Yesterday I picked up my boy Rascal and we spent the day celebrating the big number 7 for him. We had hot dogs and chocolate cake and he loved his new toys, then we went out and chased kitties and fun was had by all.

And the reason I bought them, to put on my nails, is because I NEVER EVER put nail polish on them, because I can't bear the godawful stink of that shit, even after it's dry! I can get more nail stickers at the dollar store, to replace those I put on my mod.

I thought flan was pretty good, but I had it at an authentic *spanish* restaurant. Their cuisine is a little different from the typical mexican or latin american stuff.

Wow that's really nice! The problem is, I can't remember it because it had a French title. Well, part of it was French. I've already researched and couldn't find it. I think it was one of those "homemade" ones put in a binder. Haven't seen it in 25 years.

Oh ok. That's the diet I'm on. Heart healthy, low cholesterol. My cholesterol was 335 a little over a year ago and I was on Lipitor. But it made my neck hurt worse so I just started eating oatmeal for breakfast every day. Or a salad. Hardly any animal fats. Rarely eggs. But lately I've been doing really bad so who knows. I might just have to go back to Lipitor for a bit. Fortunately, I LOVE vegetables.

Yep 5 of my 7 kids got it.Very common problem usually a minor staff infection causing it.In the old bad days before antibacterial/antimicrobial medicines the kid would have died.

My FIL who has passed on now was telling me how screwed up things were and how he wished he was back in the good ol days.
I told him you would be dead.
He wanted to know what I meant.
I said well they did not have stints or open heart surgery or BP meds then and so you would be dead long before now.
He got a sheepish grin and said he still missed em.

Momma cat moved 5 kittens to beside the front door today in the rain.
I put them in a pet bed with clean dry rags and put them in the basement then took momma cat down there.
Set up food litter box, etc.
She was not happy but I just checked and she has moved the kittens to some other place in the basement.
And had to find her food and water to do so. so all should be well.
Momma is not cuddly tame. Likes me and wants to be petted and that is about it.
Lost a bit of blood taking her to the basement.

Should have taken pics but was in a big rush all concerned about the kittens...

I use to thinkhe was being mean to the kitties but they seem to love him. After being chased all over the place I seen them many times in the yard cuddling him. GO figure.
