Food of my people:

35187.jpg

It is official in some encyclopedic gourmet cookbook recognized globally, West Virginia created Pepperoni Rolls. Don't want cheese? We can add sausage, onions, mushrooms, all kinds of goodies.

Doing a bit better foot wise. Still not putting full weight on part of the foot but am able to shuffle a bit without a crutch. The muscles / tendons in the ankle are not so inflamed and torqued "out of place" now. Feels as they are "smoothing" back out, still healing but less discomforted. Go Thursday to see the foot doctor. Hoping he agrees I seem on the mend more.

Hugs all around and hope y'all are running 'er slow.

Morning!

All is well here, not much of anything going on. Hubby watches football, Jessie either sleeps or is out on the deck most of the time. She does manage to come in at treat time. I'm either on the laptop or reading. Not a bad thing!

Stay safe and healthy

Kind of a weird day...but not terrible. ;)

Watched the election crap awhile this morning, then walked to the Discount store to get some Dearfoams Slippers that they had advertised on FB. Pretty damn awesome....these things are expensive usually.

I got two pairs, one still in the box, one out of the box, plus some other goodies for about $22. Woohoo!!

Yes, the pair out-of-box was $4, the still boxed one was 7.90. Different styles too. :D

Haven't checked in for some time...
Wife, myself and our two doggies are well. Wife is working from home still, no date yet for potential return to office for her. I'm busy as ever with my residential painting business.

Been suffering from lower back and shoulder pain for quite some time. Got into a pain management specialist. They found that my degenerative arthritis in my back is progressing. Significant signs in lower l3 l4 and l5 vertebrae as well as in the upper back/lower neck.

Today I went in for facet block injections. They knocked me out and did 6 injections in my lower back, needle went right in between the affected vertebrae with steroids and pain blockers. Looks like I'll be going back to do the same for the upper back neck issue. Hopefully it helps. I haven't slept more than 3 or 4 full hours a night in several months from the pain. Been doing physical therapy three times a week for the last two months.

Not even 40 years old yet, and I'm falling apart!

I'm glad you saw a pain specialist! I've been treated for my back in the same regions since your age and have felt like I've been falling apart for years. I'm sorry you're in so much pain. I truly hope the injection therapy works well and for a long time. I assume they have you on pain meds and nerve meds. It's hard to function on the meds alone!

I'm being treated for both the lower lumbar and upper cervical spine. Actually no shots in the upper spine yet although it was recommended. I'll bring up facet block injection when I go next. That sounds terrible to have 6 injections but at least they put you under.

Aside from continued injection therapy I pray they don't send you to a back surgeon. The options he gives you won't be ones of relief. ?

I am currently on no pain or nerve meds. Have not been on any for many years. I was when I was younger. I injured my back at age 24. Herniated 3 discs with nerve damage in 5 vertebrae. That's when we discovered the degenerative arthritis. Seen a different pain management specialist then, he wanted to fuse two lower vertebrae, but said I was too young for that, so they doped me up instead. I stopped taking drugs and just dealt with the pain due to addiction issues. Now I'm older, and I am not dealing with the pain so well anymore.

Morning!

All is well here. Yesterday in the 80's, house all opened up. Felt so good. Jessie spent most of the day out on the deck. Of course she was always on time for her treats! Hubby spent time in his shop, out from under my feet, lol. I did my chores, now waiting on my BCF order to get here.

Stay safe and healthy

Nothing new here, same old. Pretty day, Jessie is feeling feisty, Hubby is in his shop.

stay safe and healthy

Glad things are a bit better today for ya, I know the days can drag sometimes and I got a VERY fiesty kitteh as well. Milly's been getting on my nerves lately just going bonkers running/merrowing/etc. I know, she's a young cat still, but eeeesh! :D

It actually helps us if I can get out of the Apt once in awhile, like I used to do more.
I think we all need our space and some time to just have fun sometimes....a bit of change from SSDD.

To that end and to get a pair of headphones Milly either can't break or if she does, I won't care....I went back to the Thrift Store this morning and found a decent cheap pair for my TV/Movie watching at night. They come with a 1/4" adapter that just unscrews from the 1/8" plug...nifty for my old stereo.

