Evening and GFY yall. Had a vape mail kinda day but not exactly a good one and not exactly a poor one. My new heated Ultrasonic cleaner showed up. Have it hooked up and ready to go but havent tried it yet. Also recieved a petri 2 (clone) and been waiting on this one. I built dual 24ga kanthal coils for it, put them in, went to straighten one side out and the damn neg post pops out of the base. Grrrrrr. Take it all apart and it is just pressed into place so hammered it back in, went to coil it again and came loose again. Not gonna happen. Might try a 26ga build later but at the moment I am pissed at it
Second Boreas showed up and figured it was a perfect time to try out this new native wicks yall recommended. Put dual 24ga Kanthal 3 mm 12 wrap coils in it and wicked it. Soaked the wicks down real well and put it together. Filled tank, let it sit for a few minutes until the big air bubbles stopped coming up in the tank and gave it a vape. Not bad, gave it another vape and started getting dry hits. Fiddled fucked with it for 30 minutes including rewicking it and the wick just wont keep up to my vape style. Rewicked it again with Rayon and right out the gate, perfect vape. Not a single dry hit since.
Also recieved some Supima cotton wick but havent tried it yet.
