We got fucked over for the 3 day weekend. I have to work tomorrow. But it’s double pay day...holiday plus regular pay. It still sucks cause I had plans for tomorrow.
My husband is off tomorrow, which gave him the opportunity to do one of his regular extracurricular jobs, landscaping, for which he makes the same hourly wage as at his regular job, but y'know, tax-free cash.
He'll easily make over $100, plus the $50 he made the other night at another landscape job, plus a real nice regular check which he got today, plus $15 I made the other day from my son's friend who loves my ejuice. Our credit cards will be losing weight. Still got an $1800 tax refund coming too, prolly sometime in April. Andria

Thankfully in my state there is a huge push to legalize for recreational. There is a damn good chance it will pass because the bill is titled the legalization and taxation lol
Employers can still terminate employment because of a failed DT. Just because it is legalized doesn't mean employer have to keep you on the payroll.
I wonder if they would fire somebody for drinking while not on the job.What you do in your own time should be your own business...Period.
Actually if you drank so much and came to work under the influence you could be fired but that is not what I was talking about.
