paper i used. but i bet there shouldn't be.
now, how will this wear on the silver ?
That picture is a V3 and the battery is a 20650, so yes it is wider. I used that one to emphasize what I was talking about.= .125" . mine is .121"
so thats nothing. your battery is a lot closer to the 510 than mine is. it looks like you have a 21650 in there.

The silver internals are easy to make as well for this Armageddon as wellThat is indeed the problem - it's silver plated, so it could wear away...
Best you can do I think is
a) use Deoxit to minimize arcing in the first place
b) consider it's silver plate, not gonna last forever, you get what you pay for, lol. Still a good mod, but if you want full silver internals, you'll have to make 'em!

They are the same basically, they just made a little more room to accommodate the bigger battery.i wasn't sure what the V3 was. i wonder what size your box is ? looks like they could be the same.