Along with a few other goodies I just couldn't resist. Cost me just $6 total for this haul:

Photo-bombing Milly is always included...
2N6BZeLl.jpg

Tough to photograph the markings...
DeCYSuyl.jpg

A legit EU 500ml glass though, even has the requisite 500ml Line mark.
It fits an American 473ml Pint perfect as well. ;-)
LDKba6Yl.jpg

That beer glass is beautiful.
A simplistic yet classic shape that is so well designed and comfy to hold, made in Italy, and it's vintage Fidenza glassware. Likely from the 1970s-80s. Infos: https://www.glassmessages.com/index.php?topic=2305.0

A Martha Stewart queen-sized fleece top sheet (or blanket/bed for Milly)

A Seahawks "12" winter hat...love it.

And, a big cushy purple bath towel...because purple is awesome.
m1922.gif

I gotta go and do a dang phone appt. for my energy assistance this year thanks to COVID..argh...so much faster and easier in person. Wish me luck!! ;)

TC and Be Well folks!

I went through a phase when I was mad about flatware. I started off buying some old silverplate that reminded me of my favorite Aunt's pattern that we used when I was a kid. That morphed into a bona-fide obsession with all kinds of vintage flatware. I got a set of Dansk Pearl silverplate, some mid-century modern Towle stuff, and then I saw this 1940s-era set of grungy silverplate that I fell in love with the pattern but it was tarnished and just terrible looking. I bid on it and got it, including shipping, for about $15.

The box came and I opened it up. The set I bid on was, I think, 24 pieces....but there were more than 24 pieces in the box. It was all tarnished and nasty, so I got the silver cleaner and a pan of water and got to scrubbing.

I had the 24 pieces of the pattern I ordered, plus....

An 1813 Eley, Fearn, and Chawner Kings pattern solid sterling gravy ladle

similar to this: 1604705126344.png

A 1781 Fiddle pattern large serving spoon, maker I don't remember

like this:

1604705189805.png

Three English solid silver demitasse or baby spoons, about 3.5" long, from about 1840 (couldn't find any pics like these, but handles are decorated kind of like this example:)

1604706950899.png

A couple of George III-era Fiddle-pattern teaspoons

1604705843737.png

And a small handful of other pieces that I don't remember details on, all sterling except for one piece of coin silver.

The nice thing about silver from the UK is that it's stamped, so you can tell who the monarch was, the location where it was certified/taxed, the metal marking (sterling or plate), and the maker. There are pages on the Internet where you can go and look those markings up.

This is the Eley, Fearn, and Chawner mark:

1604706068095.png

I cut small pieces of paper and noted all the details on each piece, wrapped them in plastic, and stored them in a cedar chest.

I was so excited I couldn't stop talking about this for weeks afterwards. It was like finding a treasure!

Those are gorgeous, wotta deal!!

I have some old siverware too, just a few iced tea spoons from the late 1800s. I should dig them out..hehehe. I know the feeling though, I love finding those serendipitous treasures.

Funny thing: when I googled those headphones I got for $2.50 just now, I found out they are made for kid's learning centers....LOL!!

No wonder they are so sturdy. ?

Good morning peeps, a nice and quiet Saturday thus far.

It's seasonable chilly and my phone-in Energy Assistance Appt went great yesterday. I got a nice gal and we chatted quite a bit...she has a big Maine C.o.o.n cat so we got on well. She really wanted to help and was happy I understood that all this COVID-brought craziness was just as hard on her and her hectic job. Having to do like 45,000 + appointments **all** by phone now is unreal...IDK how they do it.

Pretty average weather for this time of year, finally. :)

Snap2.jpg

Woke early on account of a cold wet nose being pushed in my face...lol...Ms Milly wanted meat.
Fed her, made the almighty coffee and heated up some bean & bacon soup. Added some leftover corned beef and made croutons out of leftover pizza crusts I'd cut off, much much nomz.

R4TOi2M.jpg

Milly went back to sleep and I tucked her in. She likes her new "blanket" AKA my new fuzzy sheet...the camera not so much. Baleful Eye is Go....

Be Safe and Well....

Know that in the case of all the extra unemployment claims from 'rona, here in WV they used call banks staffed by Manpower. It is how my wife got a foot in the door and now works as a state employee. Hoping I will still retain a job after Dec. 17th. I'm off of that due to the bum foot. Plan on taking them a doctors note/letter. Not sure it'll spare my substituting county job though. I hope but also know the realities.

Thanks for reminding me of coffee. The reminder has led to me wanting a cup, now. Will go make one and enjoy. May play some xshishen-show.

Hmm, I dunno. This gal wasn't a temp for sure as she remembered me from before.

