I think so too. hehehehehe
My mom got thrown in the mud once feeding the horses in the rain. She bent over to put the grain under the fence and touched it with her forehead. A wet hotwire is nothing to play around with. Oh, and yeah. I think that's funny too. hehehehehe

I grew up on a farm and we had electric fences. Put a hand hold on someones arm and then grab that wire was a blast. All you would feel was a tingling and the one you grabbed would get the shit shocked out of them :teehee:

Ok, halloween. Got my halloween avatar up, and the mate just went out and posted the NO TREATS sign so we don't get a bunch of screaming brats ringing our doorbell. :)

That's just one of the ways in which my husband and I are very well-suited; neither of us has a bit of use for "going out" for the sake of going out. I used to enjoy restaurants, and certainly bars... but I quit drinking, and I have to be so careful what I eat... so we simply stay at home -- and now and then enjoy some healthy fast-food like subway or taco hell -- none of that greasy burger shit. My mom simply refused to even try and understand it, how much we enjoy simply staying home -- now that we have a nice home of our own, where else would we want to be? :D

Andria

Yeah, that's what it is for me and wife. We enjoy Chinese, Subway, every now again Arby's or Taco Hell. We like Golden Coral for the buffet when in Parkersburg. But we're not the kind that has enjoyment in constantly running out, spending money needlessly, getting stuff simply for status or 'keeping up with Jones'. Her sister and BIL are the complete opposite and her sis & BIL have yet to ever be on their own. Me and wife love being on our own. :) Granted there are times we might scrape by, but we manage. That's living we think and folks do it. :)

Watched a guy pee on an electric fence once, I thought it was frickin hilarious but he didnt see the humor in it :giggle::giggle::giggle::giggle::giggle:

Reminds me of my youngest brother. Me and middle bro told him to pee on weeds. The weeds were grown up around a string of electric fence. It was so damn funny we had to run and go pee ourselves. :giggle:

There's another aspect, too, to our staying home: when I smoked, I was really annoyed when they made the laws about no smoking in restaurants... but I put up with it, because having been married to 2 non-smokers, I'm aware that non-smokers don't like the smell -- and now I don't either! But now that I vape... so much MORE healthy and LESS stinky... but I would still have to go outdoors? Fuck that noise. I'll stay home and keep my money, rather than give it to ignorant fatheads. Fuck 'em all!!!!!!!!

You have to keep sumptin in mind when letting non vape places irritate you. You really cant blame them because there is always that flaming cloudz bro asshole who wants to fog the place out. Now thinks, if you was a young mother with young kids, would you want to dine at anyplace that was fogged out?

Of course not, and I do reserve a GOODLY portion of my ire for any idiots who think it's fun and amusing to deliberately be as irritating as possible, in whatever way. And just another reason I'm so utterly enraged at the hardware mfrs, for running off and leaving conservative vapers completely in the dust -- people nowadays EQUATE vaping with massive clouds, nevermind those of who have vaped for years with barely a cloud in sight for the whole bunch of us -- I can tell if people are vaping or smoking from 50 yds despite being nearsighted -- just see which are the thickest and most annoying clouds, that'll be the vapers. It INFURIATES me. Vaping was perfectly fine, but there's always gotta be those who take everything to annoying extremes, to the detriment of EVERYBODY ELSE.

I'm seeing a few new MtL entries though, so maybe the pendulum is poised to swing back to sanity.

Here in Ripley, when the banning in restaurants began, the Chinese place we go to kept a smoking area and could do to some grandfathering clause. It was up toward the front end by the door yet had adequate ventilation via HVAC vents in the ceiling above it. Well, one evening when me and her went to supper there, after finishing I lit a cigarette up and had one of the nice young ladies bring me one the disposable 'tin' ashtrays. i thought nothing of it until one old lady in the back 'seemed' to be whispering to her friend, another old lady at her table. The 'whisper' though was loud enough it was heard.

"Why look at that disgusting man, in a fine dinning atmosphere and ruins it by smoking. There's a law against it. We ought to talk to the fellow running the place."

The fellow running the place got a broad and 'loving' grin on his lips. He chuckled and pointed to the small placard on his wall at the front where we sat. That placard read; "Smoking Here Only". He pointed then to where i was seated.

"That smoke area, he smoke okay there. I talk to law man and is all okay he say."

He then turned and flashed me a big grin, went on into the back to do what he enjoyed, cooking.

I was glad he had 'settled' the issue as he did. Told my wife I was a hair from getting up and pitching them out. *chuckles*

Now, the Chinese place has moved a little bit and due to this, it is a fully non-smoking place inclusive of vaping. I do not mind curbing myself while in there. I have a time or two got my mod out of my pocket and at hand when getting ready to leave. The guy running the place nods, smiles. He told me once.

"Much better, cigarette many poisons. Steamer box not so many."

I smiled back and nodded.

So yep, I understand staying home even to vape. It doesn't though deter me if we're out. I reckon because of an awareness that no matter where you you'll find someone being an a-hole, and there you are. :) I felt real good two days ago, when I gave wife's BIL the PIF Dripbox2. Sure he's an a-hole most of the time & I don't particularly like him. Well, I remembered an old adage, "kill 'em with kindness." :) It turns out that it does seem to "add a spoonful of sugar to help the medicine go down." *chuckles*

But then the other evening I got fussy regarding her sister. She had come over to stand in our door way during us watching wrestling.

"Are y'all gonna wash clothes soon," she asked my wife.

"Hadn't planned on it, why," replied my wife.

She held up a pair or two of her own pants. "I was wanting these washed."

My wife just shook her head no. "Nope, we're all caught up for a little bit. Sorry."

I grumbled under my breath when the sister had gone, "fuck you, I don't wash your clothes."

My wife chuckled.

"Not your husband either," I continued "If I was you'd be out of a husband," I concluded.

"Ben," my wife says quietly.

"I know, shut up hubbay," I said.

I will be so glad of December. :)

Well I'm not going to lie. I enjoy making clouds of vapor, getting a room to look all smoky for a few seconds. At the same time however, I also try not to be an annoying twat with doing it. To me it is a simple matter of courtesy, good manners ... hm, The Golden Rule as well as the Silver Rule. Reckon I'm an oddball case no matter what I do, or wherever I go. *sighs*

Well, I need to go tend the dogs. Got my splitting caught up so none of that today.

When they went to smoking area's in restaurants around here, I hated it. Most places had a glass enclosed area and it stunk, not so much of stale cigs but had its own nasty aroma. The service was sub par in these area's and ended up eating in the non smoking area most of the time or just not going out to eat anymore. What really sucked was when we was out for a night of partying. We would close the bars down and then meet up at the waffle house or an ihop or truck stop and smoke and BS while getting coffee and breakfast before heading home. Many good times was had back then. When they went non smoking it wasnt worth going anymore.