I doubt they could use temps as they have access to bank records, utility bills, Social Security records, and more to do their jobs. I doubt a temp could get that kind of clearance? They also do all their own hiring.

Plus, this isn't a State thing per se, it's local. This: https://www.snapenergyassistance.org/Home

It's the Energy Assistance arm of the local SNAP program, which does co-ordinate funds from many sources. Spokane county is near half a million population, most of which is here in the Metro area. So, quite a different scenario I'd think.

Ah, okay. Well there's also LIEAP Low Income Energy Assistance Program which is the same kind of thing handled by state Department/s Of Human Resources. The SNAP I was thinking of is the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, also handled by Department/s of Human Resources. As far as I know, they do at times hire in temp workers. Not saying the lady you spoke with was/is a temp, though it may be possible.

Temp service companies like Manpower, Kelly's have their employees sign NDAs (Non Disclosure Agreement/s) and they do some stiff background checking too. The temp companies are also on the hook to speak for preserving confidentiality & security. States can drop one temp company for another if one keeps sending them crooks for example, plus file suits.

My wife had access to bank records, job information, medical and so forth with dealing with the unemployment calls. She was working as a hired in from temp company worker. Finally she got the required 500 or so hours needed, they bumped her up to working in the fraud division as a State temporary worker. Now, she's hired in full time to do interviews for various aspects of employment, government assistance projects.

It was kind of funny when she did her turn in the fraud section. Six people on FakeBook messenger tried getting me on scams. I sent her their handles and she got them either busted or looked into. Her bosses chuckled and gave her extra credit for it.

And a minor complaint, sometimes being honest folks doesn't pay. She thought I could file for unemployment and get the bonuses from 'Rona. At that time I had not been hired for the custodian job. I was unemployed but I'm one those what fell off the dole, quite a while back. She double checked, signed me up.

Later on when in the fraud section, she double checked again with the manual they used. It was still a bit vague on the issue. Then, she asked her bosses. We ended up giving the "magic money card" back and it had roughly $17,000 on it. As we'd not spent any of it and I was not really on the unemployment roster, no harm no foul according to her bosses. It was just a bit sad to see extra money go bye bye. Oh well, rather be honest than a crook.

ETA: By the by, my coffee was good. :)

Ya, the big difference here is State VS Fed VS Local. It's a big fat mess. :D

I get SSI/SSA monies which ares Federal, I also get EBT food benefits only, those are State.

Then, there is the County/City Energy Assistance which is once a year sort of thing to help folks with utilities.

I'm not on Sec8 though, there hasn't even been a waiting list for that in this county since 2016.

I think LIEAP mostly applies here to properties, not individuals. There are like 12 official housing-approved buildings and many more individual properties, but basically someone has to die or be evicted to get into those. I'm not over 62, so Senior stuff is out for me too. I can apply to get into one of those 12 official buildings, but that is huge process that takes months if not years.

No clue if my building gets any tax or other benefits from or for it's low-income residents, they won't tell me.

This is the main site for housing stuff in this area: https://www.spokanehousing.org/

Here are just some of the myriad of confusing options for housing: https://www.spokanehousing.org/wp-c...Housing_Homeless_Resources_2020_GUIDE_HAP.pdf

GL diving through that mess...lol

Thanks for extra oomph! I got it, and have the sft's going.

Nada, love that flatware! You made a brilliant buy!

Not much here, down in the 70's. About right for November. Hubby is getting better little by little. Jessie is being a cuddle baby this morning, she'll head to the deck soon. I need to add my new flavorings to my list and look up recipes. Hugs headed out to you all.

Stay safe and healthy

I cleaned up my living room "command center" and got it all ready for football:

IMG_20201107_071358.jpg IMG_20201107_074438.jpg

That is a metric crapton of wood and 1/4" glass coffee table...olde skool. And I love it.

Then right about 8AM, this unholy noise starts up.

it's deafening and it's not even at my building. Looks like Utility workers...maybe moving that pole away from the tree?? Milly is losing her mid....and I can't even hear a thing in my own Apt..

IDK, hope I don't lose power with no warning.

Uh, ... There was a brief wait for me and wife back in the last part of 2018 here. Me and her went on Section 8 to get into a HUD apartment. We were there until the wife worked a bit too much a month or two. Next time evaluation come up they priced the rent an extra hundred dollars because she made ten bucks more on a few paychecks.

Our planning was to be at the apartment until we had for downpayment for our own place. We're thinking of using some USDA help, rural development/first time home buyer mortgage. Rates are just too nice to pass up and they're locked in for thirty years. We're thinking a monthly of $200 - $300, which is in our budget.

As it is currently, we're back to living with her sister and bro in law. We actually have a room in a hovel really. Eventually we're going to get our own place, something modest but for sure nicer than where we are. Few years back I tried getting on disability only to get denied, even after adjudication. May refile although I'm not too sure now. Been doing fine without, barring my bum foot. *chuckles* Got that from moving too fast and being clumsy. I'm such a Goober. :p:D:)

If anyone needs a happy, here's mine for the day: My Milly-Kitteh.

IMG_20201108_151835.jpg

Just like humans...we have good times, we argue, we quarrel, she gets mad, I get mad...but I never go to sleep mad at her.

She doesn't usually sleep WITH me like Tiki did, but when I go to bed, she runs up into her nearby bed too. Regardless of the day we've had, I go snuggle and pet on Milly up on Tiki's old dresser bed before we sleep. I may sleep by my self, but I get to go to sleep to the sound of a buzzsaw-purring cat that loves me, and it is enough just to know she is there. :)

Nov 30th 2020, will be our one year anniversary.
The year of COVID has for me, also been the year of Milly.

It has been a journey, to say the least. And yet, I don't know what I'd do without her. She's unlike any cat I've ever had, and I've had dozens since I was a kid...she's one of a kind. She's beautiful. And she's mine. ☺️?

Piddlin', looking a tv by way of the Roku.

Told wife's brother in law I was having trouble rolling logs over into the shed to split. A person might think he'd get the idea to roll some over for me on one of his trips up and passing by. He could then see that I knew he did that, I could then go up and split some. Am I holding my breath that happens? No.

I'm still on limited duty until at the least Dec. 3rd. Yes I'm semi-functional and can be walking out of the house in the boot. I still need to use care though. Shoving, squatting and moving big logs some 70 to 100 lbs on one foot basically, is a bit tough. I can though lift them up near the splitting machine, roll them up into place and split them. So, getting them near enough is the issue.

Not going to worry over it too much though. He wants to be dip-shit enough to not take a few minutes to help here and there, he can freeze. Not sure I'm going to worry over it when I do get cleared to go back to going full on. Why ought I to bother when it's clear her dad and brother in law don't? Ah, because I'm the better man?

Sometimes even being the better man you have enough. See, stuff always happens like this for me and her. We have to play clean up for others. I did it with my stepdad, coming up at age fifteen to be head of the house, helping mom. Wife has done it too here to help her mom.

When do we get the benefits of it being ours? So far we don't. We wouldn't have such a mess anyway, but that's not the point. We're both tired of needing to fix for other people that ought to know, and do better. And sure fine we can understand if people "get down" that's one thing, when it's constant though that's another. And it's not right to use us as pack mules.

Oh well, I'm going to piddle and look at tv. Not really much else for me to do at the time. Not really much on the tv I care to look at, but even background noise beats deafening but golden reflective silence.

Strange that you use the phrase "pack mule." That's the way I felt a lot of the time when my kids were little. I've also felt that way when I was unloading $150 worth of groceries out of the car and everybody else in my family was sitting on their asses not doing a thing.

That kind of stuff happens enough, then everybody wonders why you lose your shit and start yelling and throwing stuff. They go, "What did WE do?"

I remember one Sunday morning, back in about 1995, it was Mother's Day, 6:30 in the morning, and I was outside with the push mower, mowing the grass that I'd been trying to get someone to mow for three weeks, and everybody else in my family was inside, still asleep. I was so angry I was crying. Crying and mowing. Mother's Day and nobody gave a shit. Thank God it wasn't hot outside. If it had been, I might have gone inside and beat the hell out of somebody. (Heat makes me a little crazy.)

So I know what you mean. You go on and piddle and don't worry about the damn wood. Take $20 and go buy yourselves a Delonghi oil radiator space heater and to hell with the rest of 'em.

Wife got a $70 little electric heater from Tractor Supply last week. It's in her car but she could bring it down any time, or hell I think maybe I could. Been using two crutches still to go up and down our steep little hill here. Maybe a week I'll be going just the boot. It'll do until the electric goes out. Usually does sometime during the Winters here.

Yes, it's just the principles of it. Her brother in law touts himself as such a family man. He touts himself as so competent as well no matter the subject. Could sell him for what he thought he was worth we'd be in billions. :) Unfortunately we have to face not even half of the value he thinks he's worth. And sadly, I note it's about the same with her dad. He does though have a few health issues. Still asking for help only takes the asking.

ETA: Heading out for the mental health therapy session. Talking helps some. Then, you face things beyond your own control. Talking is merely a vent. I go anyway because it's kind of mandated.

Winter came back today, nothing much though just a few inches of snow.
I don't dig the snow-rain-slush-freeze cycle stuff much as it makes walking a PITA.

Also washed my bedroom window...lol...it had been furred. ?

I left the heat on 74 last night so it was hot in the living room when I got up this morning. I've had the air conditioning on since 8:00. We'll have a couple of chilly days, then a couple of warm days. I never know what to do about heat and cooling.

I'd just as soon have your couple inches of snow, especially since I don't have to go anywhere. :)

Maybe I should say, I'd just as soon have a couple inches of snow after it dries up some outside, because we've had so much rain lately, it's like a giant mud hole out there.

Right now, it's around 40 outside, 58 in the LR, 61 in the hallway, and about 73 in the heated bedroom where we are. It all works out pretty well.

No mud here, just concrete and asphalt....but slush and standing water is a PITA. I guess I'm the only city-dweller that doesn't have a car...meh.

Cars around here don't slow down or care about pedestrians, so getting a puddle of freezing slush and water chucked at ya by passing cars going 40+ is a problem if you don't pay attn. That and idjits who despite the city mandate to clear sidewalks and such, many just don't....even some retailers. So, walking in this weather is a bit treacherous sometimes. Especially when you can have water, snow, and ice at the same time on concrete.

Add to that carrying 20-30lbs of groceries and it's an adventure...hehehe. It is whut it is.

Nonetheless, I'll probably walk over the Dollar Tree for some canned goods since I got my Food-EBT in today. Kinda want to take the bus up to Grocery Outlet for better stuff, it's serindipity all over that place, but IDK if I want the hassle. Hmm.

Gotta make a batch of Milly Food today sometime too...Milly burns a lot of fuel in winter being a crazee-kitteh and she ate two plates of meat just this morning. A one-pound batch usually lasts her 4-5 days though. I tried larger batches, but she doesn't like the freezer taste after a while and I don't have much freezer space anyways.

I still got enough meat in reserve for this and one more batch before I'd need more meat, but rather walk in this than the freezing rain/snow mix of next week. I'm edging towards taking the bus...less overall walking and they have everything including meat for Milly, good breads, frozen things, and fresh stuff. Just is hard to limit myself to what I can carry as there are so many deals there, and stock rotates often.

I got tinned and dry goods stocked up for myself, but she can't eat any of it. Gotta plan ahead always.
I lived though Icestorm '96...that was no joke and could happen again anytime. ;)

Morning!

The sun is out here, we dropped about 10*. Still pretty outside. We have to do a food run, maybe hit the drive-thru pizza place. It's been awhile. Jessie will need to sniff it, then back off fast. Not a fan of strong odors. She will not eat people food, at all. Looks at us like "you are really going to eat that"? She's up on her table watching the world go by.

Stay safe and healthy

We've had a couple of ice-storms-from-frozen-hell here in past years. None lately, thank goodness, because they are NASTY in the extreme. Had eight inches of solid ice on the ground once when the kids were little, and omg my son! I went down to the car to see if I could even get the doors open, and before I left the house I told the kids, "Now, DO NOT come outside for any reason! It is DANGEROUS out there!" Yes, mama, they all said. Pfft.

I slid down the hill in front of the house on my ass, so I wouldn't break it, got down to the car and am trying to get the doors open, look around and who do I see standing there? My eight-year-old son. God love him, if he ever did anything I told him to do, I think I would have fainted.

Well I give him a piece of my mind, decide I can't get the car doors open, and start trying to get back up the hill. Nope. I can't do it. I get about eight feet from the curb, where the incline starts to get steeper, and every time I try to take a step, I just slide right back down. I sit down and try to push myself backwards up the hill. Nope. Can't get purchase with my feet well enough to push. Even when I slam my heels down on that ice, it's not budging.

So then it turns out that it's a good thing my son is outside, because his little butt is already up the hill and he's calling me, Mama what's wrong? I tell him, go get me a shovel please, so he does. I finally managed to get up the hill by using the shovel to jam down into the ice and pull myself up that hill on my belly, about six inches at a time.

That was also the same ice storm that my son-in-law decided to RIDE A BICYCLE to the grocery store, because we'd all been shut up in the house for four days and had run out of Pepsi and milk and bread. This old stray dog followed him home and proceeded to scratch at our front door until he actually scratched completely through the wood and left a damn hole in the door. (It was a cheap house built in the 70s, and the front door was one of those lauan doors that was hollow in the middle.) We ended up having to call 911 on this dog, and the K-9 cops came through all that ice and got the dog.

We've had as much as a foot of ice on the ground a time or two, but I learned after that first storm to not take my tail out of the house at all. If I'm out of Pepsi and milk and bread, then that's just tough. I'll drink water and eat crackers! lol

I haven't seen ground beef that cheap in years and years. And I'd love to have a turkey to cook this weekend. Lemme mosey on up there....

Y'all can have the wine. Enjoy.
Yeah, it's cheap. WinCo is about the same, crazy prices all the time. :)

Talked to Dad, I owe him some Cracker Barrel cheese and snacks for his recent b-day and he wants a turkey, so we're fixing to go tomorrow and load up. He can't today 'cuz their car is getting snow tires put on today.

I think I'll just wait until then and save the $2 bus fare and hassle of carrying in the mush. Dad gets his snax and a cheap turkey and I get to not carry bags in the snow. Win-Win.

I'll still go out for a bit, just to BE out and to snag her monthly bag of Solid Gold's "Indigo Moon" Egg & Chicken cat food from Petco. It's needed for when I am out for any length of time and so I can sleep over the night. No free-feeding here.

She was raised on kibble unfortunately, so she still wants it even with meat around. I just try to limit her intake of that to a minimum. A 4lb $14 bag lasts a month or more and it's not bad for her.

My sis is coming in from Northern AZ today. I still have stuff from storage in boxes and several of them are Christmas ornaments and ceramic village houses for under the tree or other display. Then we're going to Goodwill to donate a bunch of stuff. She had to bring her hubs truck. It will be great to see her. I haven't seen her in 2 years I think.

Does anyone have experience with Bell's Palsy? I'm drooping!

I have a coworker whose husband just went through that, but unfortunately I don't remember much of what she told me. I will ask her to remind me what the doctor told her husband.

ETA: She said it is a type of paralysis that will fade with time. She thinks the doctor gave her husband a steroid for it, and the doc told them that the medical community isn't exactly sure what causes it but they suspect it could be viral.

In his case, it was affecting one of his eyes, and he could not close it completely. Instructions were to use eye drops several times a day and to cover it loosely with folded gauze, taped gently in place, to keep the eye from getting too dry. That part only lasted a very short while.

Thanks for the info, Nada! I'm glad her husb was able to get a jump on it. I'm going to use eyedrops until I see my PCP. I have one of those electronic acupuncture pens for the face you see on TV or cheap China sites. I'll give that a try and sweep the want upward. It has a metal ball on the end that rolls over your face. They say it's supposed to lift the face. I've had it for a few years and only tried it once.

I looked it up last night and they did mention Prednisone and probable viral infection. It's been doing this since I finally noticed in August. They say that it is reversible with some type of mild shock treatment to the face and facial exercises. I'll PM my doc today. He's new to me and an old fart that has always referred me to someone.

Ha! Looks like today will likely be so so as well. Will probably be the same tomorrow as well. Hm. Raining out a bit.

Still be a half nice day to do some archery target practice. No bow here though. Not really wanting to go spend for a good bow kit at this time either. Thinking more long term, save toward a house.

Will eventually need & want a bow though, will have it too. Wife doesn't want firearms in the house. She'll get over it because I'll have a few of those as well. Granted I'm not going to go all out Rambo on an horde, still will have some. We're going to live in the country, damn tootin' we'll have a few guns.

Well, yay a so so day. Y'all run 'er slow.

Ohio numbers at an all time high...

Gov DeWine issues MANDATORY MASK ORDER for ANYONE in a public space. Business owners will be held accountable for any employees or customers not wearing a mask. And must hang a MANDATORY MASK ORDER sign at your business entrance.
In one week if numbers don't improve, bars, restaurants, non-essentials will be closed again.

It gets worse... My best friend + cousin has tested positive. Luckily she got a mild case and has not needed to be hospitalized. She got it from an irresponsible employee that came to work sick, didn't tell anyone she was sick, and didn't wear a mask :(. Because of that employee's selfishness my granddaughter is now living under a contagious roof. Please keep them all in your prayers.
